Disney Properties 2022 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Soupperson1's topic in LEGO Licensed
Basically already confirmed. Jedijacpenguin lists three Disney-themed Brickheadz 2-packs (40619-40621) and one labelled „100th anniversary“ (40622) I supposed the previously rumoured Cruella is featured in one of the 2-packs -

The guy responsible for cancelling (and allegedly deleting footage of) two films with finished productions so they can write them off their taxes, removing HBOmax‘s own shows simply so they don‘t have to pay royalties anymore, selling a new animated Batman show produced by Bruce Timm and Matt Reeves to a competitor, cancelling tons of animated content in general, pushing lowest common denominator reality TV garbage, alienating pretty much every industry professionals in the process, and burning every goodwill they ever had, surely cares about DC merchandise DC fans can consider themselves lucky Discovery don‘t write the entire DC comic division off their taxes too. …for now. -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

Other sources are now reporting on the same rumour too! Hope it’s true! My only fear is retreats, which would be pretty bad, especially considering we‘re down to 12 minifigs now. A far cry from the first series with 18 figures! In my opinion, still one of TLG’s worst decisions in recent memory. Sometimes I look at the Marvel, Looney Tunes, and Muppets series, wondering which 4 characters each we could‘ve had -

Other sources are reporting on the CMR rumour too Hope there are no retreats! -
Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

I still think it could be a collection of multiple vehicles. The leakers said it „includes“ a BP vehicle, which is an interesting way to put it Still a questionable idea, but I‘d rather have a collection of three UCS-sized $150 vehicles than a singular oversized one. Also, one of the leakers said it‘d be more suitable as a DC set, and the Marvel equivalent to a collection of multiple Bat vehicles would fit that description to a tee -

That‘d be the first time in TLG history that a new film that isn‘t part of the LEGO Movie franchise is getting a D2C right at release. That’d already be a risky move for any normal D2C set, let alone a $500 one -

Could it perhaps be a collection of vehicles? That way, the scale would at least make a bit more sense. Still a silly choice, why not pick just one and make it a $200 set instead That is going to be a tough sell for that pricetag! -

A $200 BP set I could get behind, but this is just ridiculous. Large-scale vehicles aren‘t exactly the first thing I think of when I hear „BP“ Even a giant panther statue would make more sense than this! -

As much as I like BP, this is just a straight-up terrible idea. No BP vehicle is iconic enough to deserve a $500 set What were they smoking And how is this supposed to be a celebration of Marvel as a whole? -

Greekbricks on IG teases a BP-related reveal in a couple of hours. Since it shows the head, I suppose this is about the rumoured helmet, rather than the fourth WF set -

Late December is when we usually get to see the March sets anyway, as that‘s when the consumer catalogues for 1HY get distributed Weren‘t the Trolls sets scheduled for February, at least in regular shops? And the sole Overwatch 2 set was also intended to be released that month before it got axed. Also, Brickheadz! February and July are definitely the least busy months in terms of new releases, but that doesn‘t mean it‘s outside the realm of possibility -

Is jinzol_lego on IG reliable? I think they‘ve had some previous leaks under their belt, but I‘m not really sure… Anyway, they‘re reporting that we might get Disney CMF S3 to celebrate the 100th anniversary! -

No idea how reliable they are, but jinzol_lego on IG reports that 71038 could be a new Disney series to celebrate the 100th anniversary. Hope that‘s true! -

That was under the assumption that the sets were going to be released in January, which is apparently not the case. We can thus expect pictures in December or January, I assume -

According to @Brick Clicker, we can expect the first wave in the middle of 1HY, so around March or April. Sucks, especially since we already have descriptions, but so many themes get sets in January that it‘s sort of understandable Could also be February though, as there‘s nothing else scheduled for that month yet as far as I‘m aware -

Same! But considering what else gets released in January (Avatar 2, Marvel, Star Wars, Minecraft, Super Mario, Technic, City, Friends, Ninjago, and more), this isn‘t that surprising I assume March or April then. -

Thanks for clarifying! Yeah, no idea what to expect there. I love the idea behind the Infinity Saga sets, but I wish they focussed on more important gaps! Give us the missing Thor side characters, Kaecilius, etc. -

Makes sense 76222 and 76224 still seem to be scheduled for a release this year, so 76221 has to be the only set based on The Flash. No real surprise there -

I assume you mean the Indy 5 sets? I certainly hope the 4 classic sets get released in 1HY, otherwise this might be the longest distance between description leaks and actual images in TLG history Would be cool, but this is a $50 set, so I assume a vast majority of the parts is used for the Hulkbuster itself, rather than a sidebuild (maybe that Wakandan troop transport thingy?) -

These sets will launch in January, according to @Brick Clicker: 21240 The Swamp Adventure ($10) 21241 The Bee House ($20) 21242 The End Arena ($25) 21243 The Frozen Peaks ($35) 21244 The Sword Outpost ($45) 21245 The Panda House ($50) I hope the two houses are giant mob builds, those are always a highlight for me! 21240 will surely include at least one frog, so it‘s nice to see them introduced in such an affordable set! No idea what to expect from the rest. Sure hope 21242 finally includes some End City elements, that‘s so long overdue!! -
