Disney Properties 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

Love the set! Interesting choice to use the dreamling piece for the doll If only it included Jumba and Pleakley, but at least they could still feature them in another set if this one does well! -

Funnily enough, he‘s one of the few examples of a fictional character working for CPS who‘s portrayed as sympathetic Sounds like the set will include a lot of references and easter eggs, just like it‘s spiritual precursor, the Up house! -
DC Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

True, but so far all LEGO tie-in sets were at least somewhat related to the movies. Arguably the biggest outlier has been the aforementioned NWH wave, and even then they clearly marked on the box what two of the sets were inspired by and the third one at least featured the movie costumes and a relevant location (albeit with creative liberties). Announcing movie tie-in products only to then release a small comic-inspired set is entirely unprecedented. Yeah, we were warned, but it‘s still a silly notion they‘d simply skip a highly anticipated movie like that, but here we are I suppose it’s because previous risks hadn‘t paid off, but it‘s still gobsmacking to me they‘d invest a ton of money into themes like Angry Birds, Trolls, Minions, Gabby etc. but not into Soup, which wouldn‘t even really require any new pieces. A Soup movie should not be seen as riskier than any of the above. -

2013 was when the superheroes themes peaked with that set along with the Mandarin’s flaming golfkart of doooooom Fair point. The more annoying issue is that WB/DC don‘t seem to care, as evidenced by that stupid press release tricking us into thinking we‘d get sets -

Good one All that‘s missing is a jar of Granny‘s peach tea. Side note, the Soup teaser has broken quite a few records, I‘ve heard. Someone at TLG might start to think they bet on the be wrong horse by skipping the movie, unless they‘re really banking on the mech set becoming super popular Part of me is still hoping for sets at a later point (if the movie does well), but they‘ve never before outright skipped a movie only to release tie-in sets after the fact. Not impossible, but unprecedented. Even with No Way Home, they still at least had one set somewhat based on the movie on shelves when the movie got released, with proper sets being made later-on. -

Yeah, that‘d be much better than yet another one based on the Battle of Kashyyyk! Still no clue how they‘re gonna do it at that price point. Since it’s a 7+ set rumoured to have minifigs, it can‘t be part of the midiscale collection and it‘s too large for a new gimmicky microfighter-style subtheme -

I get why the Endgame final battle has so many sets based on it, but could they at least TRY to include some new characters (or variants)? Kraglin for instance is right there!! Or a Chitauri gorilla. Still hoping for a new helmet piece for Thanos at least, but that‘s probably in vain since the leaked description doesn‘t mention it (and it does mention Hulk‘s helmet in the other set) -

The polybag isn‘t much to write home about, but it has some nice parts at least! Poor Ron though. Will he ever appear in a polybag?! -

David and Bubbles are welcome additions, but Jumba and Pleakley being absent is a pretty big letdown Still looking forward to the set though! -

If done well, this could end up as one of my favourite sets this year, and that‘s saying something with all the other rumours! L&S is just super nostalgic to me, and one of my favourites among the early 2000s Disney movies. Too bad some of the others like Atlantis and Treasure Planet don‘t get much love despite having garnered cult followings as well! -

Yeah, we definitely need more sets like that! Plus more Death Eaters. Too bad they stopped with the blister packs a couple of years ago, so we have to hope for either battle-pack-style sets or a new type of gimmicky minifig-centric set -

Interesting choice! I was certain they‘d go for the TOS Enterprise & Crew, so this is quite a surprise! A welcome one tho -

There is, namely 30707 Venom‘s Museum Heist Very unlikely to feature anything of interest, except for some artefact(s) for Venom to steal maybe NO WAY they‘re skipping an Avengers movie. Yeah, they have skipped shows and even movies recently (RIP Superman), but certainly not something of that caliber. -

The 18+ Pixar set being based on Toy Story would make a lot of sense! Not sure what they could do at that price point though… I feel a Pizza Planet truck or RC 18+ model would cost way more than $70. Maybe it‘s Woody‘s or Buzz‘ head? -

As much as I liked The Batman and the sets based on it, 2022 will be hard to beat in terms of being the absolute lowest point of the theme Between the Batcave and Arkham, we still have a decent chance for something interesting next year, at least enough to beat 2022-24! Personally, I‘d argue the Supes mech alone puts 2025 ahead of the last few years, but I see why some would disagree. -

New moulded pieces appear in sets of all sizes though. Quite a few battlepacks and even Microfighters had them before! With all the recent rumours, I wonder how many 2HY sets we still don‘t know about yet. Can‘t be that many, right? -

Yes, we got a figure list thanks to a leaked product description! I guess we‘ll know once that drops -
PotC returning and a Star Trek set?! If true, 2025 is gonna be even more of a killer year for LEGO than I thought before! So we have PotC, Horizon, and the Simpsons returning, plus One Piece, Bluey, and Star Trek as new IPs. Wow

Sounds plausible, but I‘d prefer a super tactical droid and some CIS leadership over the CTs By far the best case scenario would be a set based on the Ryloth arc with Wat Tambor and Cham Syndulla, as some have suggested. They could even sneak in a reference to the arc of the covenant! -

What‘d be wrong with it being a TAS set? The minifig potential is pretty much the same as if it were a comic-based set Also, what‘d be more „colourful“ about a comic-based version? The 2013 one was pretty grey too -

I have to agree that some of the rumours sound a bit fishy since we’ve recently had two fake rumours involving the 327th (first a headhunter and then the swamp speeder BP), so it could be someone trying to go for a hattrick Assuming the list is real though: I‘m far from being a Clone Bro, but having the 327th and Galactic Marines in the same wave is pretty amazing! That said, after that, I hope that‘s it with CTs for a while Other factions need some love too! Having so many TCW sets in one year is kinda odd in general, but I‘ll take it since it‘s a lot of new stuff! We‘ve never had Ahsoka‘s Eta-JSF, a CIS MTT, or an UT-AT before I know a lot of people are displeased with 2025‘s offerings, but personally I‘m pretty satisfied! TROS Palpy, more Night Troopers, Galactic Marines, and, if we‘re lucky, Bacara, Bly, and a new CIS higher-up like Wat Tambor were all pretty high on my wishlist!
