  1. Probably this, since people were holding out hope that the largest set would be Peach’s castle in minifig scale.
  2. I assume you mean for an aesthetically pleasing caliper in which case I wholeheartedly agree. Sausage / skelly arm was an ingenious solution.
  3. I was wondering when you’d come back to post your thoughts, @Herky kinda a bummer to hear though. I felt like maybe Adam got frustrated that Lego wasn’t supporting structures that are architecturally significant (or even continuing to support the FLW stuff) and used that as motivation to move on but if the building experience with these other blocks isn’t fun or interesting I guess that means easy pass.
  4. I can see my son wanting this. He has bad taste though.
  5. Wait, so this isn’t what you were hinting at when you said Lego had something in the works with the Marvel line?
  6. Yeah that’s a bit smaller than I was expecting. Makes me wonder what the weight will be. I get the SW tax is high but I’m not seeing the parts cost.
  7. I agree completely with you disagreeing.
  8. You buying on bricklink or other avenues like eBay? That would be a big goof for a bl seller, though old grey can be tough to tell apart on certain pieces. regarding a UV lamp, I do know the guy who runs jang bricks does this, tho he was unwilling to say what he uses other than that they’re very expensive lamps. It’s the method I would look into if I was restoring parts on a large scale, you may want to just wait for sun.
  9. If you have that much proof that it’s a legit fig, you shouldn’t have much of a problem selling it on bricklink, eBay, or other local selling options (craigslist, kijiji, Facebook). Could also ask a local seller to broker it for you.
  10. God I wish instructions were available for these. Don’t want to fork over the coin for the set, would rather build in Lego.
  11. Hey, stop mixing fantasy!
  12. Maybe it’ll be a gold centaur chase fig.
  13. I voted gunship but I’m not sure how much they can improve the system scale versions and the MOC done by whoever was a pretty fantastic attempt. nebulon would be a letdown compared to mort’s. zero interest in a bomber.
  14. Yeah, complete the fleet. A-wing.
  15. Awesome vid. If they can figure out the buoyancy and protect the electronics a bit that could be an interesting lego set.
  16. Thanks for posting this, I didn’t want to open all 60 from my box to post a confirmed distribution
  17. That’s unfortunate. In the US everything eventually makes it to Amazon, Target and Walmart.
  18. I thought it was like 6 months in the US.
  19. I’m surprised no one commented on the graduation (acceptance?) letter from the 24th. Such a cool, unexpected piece to cap off the calendar. While I agree that some of the builds were lacking, I think this was pulled together in a hasty fashion and expect a better set of builds next year.
  20. The Taj absolutely leaked ahead of time, but I don’t think there are any other sets really requiring this treatment. Of the brickset poll, only ET seems reasonable to me as it’s a unique landmark with nothing that could be significantly improved upon by new pieces / techniques. train, planes and ship could all be improved upon if they wanted new versions. HH should probably just receive a new set outside the MF theme. MMV seems like nostalgia talking.
