Darkdragon's For Sale/Trade Thread

Awwww it's cop mike! -
Careful! It's a trap! Dale weasels his way into your heart with the best pizza ever. He's effectively ruined an entire food genre for me. DON'T DO IT! (or do it, and be forced back to go every year for Chicago Pizza) seriously, the pizza is amazing, and you're going to have a blast! I'll be there, I believe I Scream Clone may be coming from down under as well this year.

Paid Membership with perks? Any interest?
Si-MOCs replied to Siegfried's topic in Forum Information and Help
I'm rarely even on EB anymore. But I would pay to keep it free. I'd be totally willing to donate on a yearly basis to keep things zero tiered. Or sponsor prizes, or write off unpaid expenses -
I like how it looks, it's got a great beefy UMPH to it. My suggestion in stead is colour. Those are awesome medium azureish wheels. all you need is matching medium azure plate here or there and you're done!

Wow! Your first major build out of darkages ? that's is awesome man! Great use of colour and style! Loving those little cheese wedges you stuck on in the prongs.

NoVVember ? ok but If I Can spill some SHIPtember to it.
Si-MOCs replied to Guss's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
You should have made it more Ma.K -y and hit all 3 months at once :) Very nice ship :) -
I agree with lousygulch, it's a pretty good start for a ship, having you tell us things that bug you can help focus constructive criticism. There's a lot of great angles and you have going, and even some nice colour blocking with the green. in terms of polish you could always tile up some of that wing area, or make it less obviously exposed. But it's a pretty nice little ship you have!

Joker got wind that Batman's Batfighters are MIA so he's stepped out for a night on the town with his JX Paskdis VV. Watch out Arkham nebula! Jokers on the loose and he's a little gassy. Colour scheme was chosen Xtopher- and of course Purple/Lime just screams (Mark Hamill voice) Joker... I had always planned on building 3 more Batman Starfighters (Burton, Animated and Tumbler) to go along with my two existing starfighters, but after losing those two I decided to jump to rouge gallery instead! Also Lime and Purple is a really tough combo to photograph...

That windshield is fantastic. I love how you didn't go easy on the greebles

That's all sorts of awesome. I love like how you used the container and that one headlight brick inbetween. Something so simple adds so much texture to that section!

The XK-427 Firefly is a lesser known SF3D creation. It was designed by the SDR as a test bed for improved antigravity technology. Earlier generations of Strahl AG technology proved to be harmful to humans which is why only unmanned equipment like the Neuspotter or Krachenvogal has AG as a means of propulsion. The main fuselage was based upon a heavily modified KH503 fan lift aircraft. Four spherical antigravity pods were located in protective housings which were placed on each corner of the craft for a total of 4 AG pods. No additional means of propulsion is indicated or shown. It had a crew of two and carried a single 128mm cannon as the main armament. On its maiden voyage, the Firefly crashed in Mercenary Army territory. The Mercenary scientists were able to duplicate the technology which was later used to power the Falke Anti-Gravity Raider. Yeah having a WIP shot to show scale would be easier ;) Though if you're working with 6x6 maybe use two of these: Or if you want something even rounder:

Apologies on the delay everyone. But after a day of rest after BrickCon. A day of packing, and two days of walking to post office - everything has been shipped out! I also threw in something extra special for the extended delay - sorry guys

If you have already PM'd Brickthing - don't worry - no need to PM me too - I'll get the info from Brickthing. If you have already PM'd Bricktthing - and you are worrying - you can PM me too. If you haven't PM'd Brickthing, please do. Basically if you are getting antsy, feel free to PM me, but it'll still be Brickthing's show.

I'm not sure where brick thing is, but I will try to contact him when I get back home. In the meantime, since I have all the prizes feel free to PM me your details. Though fore warning: I probably can't get everything shipped out till mid sept Due to other commitments, and silly lego packaging that makes it hard to build boxes to ship

Looks about the same seriously nice revamp. The photography is a big improvement since 2011, but I love all the extra details you've added to really flush it out to something that /feels/ real. Though I question the need for the twin tails, besides just looking cool
-
Holy spikey bits batman! haha. I don't think I would normally suggest or even like spikes like that in a build... but it really works! Nice!
-
I absolutely loved the modularity of your team's ships - really cool idea - and you pulled it off really well. Non of those configurations looks 'obvious' that it can be completely reconfigured.
-
Love the colour scheme and the textures you used! And the base with the little stars... But what I really love is the hydroponics sections - it adds a great 'real science' feel to it
