  1. Also a possibility. I don’t think a film with tie-in sets has ever been moved forward before, so we have no basis for comparison Then again, I’d expect WB to inform their merchandising partners way ahead of the general public, so there should‘ve been enough time to rearrange schedules
  2. The film gets released in April, so we should've heard of tie-in sets by now Unless they get released in 2HY of course, but when was the last time sets for a new film have been released after the fact?
  3. Mikkelsen‘s Grindelwald looks so much better Finally, I can take him seriously, unlike that cockatoo Hoping for a set or two, unlikely as it is
  4. These are pretty amazing for 4+ sets! Just look at the amount of new moulds here: two new useful hairpieces, a new helmet for Rhino, web piece, Spider-bot (?) and that claw piece I also appreciate the use of mid-legs for most of the characters
  5. I was more thinking of the 20th, 30th and 40th anniversaries of the films, which were commemorated with a special logo on the packaging on more than one occassion Of course it mostly didn‘t directly translate into sets, I‘ll give you that
  6. Thanks for clarifying Moreover, TLG have not ignored any of the SW anniversaries so far and I assume AOTC is no different. The million dollar question though is how many sets we should expect. Just look at TPM's 20th anniversary with its single celebratory set Then again, TPM had to share its anniversary with the theme as a whole, so of course it got lost in the shuffle a bit
  7. Guys, we’re headed deeply into wishlist territory here I‘m with @Kdapt-Preacher, this could easily turn into breeding ground for fake rumours
  8. Well, at least this shows us what a $250 Gringotts could look like (even though I‘m still maintaining that a $120 set could work too, it doesn‘t have to be fully enclosed for instance)
  9. It’s not THAT similar though And even if it was, a Modular Building and a licensed D2C set don’t have the exact same target audience (significant overlaps notwithstanding).
  10. As long as we’re finally done with Hoth for a while then I get it, the Plague was defeated at the Battle of Hoth, Hoth brought us world peace, Hoth died for our sins. But can they please remember that other scenes and battles exist too?
  11. We don’t really have one for Marvel yet, except for the D2C set (and the delayed movie sets of course). So the only proper 2HY set lists at our disposal at the moment are Star Wars, Super Mario, Creator Expert, and Ideas. Last year, we got our HP set list very early (at the end of October I think), courtesy of @lego_guyon02. No idea when we will see it this time. I’d say around the toy fairs at the latest
  12. Once the consumer catalogue gets released Last year, that happened on December 6th
  13. Exactly, that’s also how I remember it. Makes sense, as the head designer you bear other responsibilities and don’t have that much time anymore to design sets. Good on him IMO, we need him on the front
  14. If I remember correctly, he announced beforehand that he’d later post his personal predictions, which must’ve been what you’ve seen Besides, if this was actual information, I’m sure it’d be all over IG by now
  15. You wouldn’t like me when I’m hungry… And I’m STARVING
  16. Gimme the list, I require nourishment True, but for me at least, the fun of speculating usually far outweighs any disappointment And speculating is a lot more entertaining to me once we have set numbers and prices. It just feels more tangible
  17. The prices of 4 upcoming Ideas sets have been leaked: 21333: $160 21334: $100 21335: $300 21337: $350 I wonder which is which Again, quite massive prices, especially 21337
  18. Good point, but I was more thinking of traditional battlepacks
  19. The only thing that disappoints me thus far is the lack of another battlepack, I was hoping there'd be a second one in the summer to make up for only one being released in January. We've had ones in 2HY before, but oh well
  20. More like 75336 and 75337 since Gunship sets have always been more costly than AT-TE ones I doubt they'd only downscale the Gunship Also, I wouldn't be so certain about the D2C set's price point. The other source said $350, which seems like a more "normal" price than $530. Maybe promobricks accidentally swapped two digits there
  21. Not all of these necessarily have to be 2HY releases I've just noticed Two of the set numbers were part of a rumour the other day of additional sets in May (75339 and 75342). And I imagine some of them will be released in September, like the Mando Forge this year
  22. Hm, wasn't 75323 originally supposed to be a 1HY set at $30 or so?
  23. The Star Wars 2HY set numbers and prices have just been leaked, so let’s hope HP follows soon Give us something to speculate on!
  24. And here we have the summer set list, courtesy of promobricks (numbers and prices only): 75323: $159.99 75331: $529.99 75332: $29.99 75333: $29.99 75334: $49.99 75335: $99.99 75336: $99.99 75337: $139.99 75338: $69.99 75339: $? 75340: $44.99 (advent calendar?) 75342: $39.99 75343: $59.99 Quite an impressive amount of sets
  25. 75331 will be a $350 D2C set, according to the latest rumours If the pattern holds, this should be a MBS set
