Wizarding World 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
$250 for the tower is kinda insane, that‘s in D2C territory! The herbology classroom is also a lot larger than expected while Fawkes will be miniscule Also, impressive how someone here recently called it that the Book Nook would feature the Hogwarts Express! -

Definitely not, as the movie has been postponed to October 2026 and it‘s not even clear yet if it‘ll ready by then -

…at least we have sets based on The Batman II to look forward to. Maybe. -

The 2HY set list, courtesy of @Lego_Minecraft_Goat: 43257 Angel ($59.99) 43258 {Princess} ($99.99) 43264 Toy Story Celebration Train & RC car (4+, $39.99) 43267 Disney Castle and Royal Pets ($119.99) 43274 Minnie‘s Pet Hotel (4+, $39.99) 43278 Mini Arendelle Castle & Elsa‘s Ice Palace Pretty interesting list! Didn‘t have a random Toy Story set and the return of the Mickey and Friends subtheme (unless that‘s a one-off) on my bingo card! Angel is not unexpected, but I hope her appearance as a buildable figure doesn‘t mean she also takes one of the minifig spots in the L&S house set that should go to Jumba and Pleakley! -

And here‘s the 2HY set list, courtesy of @Lego_Minecraft_Goat: 21274 The Warden Encounter ($19.99) 21275 The Jungle TNT House ($29.99) 21276 The Creeper ($39.99) 21277 The Pickaxe Mine ($54.99) 21278 The Pillager Outpost and Ravager ($79.99) 21279 The Enderman Tower ($99.99) 21280 {unknown} ($49.99) Sounds like a neat list! A warden in a cheap set is welcome and I can‘t say no to more pillagers! Too bad there‘s no set based on the Pale Garden, unless that‘s what 21280 is 21277 seems to be a companion to last year‘s Sword Outpost! -

Also, I feel the chances for new characters or variants are very slim with this wave, besides Marge of course. QQS could come with new random shopkeepers/shoppers and the Main Tower may feature new students and/or a new house ghost, but beyond that? Then again, we are at a point with this theme where we’re genuinely getting close to running out of characters -

The summer set list consists of the following sets, according to Bricktap: 76445 Herbology Class 76448 Dumbledore’s Phoenix 76449 Monster Book of Monsters 76450 Book Nook 76451 Aunt Marge‘s Visit 76452 QQS & „Ice Cream“ 76454 Hogwarts Main Tower Hmmmm. Not sure what to think of that list. There are just so many remakes! -

If not even Superman can get any sets, it‘s truly over. We‘re stuck with Batman for all eternity -

While those could be pretty exciting, I hope the rumoured „long-awaited“ minifigs go beyond just that That one doesn‘t count since it‘s a specific character -

Ironic, considering we‘re talking about Supes here I refuse to believe they were referring to the mech in the press announcement. Not only does the set get released half a year before the movie does, it has no movie branding, which it should have to count as a tie-in I‘ve never before seen a product that was advertised as a movie tie-in and didn‘t have the movie’s branding. Sometimes you do see tie-ins where the product has little to do with the movie, but at the very least it features the correct logo! So, until we have the full set lists for every theme, I‘m still hoping for at least one set. -

Yeah, I think we can expect these two sets to be very similar in style to the two Simba ones this year, so no moulded figures -

Omitting SM-33 was a mistake, especially since additional sets are very unlikely! If they do end up releasing another set, they should definitely focus on the pirates! -

Since the leakers seem to be rather confident about the set not being the Fondor, both of these are really good candidates! -

Regarding the last two reveals: Nothing too exciting here, but I still appreciate both sets! The exterior of the Flying Lesson looks neat while the interior leaves something to be desired. The minifigs are pretty unspectacular, as expected The Knight Bus looks good, even though I prefer the 2019 version. Where did the Dre Head go tho? -

Finally a zombified Piglin!! What took em so long? The armadillos look great too, as do the Breezes(?), the brown Mooshroom, and the new skins! My favourite build is the Mooshroom House. They just never miss with the mob houses! -

Glad to hear there‘s at least one Death Trooper coming in the Night Trooper BP! Maybe that‘s why they didn‘t release that set this year, so they could kill two birds with one helmet -

Good one I should‘ve realised MK is also an abbreviation for Mortal Kombat, Mario Kart, and likely other franchises I meant Monkie Kid ^^ I think the arm prints got better with later versions, but I agree overall it‘s still the best version! -

The Hagrid Bike set counts, despite not being minifig-scale How about the 2001 set with Quirrell or the upcoming Malfoy Manor? Granted, Dobby technically dies outside of the Shell Cottage, but he gets mortally wounded at MM! And I‘m sure there are even more examples -

Yes, they are! We‘ve known for a while they‘re coming because they‘ll be in other sets (like one of the MK ones) and they were recently patented. There was an article on either Promobricks or Stonewars a while back that looked at these pieces, among others -

I like both sets, but I‘m disappointed they didn‘t use the BTS hairpiece on Lockhart. Great figure otherwise! -

I assume you refer to the „every unmade CT“ part? Sure, most of them are canon, but not all of them would be that exciting to get Also, I‘m not saying a minifig is not exciting at all just by virtue of not being canon. As others have pointed out, we just had Malak, and that was a great addition! My point was more that I could provide entire lists of missing canon characters that are way more exciting to me than any Legends character. -

How nice of them to include a pair of knives in the set so we can recreate *that* scene Oh, you‘re right!! It wasn‘t sure anymore which one came first
