  1. UPDATE TIME! The chassis is almost, almost complete (the only modification necessary now is the toe-in). Here are some pictures and a list of mods: -Front suspension has 2 soft shocks now (had 1 hard one before) -2xl motors power this beast instead of one allowing drive on all gears but gear 8 -rear axle rebuilt (thanks @mocbuild101 for your idea... this axle is based on it) -shifting mech finalized Thanks for tuning in! Exams are done so progress time is NOW! BrickbyBrickTechnic
  2. This will be beautiful when it's done. Keep building, can't wait!
  3. I can't disagree with this. My sets would be almost the same, but I would have the 42070 6x6 Tow Truck replacing assembly square, because it looks awesome :)
  4. So am I :) You're right, there is definitely some toe-in. These videos will come in handy, thank you!
  5. I did use your gearbox. It was the simplest design; anything I would have built would have been much more complex. Credit will be given to you in the final video.
  6. Thanks a lot! There's just 1 problem, and that's that I don't have many frames, and ordering doesn't come easy around here :) I'll certainly see what I can do, and provide more pics :)
  7. Here's my latest WIP, the Ram 1500. This is mostly based on my desire to do a vehicle with 8 speeds. Ram 1500 has an 8-speed transmission in reality. The model has several functions in place already: -Steering -Drive (4x4) -Suspension (Front has positive caster angle, rear live axle) -8 speed transmission with 90-degree shift (Not done yet) Here's a picture: Drive is with 1 xl motor right now, but it will be changed to 2 as 1 does not have enough torque for gears 6, 7, and 8. Steering is with 1 m motor. The front suspension has a positive Caster angle. It was built by angling the suspension beams and securing them to the chassis. The rear axle is incredibly weak right now. PLEASE LEAVE A SUGGESTION FOR OW I CAN IMPROVE IT. Here's the gearbox up close. The entire section of the chassis is extremely dense, but the is no gear slipping when driving. Please leave a suggestion, and I will update the thread soon! Thanks for your attention. 8. Hi Adam_! Welcome to Eurobricks!
  9. Great first MOC! This is absolutely stunning and I would never be able to do something which even comes close of this! Oh, and welcome to Eurobricks! Keep building!
  10. Interesting concept, I'm just not feeling that "ultimate" vibe. There are several holes in the bodywork, and the lights look (even) worse. Looks like it drives fast though :)
  11. I did receive such an email as you @BusterHaus and I'm ok with it. I haven't seen anything wrong (and all my instructions are free, so...) and it seems like a nice website (I much prefer rebrickable though).
  12. We're getting instructions, right? This is amazing!
  13. Does that mean I'm in the competition? I submitted a little late.
  14. Sucks that I didn't see this earlier @letsbuild . I do have a crawlified set, and I will post it here if you don't mind, even though the deadline was looong ago. There it is. Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Brickbybrick.
  15. Will instructions or at least a video be made soon? Can't wait to build the suspension :)
  16. Billy is a great MOC! Creative name. I would suggest, as @LXF did, to put the shocks above the axle, but also to replace them with softer gray shocks. All in all, great job, keep building!
  17. This is an amazing idea! This gives an equal chance to all builders, skilled or not, unlike most contests here. @Jim please?
  18. If none of the above suggestions work, try rebuilding the crane to arrange the tubes better. Try following this video, I did and it helped me get the tubes in. The timestamps you need are 9:25 and 12:49. Good luck!
  19. Hello Ivan! Your MOC inspired me to make this, the actual thing! Thanks :)
  20. Tatra 815 UDS 114! This is probably the most interesting type of excavator-truck I've ever seen, so I decided to build it on my existing 815 chassis! Here's the video for the chassis, but with a dumper: Thanks for watching! BrickbyBrick
  21. Thanks very much @Peppermint_M!
