That list was just for revived parts TCW Ahsoka‘s updated head-tails piece uses the same mould as the Mandoverse one tho, they didn‘t revive the 2008 piece

Correct, that’s what the current rumours say! Seems like they‘re releasing all the movie-tie ins a bit closer to release this year than usual (see JW Rebirth) with only one month in-between, rather than the usual three

Now that we know more about the minifigs, I wonder if the 327th BP is based on TCW or RotS. Not that it matters overall, but I display the TCW sets in a different section of my room than the PT sets Before, I was sure it goes with the RotS stuff, but now? The packaging won‘t help much either since all Clone stuff has the same branding, regardless of origin…

The leakers have hinted at it having the blue TCW colour scheme from the beginning, so there‘s little to no hope

Currently in sets: 1 (Phase 2 Clone Pilot helmet, last seen in 2014) Strongly rumoured: 1 (Death Trooper helmet, last seen in 2017) Very likely: 3 (K2’s torso & head and Ventress‘ lightsabers, both last seen in 2016, plus Ki-adi Mundi‘s cranium, AWOL since 2018)

There are three sets coming in August, so we can expect at least 5 new characters I‘d say The low number of minifigs per set is the only thing that‘s holding the theme back for me, but at least we‘re getting very few repeats! As for the rumour mill, Nintendo sets tend to get rumours very late, but are among the first to be officially revealed, ironically We also know nothing about the Mario sets, besides the already announced Gameboy model.

I completely forgot about my own budget argument when I said reintroduced parts didn’t count. The Clone rage must‘ve scrambled my brain But even if you do count them, the number still pales in comparison. Last year saw the return of many pieces in the Sailbarge, and the years before we also had returning pieces, like the Gamorrean in 2022. Anyway, as I said before, the number of new pieces is obviously not the main indicator for how good a wave is. After all, the 2HY sets of 2021 were great despite a low number of them! The way I see it, it just makes an already disappointing wave even less special. But now that we do have a clearer picture of what to expect, I‘ll try to focus on the positives

Nah. With a Tactical Droid, it‘d have been a solid 7. Add Wat Tambor, then we‘d be in 9+ territory! As it stands, it‘s a 5/10 for me. Burn me at the stake for my blasphemy, Clone Bros, but Bly and Aayla should‘ve been in the 327th set instead. At $40, it‘s not a BP anyway There‘s still one unknown set. At this point, I wouldn‘t be surprised if it was another Clone ship Then my wrath will be fully unleashed.

Indeed. Initially, I was happy to hear it was based on TCW, but I‘m taking it back They wasted the minifig potential completely! Plo, yes, Death Troopers, no. I don‘t count reintroduced moulds that are virtually identical as new. And even so, the last few years would still wipe the floor with 2025 So we have Plo, the Clone Pilot, Bacara, and Dedra who might have new pieces. Out of those, only Plo‘s head is pretty much guaranteed to be new since they don‘t do rubbery heads like that anymore. They could cheapen out with the pilot and the latter two aren‘t even confirmed to appear in their respective set yet!

Last year, we had 9, in 2023 we saw 8, 10 in 2022, 4 in 2021, and 8 in 2020. So it‘s fluctuating quite a bit, but only 1 has to be a new record (and even that is an assumption, it could be 0 in the end) Maybe they got a pretty severe budget cut? The buildable figures, helmets, and midiscale ships are far cheaper to produce since they require fewer resources than sets loaded with new minifig parts, recolours, and prints. Clone Troopers also mostly only require new prints. They could likely even get away with Bacara not having a new helmet piece

Indeed. The only things this year that even remotely excite me are the Night Trooper BP and TROS Palpy. The U-Wing could be interesting perhaps, but that heavily depends on the minifigs. Everything else is just plain boring, despite some new vehicles and long overdue remakes

…are you kidding me?! That MTT minifig selection is absolutely pathetic. Not even a tactical droid or anything? Sad to say, but 2025 is now by far my least favourite LSW year. The MTT & „Turbo Tank“ could have been the saving grace minifig-wise, but of course they‘re as boring as the rest. Unless you‘re a Clone Bro, there‘s just nothing exciting here. The new characters are all clones and maybe that Duros (Jedi Cad Bane?) from the RTG set. Must be the cheapest year for them too with only a single new minifig mould (Bacara‘s helmet, unless they cheapen out in this regard too). Have we ever had a year with only a single new minifig piece?! 2026 has to be better than this with the Mando & Grogu movie sets.

Right, I forgot about Yavin! But yeah, both original sets are way too old now for the released versions to be considered „uncancelled“ There has to be a reason they brought the helmets back after the subtheme seemingly having been axed. Reminds me of the „death“ of Brickheadz!

Yeah, neither of them would make much sense. The tower should be a mostly vertical model and thus have a rather small footprint, so I think an inclusion of the chamber of secrets (and thus the Basilisk) in that set can be ruled out. The chamber deserves its own set! Fluffy can also be ruled out for that set since I highly doubt they‘d dedicate two consecutive flagship castle sections to the same film. PoA, GoF, and OotP would all be far better candidates in my opinion. I‘ve made my case for OotP before, but I‘d also be pretty happy with the former two

Kinda silly though how they had the budget to give a book-exclusive minifig a printed cyborg arm, while poor Bucky got the short end of the stick Also, I still find it hard to believe that Ultron‘s not included in the Quinjet. There‘s no other AoU set in that wave, and the only suitable mooks to include are Ultron sentries. Including a sentry or two without Ultron anywhere would make little sense to me. Unless they leave out the sentries too and treat Quicksilver as the antagonist in that set, but that‘d be a bit far-fetched

What I‘m wondering build-wise is how they make it stable, especially at this scale. Likely a fortified technic skeleton? Whatever they do, it has to be better than Megablocks‘s model, where they cheated by creating a huge blocky specialised element

Since the minifig list likely won’t be that exciting, I was wondering what new animals or creatures we can expect this summer With the new long-fur cat piece we could finally see a proper Crookshanks! Ripper is pretty much a given. We already have a bulldog piece (two, if you count the French breed), but it’s still a neat addition! Fingers crossed for a new owl colour! I also wouldn‘t mind to see the dark tan smowl introduced last year in a Friends set. Curiously, it‘s not friendsified at all and could thus easily reappear here If the Monster Book of Monsters is a Polly-Pocket-style playset rather than a display model, we could get some (brick-built?) creatures this way! A „full-body“ Mandrake could be interesting! Some have suggested the Dreamling piece, and even though it‘s pretty oversized for that, it‘s a distinct possibility.

Idk, it‘s just hard for me to get excited over hobbits with very little screentime when we could finally get characters we‘ve been aching to see, like Eowyn or the Witch-King of Angmar It‘s a great idea to revisit the Shire, don‘t get me wrong, but I‘d rather have had Minas Tirith / The Battle of the Pelennor Fields first, and Bag End after that

That is indeed rather odd, even more so considering it‘s not only the sole helmet, but the only SW set in general released in March Also, this may be the first ever „uncancelled“ set! Unless they redesigned it entirely from scratch, making it a new set technically. Edit: And the UT-AT would be the second „uncancelled“ set then! Although that one‘s definitely a completely new model, given how long ago the cancelled one was supposed to hit shelves.
