  1. The rumour was 3 Stormies and 3 Rebel troopers, which doesn’t fit the quote at all It also doesn’t fit neither the Sailbarge nor the leaked 2025 sets And if it was one of the August sets, I’m sure @Renown would’ve said so by now.
  2. A TDK Two-Face?! Now we’re cooking!! And you can never have too many Ledger Jokers I know it’s a stretch, but the nurse version would be fantastic!
  3. Anti-Venom and Spot?! Count me in More like „Morales“
  4. Good. I’m just gonna pretend it‘s Eisenberg‘s version, that one has it coming
  5. DC lives!! Well, the 2025 thread can be called „DC Superheroes 2025“ with a good conscience then So good to finally see a set without Batsy again!
  6. The Iron Man mechs will continue until morale improves.
  7. A DC set without Batsy?!?! Whatever next?! (Unless he‘s still thrown in there for good measure) Seriously though, that‘s a great sign for more to come!
  8. If the rumour about 3-4 January sets is true, this bodes well for Supes sets in May! More than one wave a year would be a clear sign of confidence
  9. 3-4 sets does sound plausible (mostly because 11 Marvel sets in a single wave would be overkill, so some of them kinda have to be DC). Who‘s the source though? I don‘t think any of the usual suspects have confirmed that yet Fair point, kids wouldn‘t care The villain designs especially are wacky and colourful, so kids would likely be interested without necessarily being familiar with the films they‘re from
  10. Not that kind of exclusive More like in “exclusive scoop” or “exclusive reveal”
  11. I would also like to see sets based on all three, but they’re sadly far from guaranteed So far, the first batch of sets based on new seasons were always released either shortly before their start or after their end. The earliest possible release for such sets would likely be May, meaning a full year after the finale of TBB, almost 10 months after The Acolyte’s season finale and …in time for Andor’s finale By that token, Andor would actually be more likely than the other two! Even though I personally think they’d have scheduled a set for January, if they had actually planned anything for S2. We shall see. I wouldn’t be surprised though if 2025 ends up being the first year since 2007 not to have any sets based on previously untouched content (2008-2013 had TCW, 2014 Rebels, and 2015-2024 new movies and shows on a yearly basis)* *assuming there was at least one set based on a new season of TCW every year between 2009 and 2013, which I believe was the case
  12. We got two sets for S1 and none for S2, so a third set a year after S3 ended is not exactly plausible I still want Crosshair‘s original helmet, but I‘ve accepted it‘s not happening
  13. Not sure why your first instinct is to assume they‘re stupid. They‘ve done two sets based on the show, so if the shuttle sold well, there‘s no way they‘d reach that conclusion. If both ended up being shelfwarmers though, I wouldn‘t blame them for not releasing more TBB sets Besides, I‘m pretty sure they conduct thorough analyses to determine exactly why certain sets performed better or worse than others. At least that‘s what I’d expect a huge company to do
  14. We can only hope The two BTAS sets this year were a good start, but there‘s so much more they could do! As for the Burton films, both of them have been covered rather well, not sure what else they could do (sure, the Batski, but nothing new in terms of minifigs). As I’ve been saying for a while, the two Schumacher films also have a lot of set potential, but I‘m not sure if TLG would want to take the risk since the opinions on them are very divided, especially B&R Sets based on them could easily be shelfwarmers.
  15. How’s that surprising? You say it yourself, it’s not in the movie Including book-only minor characters like Malkin in a set is one thing, but a sphinx? Malkin’s a regular witch who must exist in the movies’ universe, simply because of her shop. A sphinx however would seem completely out of place to people only familiar with the films and would require some explanation.
  16. The blurb says "exclusives", so they can't be talking about the Ideas set, and as @JohnTPT17 points out, the timing would line up perfectly with a CMF reveal
  17. Depends. If we’re talking Avengers-levels waves with 5-6 sets, that’s not happening anytime soon. But a smaller wave with around 3 sets is pretty realistic. TLG usually either commit from the beginning or don’t bother at all With movies especially, merch producers have to strike the iron while it’s hot, so I assume they will give the DCU at least a fair chance with its first proper outing.
  18. It’s the same source both times though If exabricks meant Jango from the getgo; why the owl emoji then?
  19. Exabricks posted a GIF of Jango Fett No idea what this implies. BrickHeadz maybe? I doubt they’d release two Mandalorian helmets at once Edit: I was wrong, now he implies it’s a helmet after all!
  20. I was never on the hook Even BrickHeadz are highly doubtful. They’d still be promoting an R-rated movie with pictures of the movie characters on the side of the box. That said, Wolverine and Deadpool BrickHeadz are definitely feasible, just not ones based on the movie versions A way more likely option would be a multipack with Wolverine and other mutants based on X-Men 97!
  21. Yeah, the sets are clearly based on the movies and only take inspiration from other sources where none are available in the films. Firenze does show up in PS, so if they make a minifig of his (which they should), they have no reason not to base it on the movie design We're really approaching the bottom of the barrel when these are some of the most notable missing characters
  22. Of course I can't prove they'd never do such a thing, but I still think it's highly implausible. Wouldn't they have to get approval from Disney as well to do some Tyrion shenanigans like that with their license? Enough people, otherwise they wouldn't be made There clearly is a market for 18+ products. And it's not that bad yet.
  23. More like Rebel Fiend, amirite? Move along, nothing to see here. Agreed. While it sucks they don’t seem to be interested in revisiting Infinity Saga movies that could actually result in new characters finally getting the minifig treatment, CA:CW is an excellent choice A black-base set of the airport battle could be really neat!
