  1. I think the priority for TLG is to make every particular model look good by itself and not with the others. Also different models needs different scale for the functionality to be preserved. E.g. I can not imagine Unimog in 8258/8285 scale with functional crane/plow. Maybe it is possible but with some experienced MOCers' magic. I personally like the diversity of sizes - if every model was in the same scale we would have small variety of parts (wheels, panels etc)
  2. There are some good deals on ebay.de - and shipping would be ~20 Euro
  3. 9397 will be ashamed standing next to 8285 ;) I am waiting for 1h2014 sets, especially for the plane. In meantime I am getting third 10220 soon - but that's not technic (but in my opinion it should be Model Team instead of Creator).
  4. Yes, they told me that even though the free set is automatically added to every new order that meets conditions - it then gets removed manually by the person during 'order validation'.
  5. I have made a call to Customer Support and they pointed out that there is this information on the S@H page:
  6. They did that also in case of 41999 set, when I ordered 2 in separate orders - added polybag to both sets to cart automatically. But then the polybag was removed from the second order :(
  7. [offtopic][noob mode] If I make an order and then make another one right away - will S@H treat this as a one order or 2 separate? Needles to say - I want to grab 2 of those sweet sets.[/noob mode][/offtopic]
  8. Do you have any idea how long will be the first set available?
  9. Ah! 8070/Dodge Viper style! I like it already :)
  10. I would do what Jim says. If you need a bigger scale please take a look at 8258. And if you need american style - go for 8285. All those instructions should be available online.
  11. The main target of Lego products are still kids. Kids love blinking lights - I can see this being applied both in models such as fire brigade truck and construction vehicles. And for AFOLs - it would do good in wide variety of MOCs.
  12. Supported. I hope it gets 10000 votes and appear in one of 2015-2016 sets. I think that even though it might not get enough votes it may still inspire TLG.
  13. So many good entries! My votes go to: 15. VAN-VAN by Trooper10 (1 vote) 29. Funicular Railway by eurotrash (1 vote) 51. V22 Osprey Camper by Dr Spock (1 vote) 87. Camper Tree House by Bayou (3 votes) 175. Steampunk Camper by aditayam (3 votes)
  14. Poor 41999s! I even keep my 'silver' parts wrapped up so they do not scratch each other in the container
  15. They are not so hard to obtain. E.g. #10220 have a few of 2x4 tiles - 4x red, 1x yellow, 11x white
  16. No, standard A-model. As jantjeuh said - the shape of the "nose" is similar. At least from what can be seen on the pic. The color makes me even more excited as I have bought 32 white 1x5x11 panels lately (new for $1 a piece in Prague!) - I now need some smaller ones :)
  17. Non-technic #10226 in 2012 - if it counts :)
  18. I don't like you Egor... First you screw my budget with your gorgeous 41999 and now you bring all the juicy news... Blah :P I want this plane badly! No photo required!
  19. Probably, yes. But it still might be a good information for those who did not cancel their orders.
  20. ...for those who did not cancel their orders. I just got this email:
  21. Still the amout that can be seen in this picture is wat above the limit. Blah...
  22. Yea, I also had 4 parts missing - two 2x1 headlights and two 1x1 silver bricks. But that is not a problem.
