  1. A Takodana set would definitely be interesting! I love the 2016 set, but a larger version with more of the side characters would be great to see! And a TIE Whisper would be an excellent choice too! Kinda baffling we didn‘t have one back in 2019/20.
  2. I doubt it‘s just some marketing person calling the shots here. The list of license partners comes from higher up in the foodchain. It‘s not like Jeff from marketing randomly saw the mech and decided to add TLG to the list for the announcement he personally put together
  3. If it‘s the ST generally, I‘ll say two words. Babu. FRIK. With TROS Palpy off the list, he‘s now my number one guy! If it‘s TFA specifically, maybe a remake of Poe‘s X-Wing?
  4. Alternative setname: 76300 Eurobricks DC thread 400€ is kinda crazy tho!
  5. I don‘t believe that for a second. There was a press release about TLG being one of the licensees for Superman! And don‘t tell me they meant the mech. The announcement was specifically made in the context of the movie
  6. Why of all things should a TROOPER be exclusive to a set that isn‘t a battlepack? They‘re supposed to be massable! The other four minifigs in that set are not only much likelier to be remain exclusive, it also makes a lot more sense for them Also, my movie ranking: ROTJ TLJ RO TESB ROTS TFA ANH Solo TROS TPM AOTC Plus the live-action show ranking: Mando S2 Ahsoka Mando S1 Mando S3 Obi-Wan TBOBF Andor The Acolyte And the animated show ranking: TCW TBB Rebels Resistance
  7. Nope, otherwise we‘d be talking about them
  8. Oh, I thought it was an actual line in the script But still, Hux becoming a lightsaber-collecting weirdo is in there and the existence of Tor Valum would have been a huge retcon of the rule of two, among other things!
  9. With a Poe and Rey romance that comes out of nowhere, Plagueis being retconned, and Hux turning into a knock-off Grievous, committing seppuku with a lightsaber, saying „we lost the star war“?! YES, FINALLY!!
  10. I could call this the Luigi‘s Pizzeria of Star Wars, but I‘m not gonna be that mean Who would such a set be aimed at though? We don‘t tend to get vehicles that are not featured in any action scenes.
  11. @CloneCommando99: I knew someone was gonna put together a list They’d release 20 OT TIE fighters & Imperial shuttles before even considering doing ones based on Andor. What kid cares about drab-looking bases or a prison? Things like the Arrestor cruiser had way too little screentime to justify a playset. If you say Quadjumper (which ironically appeared in the show), that was for TFA, which cannot be compared to anything that came since, hype- and merch-wise. The TIE Reaper was way more prominent in Rogue One.
  12. Agreed. I still think this wasn‘t a draft of the set we ended up with, but rather the prototype of a cancelled playset. That of courses raises the question why it was the only set like that when the other preliminary pictures were very close to their finalised counterparts
  13. You gotta watch more movies then If you truly think that, you have never seen a really bad movie Andor is the least toyetic Star Wars show or movie out there though. What can they really do from S1 besides the Fondor?
  14. There has? First I‘m hearing about rumours of a second Andor set Or was it that Gambit fraud?
  15. Damn, another TLJ fan in the wild!! It also ranks very highly in my personal list The throne room fight scene lives in my head rent-free There were some BrickHeadz before that had set numbers in other set ranges (like the Mando & Grogu one), but generally, BrickHeadz have their own number range
  16. Noooooooo!! I wanted to strike him down personally!
  17. I really enjoyed the movie too, despite the super-weak villain and how poorly it connected to Secret Invasion (but the latter is more to blame for that, not exactly helped by it being the only MCU show/movie I actively disliked) The Hoopty is a great set with a not-so-great price! And having all three characters share the same accessory pack when their powers are so closely associated with specific colours was pretty lazy. For sure. Also, how come we have two Shazam movies that basically both have the same post-credits scene?! I wanted Mr Mind as the main antagonist of the sequel, not a bunch of Greek goddesses (no offense to the actresses!) That‘s what you call anecdotal evidence. A product can sell well in one place and poorly in another. You cannot extrapolate too much from such data. The fact we‘re still getting new ones means they sell at least decently overall!
  18. I‘m still hopeful for that as well, unlikely as it is! What a weird precedent when a live-action SW show of all things doesn‘t get at least one set! And no matter what you think of the show, I think we can all agree at least that Qimir and Sol need minifigs …30th anniversary figures in case they‘ll celebrate that?
  19. When‘s the execution scheduled? I don‘t have all day!
  20. That list has gotten veryyyyy short for me in the last 6 years At this point, all I want is Shrek (which got a bit more likely now), Kirby, and the return of SpongeBob. Everything else I've ever wanted has been done! Given how they teased the Minions and Trolls themes very publicly, I wouldn't be surprised if they made that kind of announcement again. It's another Universal license, after all!
  21. He's only taking a break! But given how things went the last time he was cited to the principal's office, I wouldn't hold out much hope for your little green friend
  22. DON‘T MESS WITH THE SITH!! Seriously though, it wasn‘t me
  23. Fair point. No matter how close the costumes are to the animated counterparts, it will likely be rather obvious which version the minifigs are based on
  24. Good to hear! So yeah, all the „controversy“ was for naught Have a little faith, guys
  25. Yeah, usually with new movie IPs they would release a wave based on the older instalments before doing another one based on the new entry, but that‘s kinda tricky when the latter is a reboot Also, as @Black Falcon points out, they‘ve deviated from this formula a bit. Neither Indy, nor Trolls or Despicable Me followed it, with Indy not getting sets based on the new movie, and the other two not having any sets focussing on the previous movies. The last new movie license to follow the classic formula was Avatar. If the movie designs don‘t differ too much, I could see them making it a bit ambiguous on purpose, even though the packaging will likely be a dead give-away
