  1. Not sure how If they had planned another set before the film was delayed, we probably would‘ve heard about it. And as the first film of phase 4, it’s not part of the Infinity Saga, so that‘s off the table too
  2. The original faceprint with a grey moustache was included in the truck chase set, and a recolored version was indeed used for that mechanic
  3. Allegedly, it‘s Peach’s castle in microscale () but without any minifigs (). Take it with a grain of salt though, no reliable leaker has confirmed it yet
  4. Honestly, pretty much all of them were They‘ve definitely aged well, just like good ol‘ Ford himself Though some of the minifigs didn‘t, so that‘s certainly the biggest area of improvement in my book. It‘s funny to me how some of the minifigs could be rereleased pretty much unchanged nowadays (Mola Ram, the guy that gets steamrolled), while others are severly outdated in their design (Stupido with 2006!Bruce Wayne face or 2004!J.J.J. cosplaying as a nazi soldier twice) or stick out like a sore thumb (Marion, Willie, and Elsa with their blue eyes )
  5. I don‘t think the release date has ever been confirmed, but given how busy October and November appear to be, August or September does seem likely. In that case, we should indeed see it soon Since we haven‘t seen a single leak so far, pretty much ruling out a minifig-scale build, I guess it‘s either a model of a console again (but not a SNES) or a brick-built character
  6. Practically zero. We would've heard of it by now if there ever was to be one The Stranger Things tease that went nowhere sends its regards He was just talking about
  7. @Dean_09: Please consider using spoiler tags. Not everyone has seen the movie yet
  8. Thanks for clarifying I’m still curious about the amount of items included in the set (which would make speculation a lot easier ). My guess would be between 5 and 7, at various sizes, and one minifig each (plus the golden one of course). Is that even realistic?
  9. So the following is all we currently know about the D2C set, right? Price point of 250$ “Hogwarts Icon collection” Release not in September as initially thought, but later Multiple items that aren’t necessarily thematically linked At least one golden minifig Likely exclusive minifig(s) on top of that, given that minifig fans will apparently like the selection (unless that statement just refers to the golden minifig) Anything I’m missing?
  10. Has a remembrall been ruled out yet? That would explain the initial confusion The selection of objects does sound pretty random, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. At least in terms of the minifigs: the more varied the objects, the larger the potential for interesting variants
  11. It is. Sounds like Falconfan knows what’s coming Hm, that worries me a bit since the Dark Trooper BP we’re all expecting may not be as certain as we thought, if the entire list is “not even close”
  12. I’ve just checked the comments on the original post and Falconfan almost immediately debunked it, so this whole thread is entirely pointless
  13. Thanks I hope the crown/diadem thingie is removable, so the gator can double as a juvenile
  14. Ohh, I like that choice Definitely more fitting than the Seinfeld hairpiece
  15. Granted, this isn’t the wishlist-iest fake rumour list I’ve ever seen, not by a long shot, but there are still things on it that sound suspicious A BP with Dark Troopers AND a long-requested Incinerator Trooper? Beru and Boss Nass? PT Microfighters? Nah, not buying it. Besides, this list better not be accurate. Another Imp Crosshair would just be an insult
  16. We just did though The pickup truck gets released in October
  17. Yeah, fake If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is
  18. I thought there was supposed to be a polybag based on The Batman, in which case we won’t get to see it this year
  19. Agreed, I’m sure there will be DH sets at some point. I think some people just read the designer interview a bit too pessimistically. The main takeaway is that set ideas based on the first few films tend to make for better/more iconic toys, which is hard to argue against Therefore, I wouldn’t expect a full wave, but a small handful of sets sandwiched between other sets. A Gringotts D2C, Battle of Hogwarts playset and a small set based on DH part 1 (Malfoy Manor?) in combination with 4-5 sets based on the other 6 movies sounds like a pretty realistic wave to me
  20. Depends on who you ask I’m looking forward to it (and the minifigs in particular, even though they’re probably just variants), but it sounds like a lot of people won’t be happy with it Too bad most people don’t give a megablock about this set. I miss last year’s levels of D2C hype
  21. There was a misunderstanding though, there is no HP modular, it’s just this year’s D2C set LWC have edited their post shortly thereafter and removed that bit of information
  22. I think a SNES can be ruled out for more than one reason. First off, the TV. The NES model itself is amazing, don’t get me wrong, but the TV is what made that set so special. A SNES model without it would feel pretty lackluster in comparison. Secondly, as I’ve ranted about before, the US model is ugly as sin and the PAL/Japanese version is so different, they’d essentially be completely different models with next to no overlap if they decided to do a two-in-one Hm, hadn’t thought of that before, that would also be neat Not sure what style they would choose though. A megafig like the recent Harry and Hermione wouldn’t require a D2C set and could instead be released as a regular retail set Best-case scenario by far. $170 is a bit on the small side, but it could work. Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us!
  23. That’s not uncommon though. The only X-Wing sets for instance to include bad guys were the 4+ OT one and the 2016 ST version. A-Wing and Y-Wing sets also usually don’t include conflict (the exception being the RO Y-Wing). TIE fighters are often one-faction-only as well. Luke’s and Yoda’s huts also only feature spritual conflict
  24. The new Seinfeld hairpiece would work pretty well for Wormtail, wouldn’t it? At least way better than the Boromir hairpiece
  25. The Mando Forge leaked, and it looks great Can’t wait to see clearer images
