Watch them pull a NWH and neither include MODOK nor Kang -

Neither of the two previous versions had a stickered face The only stickers they used on the 2020 one were for his forehead gem laser thing and a vital sign (?) on his chest -

MODOK doesn’t look big enough to be the main build of the set. Then again, neither did Iron Monger Personally, I hope he’s around the same size as the 2020 version with one of those ships being the main build instead -

Something’s indeed fishy with that PPR. Not even the buildable figures or Creator Expert cars had ones like that The first person to suggest an Art set gets yeeted into the black lake -

Except it’s an 18+ set, which indicates it’s most likely either a buildable object or a diorama of sorts. In either case, they’d probably go for the first film, specifically the opening scene -

Well, the Akator temple was the largest set of 2008 and the second largest of the 2008-2009 range as a whole, so it’s not unprecedented As long as we get a set with Spalko and the crystal skull before this iteration of the theme ends, I’ll be satisied -

Too early. They should start working on them near the end of the year, since the whole process between set inception and release usually takes around a year -

Usually, the shelf life of widely-released sets is 1.5 years. Unless they sell terribly, I'd expect them to stick around for a while -
Minecraft 2022- Rumors and Discussion

We now have prices too, thanks to electricbricks and jedijacpenguin: 21247 The Axolotl House: 242 pcs, $24.99 21248 The Pumpkin Farm: 257 pcs, $34.99 21249 The Crafting Box 4.0: 605 pcs, $69.99 21250 The Iron Golem Fortress: 868 pcs, $99.99 My thoughts on each of these: The Axolotl House sounds like the best of these sets. Mob houses are some of my favourite MC sets they've been releasing lately and the axolotl is a particularly cute mob. Hope it includes at least three of them like the previous set, and a newly-coloured one to boot! The Pumpkin Farm could be interesting. Farm sets are another highlight and while pumpkins are nothing that spectacular, they could include new villagers here! Maybe some Illagers too, like an Evoker. I sure hope the latest crafting box is better than its precursor in terms of mobs. 3.0 didn't feature a single unique mob, which was pretty disappointing. A donkey would be neat! The Iron Golem Fortress is the biggest wildcard in this wave. It could either be a giant Iron Golem, which would be my preference, or a fortress that houses multiple Iron Golems. Out of the four sets, this has to be the one that features the skin that won the vote at last year's LEGO con. All of the contestants were knights, so a fortress is the safest bet Btw, too bad this thread doesn't get pinned, but there aren't enough posts here to justify that, I assume -

Jedijacpenguin said in a video that there might be two D2C sets this year. It’s possible, but I take it with a grain of salt until we hear more -

I think the other delayed 2022 set has a decent chance of being an Aquaman 2 set. Either that, or The Flash gets two -

Probably not, as the Nickelodeon licenses are still with Mega, if I’m not mistaken. Besides, I doubt they’d release a 4+ TMNT range My money’s on Trolls 3. -

I don’t think that’s a fair comparison. I’d say the reason both Death Star playsets were so coveted by kids was their allure as the ‘ultimate’ LEGO Star Wars set, rather than the minifigs that were paywalled behind it, which were nothing to write home about in either case. As others have pointed out, what draws people to the idea of additional NWH sets are the minifigs, not really the builds associated with them. I doubt many kids (or parents) would buy a $200 Statue of Liberty set just to get the minifigs -

Ahsoka was mostly featured to set up her own show We knew there was going to be a sequel series to Rebels ever since that epilogue showed that all of the main cast (except for Kanan) survived past ROTJ, and I thought it made perfect sense for her to show up in Mando. It's the correct timeframe (briefly after ROTJ), and as the only surviving (former) Jedi other than Luke and Ezra she was a good choice to explain Grogu's backstory. To me, it felt pretty natural. -

Same. I’m extremely nostalgic for the 2010-2018 toy fair seasons, but I’ve come to terms with the fact that these times are over Also, the NYTF is in September this year rather than February. No big loss though Me too! Can’t believe they haven’t cashed in on that yet. -

Also excited for that one I’m glad the Art theme is branching out a bit. As much as I like the mosaics, stuff like the Rolling Stones logo or the Great Wave are a nice change of pace -

We don’t know the reasoning, but it’s not TLG alone who decide what to do with this theme, Nintendo also has a say in this. The consensus among fans is that they’ve avoided minifig sets so far to avoid self-cannibalising, which makes sense. I can see the course building system ending soon because TLG tends to plan in 3-year cycles (see the big bang themes and HP for instance) and the PPRs of the new sets are notworthy too, on top of the apparently missing digifig and character series. However, this is merely circumstantial evidence. Unless we hear clear rumours, I refuse to get my hopes up
