What‘s more likely: that a HP D2C just happens to be the only set (besides a Marvel D2C) to somehow completely fly under the radar, despite all the other D2C sets already being known (including ones scheduled for November), or that it simply doesn‘t exist? Sure, it‘s still possible there is one, but I wouldn‘t count on it. -

Not sure how fun it was for the people handling TLG‘s social media accounts, and I wouldn‘t be surprised if some people pestered store employees as well My issue with movements like these is that it inflates some people’s giant egos even more. Not to single out Mandr too much, he just serves as an example here, but he seems to have gained a sizeable ego after „his“ campaign was successful. So much so that he claimed he was „cheated“ when the 250th Brickheadz was Ahsoka rather than Jar Jar, believing he had enough of a following to sway the vote. -
Animal Crossing - Rumors & Discussion

Fingers crossed the largest of the three sets will be the museum I also hope they‘ll add more insects and sealife to the sets. A lot of the former could easily be realised with printed 1x1 round tiles in clear! -
Latest news about Lego animal moulds

My top 3 favourites are the current cat piece, the smowl, and the otter! The runner-ups include the red panda, the mouse (the CMF one), the koala, and the baby seal. What I want the most are raccoons, a new frog piece, and kangaroos. I know, sacrilege! The old frog piece is an absolute classic and should not be discontinued, also to keep the running gag alive But I‘d still like to see a modernised piece with printing, e.g. to allow for poison dart frogs to be made!- 5,849 replies

Wizarding World 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
My thoughts exactly! OotP has plenty of memorable scenes and locations to justify a large castle expansion. The fact we‘ve had multiple Umbridge minifigs, but are still missing her office is kinda silly. Even the microscale Hogwarts featured it! That said, as much as I want it, I don’t see them dedicating the largest Hogwarts playset ever released to OotP I‘m fully expecting it to be based on CoS again, and maybe be pleasantly surprised if it‘s based on any of the following instalments instead At least we‘ll know as soon as the minifig list drops! -

Indeed! The Lovegood‘s house would make for a cool set I think. Xenophilius is one of the more prominent characters still missing, more Death Eater minifigs are always welcome, and if they could somehow incorporate the Tale of the Three Brothers into the set, it could be a pretty popular one! Not gonna happen anytime soon, but one can hope -

We could still get one, but considering we already know about the ones scheduled for autumn (like the Death Star, Black Pearl, and Enterprise) and haven‘t heard a single thing about a new HP one, I‘d say it‘s fairly unlikely Indeed. The Main Tower basically fills the role of a D2C set, minus the exclusivity and 18+ label -

Screentime isn‘t everything though. DH2 may have the shortest time spent at Hogwarts (besides DH1 of course), but the events that unfold are much more significant (and set-worthy) than a lot of Hogwarts scenes in the other movies -

There was also the Republic Frigate in 2011 that came with Yoda, Eeth Koth, & Quinlan Vos, and the Jedi shuttle (also in 2011) that came with Obi-wan, Anakin, Saesee Tiin, & Shaak Ti Having that many Jedi in a set is quite the anomaly nowadays, but that's not really a bad thing. For the kiddos, it’s probably preferable to have Jedi spread across smaller sets (like the 2018 BP) than multiple in a larger one ^^ -

We never had a year where 90% of the playsets were based on the same subtheme though And they dropped the ball on the minifig selection of some of the sets as well, which we can judge even without pictures. Clone Bros ate way better in the last 10 years that non-Clone Bros eat this year -

There was a huge Ninjago mech last year with a single minifig, which also seemed like madness, so you never know 3 seems awfully low, but we can‘t rule it out, I‘m afraid. At least there‘s a (quick)silver lining! -

Exactly, and the MTT is the worst offender here. Finally a large CIS vehicle again since what, the Malevolence in 2012?! And the main stars are a Clone Commander and a Jedi that clearly should‘ve been included in the 327th set Even if one of the BDs is actually a (Super) Tactical Droid, that‘s still rather underwhelming when we could‘ve had Wat Tambor or a new Dooku. -

And there‘s the eeny-beeny-teeny-tiny problem that TT Games don’t seem to work on any LEGO games. Ever since they lost the exclusivity, there haven‘t even been rumours of a new game, and it‘s been like 2 years (the recently surfaced 007 game that never existed doesn‘t count, it was only a pitch) -

Sure, but PoA, GoF, and OotP still have plenty of that, despite the darker tone And it’s not like PS/CoS are all whimsical and innocent Harry outright murders Quirrell with his bare hands, and it looks agonising! In CoS, we have magical blood writings on the walls, and the poor basilisk gets absolutely butchered! I‘m not advocating for all 8 movies to be represented equally in number of sets, that would make little sense. I‘m merely suggesting to have at least one large castle section being based on anything other than the first two instalments. I‘d like something like that! We need more Gambledore minifigs asap. -

Oh I will, but I‘m still not happy with the constellation And I still think the MTT has the weakest minifig selection of the bunch So much wasted potential with that one! Was that even a rumour to begin with? I thought it was mere speculation. Having two Stormies instead of Death Troopers would be kind of dumb since we already know the helmet is coming back -

I was Balance is the magic word here. Each of these sets is a great idea in its own right with new vehicles, long-requested minifigs, and desirable remakes. The problem is putting them all in the same wave. If those same sets were spread across multiple years, I imagine few people would complain. The way it is, it‘s just incredibly one-sided. The last time we had a one-sided year like that was in 2008, and that made sense since TCW was brand-new. (I mean playset-wise. 2025 isn‘t one-sided at all if you factor in all the 18+ sets) -

Does it actually require any new pieces? I can‘t think of anything beyond a different hobbit hairpiece maybe, so that they don‘t all have the same silhouette. Or perhaps a new hair-hat combo piece for Gandalf! But neither of them is a necessity -

Now I‘m wondering whether at least one of the summer sets might also be based on the movie. The two March sets cover all the main characters, but I wouldn‘t mind to have skeletons, creepers, cows, sheep, and llamas in the movie style as well -

BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I hope not, as I‘m just sick of PS/CoS-based castle expansions They can still include a house ghost and a common room and what not, but would it kill them to give the other 75% of the movies some love too? I‘m grateful for the GoF, OotP, HBP, and DH sets we got so far, but they‘re still vastly overshadowed by the other three movies. -

Yeah, most students can very easily be recreated with existing parts, so they don‘t really count in my book. I wouldn‘t be surprised if a student ends up being the only „new“ character in the 2HY sets …unless they include the Bloody Baron in the tower, but I absolutely don‘t want yet another PS-based expansion -

At least it‘s not a Clone shi… WAIT A SEC. It‘s the ship piloted by the donor of the Clones, hanging out on the home planet of the Clones and the cloner species who created them, his copilot is a clone, the set is a smaller clone of a UCS set, and the ship is famous for escaping from Obi-Wan, who some fans in the 80s believed to be a clone (look it up). Are the Clone Bros holding the design team‘s families hostage?! …aslume, here I come -

If that rumour was true, why did leakers claim the secrecy was understandable? To avoid self-cannibalism? That makes no sense since we might already have some images of the August wave by the time the UCS Slave One gets released And 40 minifigs in the DS?! Yeah, sure. If it wasn‘t Maxbaut, I‘d dismiss it immediately.
