  1. It scales pretty decently I'd say:
  2. The costumes of what I assume are Phoebe Waller-Bridge‘s and Mads Mikkelsen‘s characters would make for some cool minifigs! Too bad we won‘t get to see the snippets of footage though
  3. Ah, I see! But they don‘t usually comment on why sets get rejected though, so them accidentally spilling the beans in that manner is not very likely
  4. Nobody knows at this point. Could be the $500 set, one that got cancelled, or there was some sort of mix-up (BP bust D2C + minifig-scale Hulkbuster in 2023 = Hulkbuster D2C )
  5. I think you did a phenomenal job with the set Can‘t wait to add it to my collection! Expensive, yes, but people probably don‘t realise how enormous that model is. I‘ve seen some mockups on IG and it towers over the helmet sets!
  6. Interesting. Never realised it was just a rumour started by KH fans, I thought there really was a rights issue behind it The first time I heard about it was back in 2016, when a fake rumour list for Disney CMF S1 was shot down, on the grounds that Tarzan and Jane were included. Good to know they‘re stil on the table for the upcoming series, even if very unlikely
  7. In light of the bust, I still don‘t get where that rumour came from. The leakers seemed so convinced and provided so many hints, and yet were completely off the mark here Unless there actually is a second BP D2C set, which would be sheer madness. No movie has ever had two D2C sets dedicated to it in that quick of a succession
  8. My point was that it‘s going to be rejected 100% simply because TLG brought the theme back. A rejection thus won‘t hint at anything Enforced or not, I can‘t see them ever producing an Ideas set based on an active theme
  9. Thinking back, some things still don’t add up. Didn’t people say that the minifigs in the $500 set would be its saving grace? Assuming it’s the Hulkbuster - Ockham’s Razor and all that -, what would that translate to? IW versions of some characters? I mean those should be included in the small one coming in January Perhaps this is all the evil doing of TLG‘s leak manager
  10. Doubtful. Didn’t they claim the Hulkbuster was twice as tall as the previous one? If true, $350 would never have made sense, now that I think about it. Doubling the height of an object means 4 times the area and 8 times the volume, so it should be a lot more expensive than roughly double the price
  11. I’m really confused now. So there’s three options here: The Hulkbuster is the $500 set and the “BP vehicle” doesn’t exist We indeed get two huge BP D2C sets and the Hulkbuster rumour was false We get all three sets, which is a ridiculous notion. 3 Marvel $300+ sets within a month or two, two of which are BP-related (or all three, since it’s supposed to be the IW Hulkbuster)?!
  12. …what This not only has the Hulkbuster’s rumoured set number, but also its price! So the Hulkbuster must be the $500 set
  13. Highly doubtful. They don’t allow Ideas sets based on existing themes, which IJ already is, internally at least
  14. They capitalised on it by selling the show‘s unborn sibling to the highest bidder Don‘t know why anybody expected a bunch of reality TV garbage hacks to be able to handle scripted TV, movies, and animation properly. Plus the comic department of DC. And merchandising. Classic example of failing upwards
  15. Percy's hairpiece is dark orange, not regular orange
  16. Received the latest DK book with the Percy minifig, but his hairpiece is broken, with a very noticable dent in the plastic Won‘t be easy to get a replacement piece since the hairpiece is currently exclusive
  17. I don’t think that’s ever been an issue for them (case in point: the 2015 and 2016 X-Wings) These two sets might share some similarities, but one is an unlicensed hotel and the other a licensed bank, presumably with the Ironbelly resting on top. They don’t appeal to the same target audience
  18. People on EB have been asking for Fang for ages. I know because I am one of them, ever since the 2011 set list appeared
  19. Ordered the HE this morning right as it became available! Can‘t wait to build it next week
  20. A bit overdramatic, I mean it’s not like a major studio would ever scrap a 90% finished fil… Oh. Hey, at least WBD is not involved. Otherwise, I’d be terrified
  21. If they delay it AGAIN, I will have my revenge, and it won’t be pretty
  22. Which is weird to me. How come we know the release dates of pretty much everything scheduled for 1HY except for these sets? Unless they pull a Monkie Kid, which I highly doubt
  23. In my opinon, the old broom head (introduced with the CMF janitor) l works much better, as evidenced by the Disney Castle The new one doesn’t capture the shape from the cartoon quite as well
  24. Two additional points regarding the S3 branding (or rather, lack thereof): It finally would‘ve broken the „two series“ curse for licensed CMF series. Now, it technically persists The 100th anniversary branding could‘ve been compatible with it as they don‘t rule each other out. Pretty sure it‘ll pop up on the Princess set boxes next year too (maybe even the Star Wars ones)
  25. …and what‘s the difference? They‘ll still pick characters from popular films to celebrate the 100th anniversary. S1 and S2 would‘ve worked in that capacity too. I think a S3 branding would‘ve reduced the risk of repeats (say, an updated Ariel or something). Under the new branding, they could theoretically excuse reusing characters by saying it‘s a separate series Not saying they‘re gonna do that though, I have faith in the CMF team to give us all-new stuff
