There is a $500 D2C Superheroes set on the horizon, according to recent rumours. Could it be for DC, considering we’re already getting a Marvel one in March?

Nonsense. It’s just a small set, but it stills takes time to come up with the concept, design the builds & the boxart and getting everything ready for production. The time window since August is way too small for that, and you can’t properly judge the success of a set after only a few months either

If they showed up in licensed themes, Ideas sets, Lunar New Year ones, the Creator Expert range, or a CMF series, I could easily display them, which would be preferable. Despite having a dedicated room and some space in the living room, I still don’t have enough space for any themes other than the ones listed above, unfortunately I think I’ll just bricklink them along with the new hairpieces and put them in the box where I keep all my special parts

The initial rumour said that two minifigs were supposed to be included; a customisable student and a teacher. So McGonagall could be included after all Showing a minifig from a different set in a reveal video wouldn’t make much sense anyway Oh, and RIP 2010 grey owl. With the new one in this set, I doubt the other one will return, making it the only post-2007 owl not to appear in the rebooted theme And what’s up with the anniversary logo? Sure, it’s probably there because it technically isn’t over yet, but it will be by the time the set is released

The video is a bit deceptive though. McGonagall and the sorting hat aren’t included, or are they? That’d make 6 minifigs
