  1. Well it means that you will get everything from your order that is available - in most cases it will be Mini Mech :P
  2. Any news after weekend? My order is still "In process"/"Backordered"
  3. Fiber optics from 8480 are really hard to find...
  4. I will add a switch and mount two pairs of lights to this switch :)
  5. 8480 Space Shuttle! I hope Lego will be reasonable and make a new studless version.
  6. [Funny thing is that shop.lego.com is down. Too many FOLs refreshing their order status pages? :D]
  7. You may also build some attachments to this tractor in the future (trailers, mowers etc.)
  8. The Support lady stated so - I believe some of the orders are being cancelled because the credit cards cannot be charged, or the limits are exceeded. "Manually" was also a word that she used.
  9. Let's not make a bigger mess in review thread: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=85358 <- separate thread for questions/answers/concerns regarding S@H orders
  10. I start this thread not to mess 41999 review or 2h2013 threads anymore. What we know so far*: 1. Placing a first order ever in S@H triggers extended procedure of payment verification - and in effect it delays shipping 2. "Backtracked" order status means that you will (almost for sure - but I do not know every case) receive your set after 22nd of August - then the second batch will be ready for shipping 3. If you have placed an order in the morning or later - when the "Out of stock" information was already there - there is a high possibility that you will not get your set - you need to verify this by calling Customer Support and giving them your order number 4. Lego employees are manually verifying every order - and they started at 7am (1st of August) - so number of sets left for potential "daylight"/"next day" buyers is not yet known. *Based on few emails to Customer Support, one call and experience of other buyers - might not be an objective and unquestionable truth Please feel free to spam this thread with your questions, case descriptions - share your knowledge to help and comfort your fellow 41999 fans :)
  11. I am missing queue - that is why my set will be shipped on the 22nd of August (+1-9 business days for delivery) :(
  12. I have spoken with a nice lady from Customer Support. I have asked her a question: Q: Why is my order still in preliminary phase ("Customer Service" / "Backordered") and I missed first batch - even though I was one of the first to place it near midnight. A: Because it was your first order in S@H - what causes a special extended procedure of payment verification. That is the whole story... Sad because I have to wait 3 weeks for my set - but at least I know why.
  13. There is no rule - I have ordered mine at night on 1st of August - 0:33 CET (almost 8h earlier than you) - and it got marked as "Backordered" even though they have charged my credit card already :/
  14. This is actually a great idea - shame that Lego did not think about it in the first place.
  15. I do not understand this - why those prices are so low in comparison to other countries? What is more - they of course get free shipping - intercontinental one. Logic must have overslept.
  16. I would suggest 4 sets: 9396 Helicopter - it is a great set in terms of functionality even without PF - but it has also a great potential to include some serious PF functions. Nice parts diversity should also be mentioned. And the price is not so high. 8110 Unimog - get it while you still can (in a decent price). Great mix of PF and pneumatics - it is a great base for your own original MOCs and for extension MOCs. Tons of cool parts (springs, pneumatics, hubs, panels etc.) 42009 Crane Mk II - It is big! It is impressive. It comes with a lot of useful parts for original MOCs. It also has a potential for improvements such as adding more PF. Those where the sets that are easy to get. And now it's time for... 8258 Crane Truck - for me it is the BEST SET EVER (I know I know - I did not have a space shuttle). It looks great, it has tricky mechanisms (so much fun to build!), it leaves place for extension with PF - and it also provides you with a great part inventory for MOCs. Shame is that it is hard to get in a decent price.
  17. I have just emailed them with a question how should this "Backordered" be interpreted.
  18. Woah! I also have "backordered" even though I have ordered as one of the first around (so has stated message from Customer Support) :/
  19. I have asked Customer Support about the shipping date and they replied that sets will be shipped in chronological order - as I was one of the first to place an order I will get my set within 9 business days
  20. I wonder why irish price was only $159.99 :|
