Disney Properties 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

I‘d remove that picture if I were you, posting leaked images is not allowed on EB These arm pieces were used for Rio Durant from Solo: -

You’d think so, but those arm pieces were introduced 5 years ago and this is the first time they’ve been reused -
Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Yeah, the Third Task really doesn‘t lend itself to a set as it is just a hedge maze. The foggy and eerie atmosphere in the movie is great, but cannot really be translated into a set. The only way I could see it done is as part of a graveyard remake set, with a play feature to “teleport” Harry and Cedric (e.g. a revolving door with one side being a hedge and the other with graveyard scenery) -

I don’t think that’s ever gonna happen as it would be self-cannibalism. The Hogwarts D2C made sense because it was a completely different scale and thus its own thing, unrelated with the modular system. Also, how many Great Halls do we flippin need?! -

Probably cancelled. Most sets that mysteriously don’t get released are simply canned, the usual exception being sets based on delayed movies. Some D2C sets also get shifted around, but this obviously doesn’t fall in either category. 10779 is thus most likely dead since there don’t appear to be other new Mickey & Friends this year either -

Those are the ones later in the year As far as we’re aware, we have complete set lists for the entire year, with the exception of Monkie Kid perhaps. There might be the odd unknown exclusive here or there, but this should be it -

Of course not, because a label like that would only be used in hindsight. For new releases, the movie/show’s respective label makes so much more sense. I can only see them starting to use that branding once the saga is over -

This has nothing to do with ego. If you aspire to be a leaker, you first need to prove yourself by providing info that is next to impossible to guess, say a couple of set names or a list of prices and piece counts. Otherwise, lucky impostors just get a free pass. Look at the aforementioned Kingnono: People believed his nonsense because he initially got a small handful of things right As I kept saying since the set was revealed to be 18+, the only viable options were this diorama or a brickbuilt idol. And most people agreed with that idea, so guessing it correctly was extremy likely. Changing the story midway through was also very sussy. I do apologise for calling them a doofus, but I don’t accept them as a leaker unless they can prove it without a shadow of a doubt -

Honestly, this can’t really be compared to 2011. Everyone was disappointed then because they barely scratched the surface of what could be done with the theme. The premature end felt like an ocean of missed opportunities. This time however, even if it ended soon, which is not likely, we’ve had such a good run it would feel nowhere near as bad as last time, at least to me -

Jabba is still a moulded part, thank the maker!! Carbonite Han being brickbuilt sounds weird though. You gain (or rather keep) some, you lose some -

I’m also wondering which Indy-exclusive parts they’re gonna bring back. Now with the temple confirmed, I’d be happy with the old idol piece, which still holds up very well Mola Ram’s fancy hat also doesn’t need a redesign IMO -

Jock wouldn‘t make much sense without his plane, and there is no good way to integrate it into a diorama -

Without a question, given the sheer amount released every year and the speed with which they do so Since when are Funko Pops an indicator for minifigs? -

Excellent! Finally a proper Alfred Molina minifig The 2008 Satipo was just Bruce Wayne after paying a visit to Harry Potter‘s stylist and the 2004 Doc Ock was more inspired by the comics than the movie -

EVERYBODY in this thread guessed that correctly, and even the “four minifigs” tidbit might be a lucky guess Yeah, no apology from me. @Atrius Kain: You weren’t exactly subtle about it with your writing style, favoured topics, habit of using fictional places as account locations, and tendency to create new topics about potential themes -

FTFY Gee, did somebody realise that a Raiders set would make a lot more sense and thus change their story? What a coincidence That would-be Potter leaker from 2020 looks positively genius compared to this doofus -

Exactly! I liked the 2008 version of his back in the day, but they could do so much better nowadays than a colour-swapped pith helmet atop Draco Malfoy’s face -

Assuming the set actually is portraying the opening scene of RotlA, I would definitely like to see some booby traps! The most important ones were all covered in the 2008 set, so incorporating them again into this set should be pretty easy. The biggest question mark to me is the boulder. I doubt they’d repurpose that big ball element, even though it made sense as the movie version was very round too Then again, a brick-built version just wouldn’t be able to roll properly -

Labelling aside, this is an excellent polybag! Nice cheap way to get a Strange minifig and portal parts, the trans-purple minifig head is pretty hard to find, and the forced perspective approach looks very cute This might be my favourite Marvel polybag, aside from the Silver Centurion. Nothing will ever beat that one, I’m afraid -

Spreading obviously fake information originating from the sick mind of a hateful troll living in his mother’s basement naming himself after male genitalia is indeed unpopular. Go figure I’m immensely looking forward to all of them, but if I have to pick one, it’d be the Temple of Doom. Can’t wait to see the updated Mola Ram and Short Round minifigs! -

BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Why would an Infinity Saga label increase sales compared to a MoM or NWH one? People will buy this polybag for the Strange minifig and the portal, and I highly doubt their decision could ever be influenced by some labelling, even subconsciously Also, 9/10 people would not be able to tell that Strange has his MoM costume here. Heck, most people probably never notice that all the heroes sport new costumes in every movie! -

And I’ve heard from a reliable source that George Lucas has a cameo in the movie, stabs Indy with a lightsaber, and then places his corpse in a museum. Source: Trust me, bro. -

@The Real Indiana Jones: This pathetic garbage "rumour" has been debunked weeks ago by James Mangold himself Don't believe any old crap you read online
