  1. This is absolutely amazing! I feel like it's from a videogame..... I can't remember which.
  2. Looks like a great start to a challenging car! I'll be sure to follow this :)
  3. Thanks! As of now I have removed the steering selection, so now there is just 4 wheel steering. There was no room behind the cab for the selection lever.
  4. UPDATE TIME! So, I decided to start on the bodywork, because I have to ration the DBG arts in the set. Here's what I have so far: It's looking a little rough, so suggestions on how to make it better (especially the bumper) are wanted. Thanks for tuning in! BrickbyBrickTechnic
  5. Awesome review as always Sariel! The suspension is really intricate. Anyone who's reading this, 42054 or 42069? Which is better?
  6. That's what I'm gonna do! I removed the steering mode switch, so now there's only 4-wheel steering. Thank you.
  7. It would. I just don't have any of those, and this is a c model. Thank you for the suggestion! An Amazone Pantera with flotation tires? Hmm... But on the Amazone website, it lists 3 different modes: http://www.amazone.net/3091.asp I guess I will have to make do with the colors :(
  8. So you're probably wondering what an Amazone Pantera 4502-H is. It's farm equipment, the 4502-H is a crop sprayer. I get that @eric trax is the farming equipment guy around here, but I couldn't not build this. Here's what the real life vehicle looks like: The wheels aren't a perfect match, but if I build this right and get good suggestions from you guys amybe that will be the only inaccuracy :) Here's what I got so far: It's just the base for the 3 steering modes, which this thing has. In the end, it will have some more manual functions and 2 power functions. Thanks for reading! Suggestion are wanted to make this MOC the best it can be. BrickbyBrickTechnic
  9. Behold, my latest MOC! The airport catering truck! This is attempt 3 for this MOC. I had 2 ideas before which I tried, but both were abysmal and failed. One was a car transport truck, but the gearbox was messy and there were no good functions I could make with the pieces from 42043. The second was a revival of 8868, but that turned out even worse as different parts of the truck were on different scales altogether. Finally, I scrapped it and decided to start fresh. Thus, this project was built. If you're wondering why there's paper on the side of the container, it's due to the lack of panels in the 42043 set (I would have needed at least 14 more to coat both sides of the container, but then it wouldn't be an alternate model). On the other hand, now there's a logo! It's the logo for the LSG Sky Chefs, a company that makes airplane food. The hardest part of this project was getting the gearbox not to slip for the pump and drive function. Early on in the build, I didn't realize it, but the lack of reinforcement came to haunt me towards the end. As a result, the side panels are crude, but they keep the gearbox together, just barely. Until the very end of the project (when I added some backbone to the truck), the entire vehicle shook when the pump was activated. So the model had and still has some faults, but in the end, the build was worth it and I believe the model looks good and works well. Feel free to leave your thoughts, I would love to hear them. Pictures and video below. The model is 1 42054 long and 1 42054 high. Thanks for reading/watching and I hope you enjoy! BrickbyBricktechnic
  10. It does, but because the rear suspension is a live axle, I couldn't fix the BB mount to it. I could try to do a fix and put it in the instructions.
  11. Certainly a really nice looking car! If you haven't already, I suggest you make lots of reinforcement for the chassis.
  12. I most certainly will make instructions! Thank you! I actually had an extra blue hose so I was able to make it longer. In the picture it looks stretched, but it is not in real life. Well, thank you as well Aventador! Thanks alot! I have some more free time, so I am currently building alot. There will be instructions, though I can't say in how long just yet.
  13. Thank you so much! Your comment means alot to me; I'm happy that at least 1 person sees the improvement I'm trying to make in my MOC quality. Your mocs are quite nice, too
  14. Hi everyone, I found this late! Could you guys add my C models to the index? I have a couple of them: Yeah, that's about it. If each needs a topic, let me know so I can remove the ones without a topic.
  15. - Best design: 42054 CLAAS Xerion - Most complex/best functions: 42043 Arocs - Most revolutionary: 42042 Crawler crane, for the introduction of the multidirectional gearbox - Most underrated: 42056, which was missing stuff but it is amazing overall and a huge leap for the technic team - Best small set: 42048 Go Kart - Great, but forgotten: I don't know, I forgot.
  16. OK, That's it. We're done! The MOC is done! Today I finalised some stuff, added some details, modified the raising for the container, and added the paper. The full video has been shot and will be uploaded shortly. Here are the final pictures: And a comparison shot: the model contains around 2000 pieces. Also, a surprising fact about this model: It is made from parts only from 42043! So in essence, it is a C model. Thanks for stopping by! Please leave some thoughts on the model, it is greatly appreciated. BrickbyBrickTechnic
