DC Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Agreed, that would be a welcome addition Lamenting DC sets being over-reliant on Batsy is powderising horse bones at this point, but if they can spice things up by including characters like Klarion or Zatanna, then I say bring on the Batvehicles -

If the theme's coming back this year, there 100% will be at least another wave next year. Or do you expect them to randomly bring back the theme without taking the opportunity to release sets on the upcoming 5th film? I'm still amazed they didn't delay all of the sets. To me, this indicates they must be pretty confident -

There has to be a reason he hasn‘t reappeared since his debut Maybe they want to save him for something? I think 2 sets for Kenobi and Andor each plus one for TBB S2 would be satisfying enough for a start -

It 100% isn‘t First off, Art sets have their own range of set numbers, and secondly, there‘s already a Batman-themed one rumoured for 2022 (namely 31205) -
LEGO Videogame Tie-Ins - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Sure, but not on the same insane level as Activision They actually got sued by the state of California over their horrendous actions, which goes to show how serious things are. It’s arguably the biggest scandal in videogame history Not sure they could actually outright cancel the set even if they wanted to, considering their contracts and all. I’m no expert, but releasing a set and people boycotting is probably preferable to breaking a contract -
Jurassic World 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

Set numbers don't always follow logical patterns though. Sometimes numbers are skipped entirely, at other times the releases are jumbled in their order. Look at last year's Star Wars sets: The rumoured 75303 still hasn't been released yet and the apparent gap between 75316 and 76319 has already been filled by two sets released a year prior Those set numbers could easily be reserved for 2023 sets. Another reason for skipped numbers is sets being cancelled, since their numbers aren't always reassigned to other sets -

All the sets we know of are scheduled for April There are currently no rumours of a second wave at all -

Depends on what you mean by "leak". A random webshop uploading the pictures or a street date being broken are rather unlikely scenarios, since that's indirectly controlled by TLG. Accidentally sending out sets or pictures two months too early is not a common occurrence I'd say What is far more likely is TLG bungling it themselves in a different way by showing the sets in a catalogue, Eternals-style -
Jurassic World 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

Sure, but 10 sets is already more than enough for a single wave What I‘m arguing against is the existence of four additional sets -
Jurassic World 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Maybe, but wouldn‘t it be way easier to delay the sets there were originally supposed to be released in 2022 until next year? It‘s going to be big, but that still seems like overkill. Not even Star Wars or Marvel get this many sets just for one film That‘d be more sets than for all MCU sets in a year combined -

There weren‘t any bounty hunters in the trailers though, which is what the set description said the two unknown minifigs were Unless said description is wrong of course and they‘re some other type of mercenary or criminal, like the assassins from the first episode -

Just keep in mind that these sets were initially supposed to be released in 2021, along with the 4 CC sets 18 JW sets in a single year sounds completely ridiculous if you ask me -

Where did you find the rumour concerning numbers 76952 through 76955? Haven't seen that one yet Or did you infer that based on the gap among the previously known numbers? If so, gaps like that are quite common and don't necessarily mean anything -
Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Pulp Detective's topic in LEGO Licensed
That would be an amazing set, but the scene's better suited for a larger set IMO simply because it requires 5 minifigs: Indy, Elsa, the Grail Knight, regular Donovan, and Donovan, he who has chosen poorly (or rather he who fell for Elsa's trickery ). The way I imagine this set, a play feature like the one found in the Isla de Muerta set from the PotC theme would be a must -

I take back what I said about Moody and Trelawney being inevitable downgrades, they‘re actually upgrades Between them and Pomfrey, we‘re getting CMF-level minifigs in regular sets now -

I hope we finally get to gawk at some proper pictures soon Which details are you looking forward to the most? For me, it’s two of the face prints: Moody’s because I want to know whether there’s another Barty Crouch Jr print on the back (this time, without the tongue hopefully) and Pomfrey‘s since I wonder if it‘s new Edit: The hospital wing has been revealed! Pomfrey‘s face is new and the Skele-gro bottle uses a baby head with a skeleton print This is going to be a useful piece Edit 2: My eyes didn’t deceive me, Moody‘s torso is definitely medium nougat now Both of his face prints look great, but the tongue is still sticking out DANGIT -

Most likely yes, just like last time It’s probably the most mature license they’ve ever acquired, so it makes sense to focus their efforts on D2C sets -

Wizarding World 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I’d say all three of the sets are too specific to get remade already. The two sort-of remakes we have thus far can easily co-exist with their precursors, whereas remakes of these three could not I think we’ll first see remakes of Hagrid’s Hut (preferably the PS/CoS version), the Hogwarts Express, and something Quidditch-related before they touch any of them again. Besides, there’s so much iconic stuff left they don’t even have to resort to remakes already. If they’re desperate to give us another Voldy, just make a set based on his duel with Dumbledore from OotP instead of remaking the graveyard set. Feeling a GoT itch? Scratch it by releasing a set based on the second task Want to shove in Pettigrew somewhere? The Shrieking Shack is right there -
