ooh. Loving everything that's not a Ninja in Ninjago lately. Got the Skyshark at the weekend and it's lovely. Still need that monkey tho.

LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion

Opps, my bad. Underdeveloped non-descript Eagle blokes are all the same to me. I like the tank and the sweet bike both. -
Mr Greeble Not a fan of Arrested Development?

sounds interesting. especially liking the sound of that bike. Equila's one had a very Dredd feel. -
"Its the final countdown!"

Agent Lotus got the mission in the early hours of the morning. Simple infiltration job. With the Space Olympic Games Land Race event starting soon he had to make sure this went to plan. It was easy enough to find the speeder, and its pilot never expected an attack. He'd wake up with a heck of a headache by the end of the day, plenty of time to use his credentials and enter the race.

sad that they're cancelled, some of them were nice, but mainly I'll be sad that we're not getting cheap parts packs on a regular basis.

There are a lot that would be really cool, but I couldn't see fitting. And a bunch I'd like but know we won't see as they're properties owned or licensed by competitors. Love K_Tiger's Paradisa Vice suggestion. very surprised there's been no A-Team Van announced, especially after the Mr T Dimensions fig. There's quite a few franchises that could work well for one or two sets. Ideas site is rife with them. Personally I'd like Gundam but Bandai don't seem particularly interested in trying to market beyond Japan.

LEGO Toys"R"Us Bricktober Minifigure Collections 2016

would definitely have preferred monsters, but actually like these more than the mini buildings from last year (which, as of last week, were still on the shelves at my local TRU) mostly for parts though. -
[MOC] Kaneda's bike from Akira (with instructions)

wow. great interpretation of one of the coolest designs ever. I don't have all the parts, but definitely going to give it a try (maybe use an alternate colourscheme.) and if there was ever a MOC to try out GARC style sticker cutting, this is the one! -
ha! that's definitely my plan for the future of some of these sets. got some ideas for using some of the Ice Planet pieces with Nexo Knights as well... (now what could I do with a chainsaw in a fantasy/knight style setting? "groovy")

nice build, looks very powerful, but also nice and swooshy.

I like it. definitely feels like a sandcastle come to life.

loving the Scurriers playing dress-up!

Little subtle changes go a long way to making these guys stand out. How about a standard bearer for them? (the Chima lion Tribe pack had a nice banner)
-
Definitely the sort of feel I was going for. Like a shrunken down, broken down battleship patched together and forced to work.

got a deadpool as an add-on to an amazon order at the weekend, because I had a gift card expiring and wanted to make the most of it. for a few quid it is ok. I'd go so far as to say good quality, but not quite the same as proper Lego.

I really like the Kawashita logo on it. May I steal that?

Thanks Monty

probably not news to most people here, but I got and build the Raid Zeppelin the other day and highly recommend it. Not much of a Ninjago guy myself at the moment, but that set is brilliant.

"Ahoy, Agent Lotus!" "umm...Ahoy?" "Be ye, enjoying these fine Space Olympic Games? I'm sure ye arrrr. I'm Kawashita operative John Pearl-Silver, and as ye may see, I've done mesel' a calamity. As such I be needin' someone to replace me in the Boat Race competition. Arrr ye man enough for it, boyo?" "Sure, why not, show me your ship." "Here she be. Her official title is The Major Christopher Summers, named after some olde-timey spacer, but I just call her The Corsair." "I like it. Thanks, Captain Pearl-Silver, I'll treat her right!"

Great work, love the theme idea too. Add me to the list of people who thought "Multi-pass!"
