I don't really like this way of thinking. It's akin to the people who always want to immediately hand over the keys to a franchise to the first person that created something they like, without considering any of the logistics. Being a set designer and creative lead of an entire theme are two very different jobs. As a lead, you have to answer to higher-ups and take up so many other responsibilities (budgeting etc) you barely have time to actually work on sets, I imagine. Also, I cannot imagine the set line-up being dictated by the creative lead, especially with licensed themes. I'm sure some set ideas are proposed by Marvel, while others come from individual designers. This is a collaborative effort, after all.

That set allegedly comes with Baylan, Shin, Morgan, and a New Republic pilot The T-6 supposedly includes Ahsoka, Sabine, Huyang, and the unknown inquisitor.

I think so, judging by that bluish tint Speaking of which: I initially thought that trans-black would replace trans-brown, but that doesn't appear to be the case. There have only been two trans-black parts so far, and one of them came in the Hocus Pocus set, which also features trans-brown pieces

Zeb isn't included in any of the sets, as far as we know. Is he even in the show? Haven't heard anything so far, and that awesome CGI design from Mando S3 can't be cheap. Maybe he's in it too briefly to justify a minifig Then again, this is SW...

While I appreciate the minifigs in this set (with them all being exclusive and three of them representing new characters), it‘s still funny to me that the largest of the three Ahsoka sets has by far the least interesting minifig selection Also, the titular character of a show or movie only being featured in one of the sets is kind of unheard of. I don‘t mind that at all, it‘s just peculiar

Well, you can only be disappointed if you‘re expecting something, so you’re creating a self-fulfilling prophecy here If you’re after mutant content, X-Men 97 sets are way more likely.

A direct tie-in set? No way. TLG simply do not release sets based on R-rated movies. I‘ll eat a Deadpool minifig on camera, dressed as Deadpool, if that happens An indirect tie-in is possible, but still far from likely as Deadpool is now mostly asspciated with the films, as others have pointed out.

The Ghost + Phantom set has been leaked/revealed!! Yeah, whoever said the Mon Cala and the other New Republic character were those two standing behind Hera in the teaser was right on the money! Jacen looks good too. Love the ship itself, much better than the 2014 version, and the downscaled Phantom II is very neat. Love that the set includes both ships!

Had you asked me before March, I would have agreed wholeheartedly. Now, not so much My theme of the year award instead goes to Disney 100. LOTR scores the silver medal, and bronze is currently a toss-up between Harry Potter and Indy. Whether Indy gets kicked off the podium depends on how good the Gringotts set is, and since it sounds like a great set, it ain’t looking too good for Indy And depending on how much I like the Ahsoka sets, Indy might even end up in fifth place. Never thought I‘d say that

Piranha plants are among my favourite Mario enemies, so these are exciting news The price point seems to be optimal too, as a $100+ piranha plant would be a pretty tough sell I suppose.

Haha Thanks The Indy movies are near and dear to my heart, so I still appreciate ToD quite a lot, despite its flaws. I just like all the others more In terms of LEGO, I can’t stress how much I love the three sets we got, but this reboot theme will still go down as the most barebones surface-level coverage of any major movie franchise they ever had a license for, and that’s just sad

Prefering DoD over ToD isn‘t exactly a hot take, as a LOT of people are inclined to do so My personal order is LC, RotlA, DoD, KotCS, and ToD.

Looks a bit boxier than previous versions, but I quite like it Neat colour scheme and I appreciate the smaller size. Can’t wait to see better pics of the minifigs though! Also, I hope this means that Ahsoka set leaks are around the corner as well

Holy moley!! The camera set not only includes Walt, but Mickey, Minnie, Bambie, and Dumbo as well! They really spared no expense for the anniversary

I’m at a point where pretty much all the licenses I’ve ever dreamed of ended up happening (minus other Nintendo franchises like Animal Crossing and Kirby) So what I would like is for some older licenses to return, the most prominent being SpongeBob, true to my username and avatar It was pretty heartbreaking to see the Krusty Krab getting rejected twice on Ideas, but maybe the third time’s a charm?

Not sure what to think of the yearly D2C idea that has been proposed here. The market for that is completely untested, as Indy never had a single D2C set Even 77015 is a regular retail set. Still better than nothing, I guess.

Not sure how it was in Legends, but in canon, it‘s still unclear when exactly Plagueis died. As evil as Palpy is, I doubt he wanted to break the Rule of Two, so I assume he assassinated his master before Maul entered the picture Btw, a new encyclopedia is coming out! I wonder who the exclusive minifig is. The silhouette should not be taken at face value, but that is a pretty intriguing looking hairpiece! Hope it‘s a new character rather than a variant

*sad TROS zombie Senate noises* I highly doubt they plan to reveal the sets only one week ahead of release. And if they do, they’re basically begging for the sets to be leaked There‘d be no way they didn‘t leak beforehand

An SDCC exclusive with a regular set number, featuring a print that has been out of production for ages, and that‘s based on one of the most infamous scenes in the entire franchise. Yeah, sounds extremeeeeely believable

I have to say I‘m kinda surprised by the Flash flopping this hard. I expected it to perform well enough to at least break even based on the inclusion of Keaton alone If not even he could save it… Guess TLG had the right idea by cancelling the set as I can‘t imagine the merch faring much better than the movie itself. This does not bode well for Blue Beetle or Aquaman 2, but maybe Superman Legacy will bring DC back in full force! Along with the LEGO theme.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that cashgrab show getting sets. TLG are very cagey when it comes to shows compared to movies, and streaming shows especially. Even for a hit show like Mando, it took a good while before they fully committed to that one We’ve never had sets for an HBO… sorry, Max (), show before either.
