  1. Good idea I wondered why the real truck didn't have rear guards. I didn't worry about it while I was building but seems like a good mod now that it's done.
  2. This is an awesome idea. If this became a thing I would certainly participate.
  3. Thank you! I'm glad you think my C models are great, because the idea of C models got me into lego in the first place.
  4. Anyone remember this B model? I personally think it sucks. So I decided to rebuild it, but as a C model of set 42054. These are the functions the finished model will have: -Crane stage 1 (motorized) -Crane stage 2 (motorized) -Front ripper blade (motorized) -Grabber (manual) -Articulated steering (manual) -Simulated suspension Here's what I have so far: This is the rear with the basis for the crane. This is the 2 axis articulated joint. This gives a simulated suspension. So that's it for now! Stay tuned for updates, as they will be coming soon! BrickbyBrickTechnic
  5. That would be great, thanks. Also thanks for giving me the link to the blog!
  6. Nice! The only thing that looks bad is the cabin, but seeing as you tried to improve it, I think you could stick with it. The different forks n' stuff you have are very cool. Good job overall
  7. Thank you! The problem is, I'm not sure how to fix the rear. I know I have to lower it, but would I compromise the suspension system? Thanks a lot!
  8. Not without compromising structural integrity, unfortunately.
  9. For now I do have lots of time, plus I build quite fast in general The chassis is too high unfortunately.
  10. The picture is really tiny so I can't see what you have made. Could a mod or yourself make it bigger?
  11. Thank you so much! Yes, it does have flaws, but that gives me more reasons to improve on my next truck MOC Also it won't be long before this is available on rebrickable.
  12. Yes, I realized this too as I analyzed my blueprint after completion. I did not know how to change the rear suspension. Everything you say here makes sense, it really isn't much. The rear is certainly close to disastrous, the wheel arches are rectangular (though I used all my flex axles in this MOC, so there was no way I could have achieved a different solution). It is missing some details. Thanks. Thank you!
  13. Thank you! I have lots of time for now, but I won't soon... Thanks alot! Thank you so much! Professional? Thanks! The lengths fit my blueprint best so I just went with them. Either rear is short or sleeper is long Either rear is short or sleeper is long. I honestly can't tell
  14. Hello everyone, This may be considered a revival (though I assure you that isn't the intent of this post). The instructions for this MOC are ready- and I am pleased o tell you that there are over 600 quality images guiding you through the building process. Here is the link: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-9356/BrickbyBrickTechnic/crop-sprayer-42054-c-model
  15. Hello all, Presenting my latest MOC: the Peterbilt 579! It is the first truck of its type that I have ever built, closest I have come to this type of truck is a tow truck. There are 4 RC functions: Drive (2 L motors), Steering (1 Servo), Shifting gears (M motor), and locking fifth wheel (M motor). This also just happened to be the first model I have ever built that actually has a working gearbox. My last model with a gearbox, the Ram, couldn't even work on half the gears.... One thing I'm especially proud of is the accuracy of the bodywork, while still keeping the suspended cab. The only part of the truck that lacked accuracy was the rear. Here are some pictures: So That's it! I hope you like the MOC! Any comments and criticism are more than appreciated. BrickbyBrickTechnic
  16. The last cab does look better than this one. Maybe because in the slanted roof looks terrible, otherwise all is good?
  17. Awesome MOC! I saw this on rebrickable, I was wondering when you would post this here.
  18. I hope this isn't the final version. While this is still much of an improvement, the cabin is extremely boxy and greatly hurts the look of the telehandler overall, as the rest is quite good. The forks are also extremely crude, I would like to see a better solution. Good job so far, wish you luck! BrickbyBrickTechnic
  19. I joined, but it says that I don't have permission to send messages? Edit: Never mind.
  20. I see some improvement! Good job! It does still look too boxy as several others have said... but any improvement is a good thing As for the pictures. They are not bad, the background is good. Just watch the focus of the camera, as some pictures were blurry (especially visible in the picture with the fork).
