    I have bought EV3 Education for $323 - which for Poland seems to be quite good price. Do you think that IR Beacon and sensor will be soon available via S@H? I know that they are available on bricklink, but bricklink will not accept my VIP points :P

    Ha! I have said that already in this topic :). After the plane is released they will have all the panels ready :)

    It is not available anymore. It is a bit weird because from what customer support lady told me it was supposed to be available till the end of October.

    For me the building process was awesome - in terms of fun I would place it right behind the 8258. There are few cool techniques that I have not seen before (having built 8110, 8258, 8285, 41999). So it is fun AND good-looking :). My only concern regarding the plane is that it will be too similar to 9396 in terms of how building process looks.

    9396 was cool so that is not a bad thing - it will also suit those who care about the scale of models ;). And also it has tones of white panels! And it is a plane!

    I would love to see it in refreshed PF+studless version.

    I would personally vote for big scale space shuttle - it would be relatively fresh (not yellow construction machine again) - and it could easily be made of 2.5k-3k parts.

    I would add 9396 to this list. It is a great set - and it will probably look cool with 1h2014 cargo plane.

    That is correct. There where 2 releases of 8285 - with and without metallic wheels. Not sure why TLG played it that way though.

    Waste of space - true - but that makes it such a good base for modding! Honestly - I have bought one just for the silver wheels
