  1. I don’t think that’s the same shark as the pirates set, those ones had moulded skeleton parts
  2. Not entirely accurate. The knight bus rumour, and the rumour of a 6th set in general. Came around only a few weeks prior to the express reveal. For about 8 months, we only knew of 5 sets, plus the D2C and CMF. And I’m fairly sure there wasn’t a number attached to the knight bus rumour, atleast initially, but I could be wrong there.
  3. Also, remember we didn’t know about the Hogwarts Express Set until it wasn’t officially announced, so who knows there might be another set
  4. Damn! They’re £3.99 in lego store and I bought 2!
  5. Gonna call it now, the large set is another Hogwarts building; probably the clocktower with film 3/4 related goodies. the 400 piece set, and the 4th set will be either Knight Bus, Hagrids Hut or the first task, the tiny Set...no idea, maybe Hagrid’s buckbeak lesson if we don’t get the hut? Maybe a werewolf set? Literally no idea
  6. Seeing people moaning about the 4+ stuff not being accurate/detailed and being too expensive is quite funny tbh. these sets are made for 4 year olds, what dyou expect? Why is 3PO in the A-wing Set when he’s in the microfighters Set too? Because the 4 year old isn’t buying the microfighters Set. Why is it expensive? Because they use large pieces and specialised prints, juniors sets are expensive anyway, chuck Star Wars in and boom. honestly, sometimes is AFOLs really do need to realise who these sets are aimed at. anyway, love all the other sets! Getting both BPs for sure. Want the droid gunship and AT-TE for my clone wars display, will go great with all the new Jedi we got last year! The drawback microfighters is awesome, might get two to go with the cantina, landing shuttle and speeder sets from the last few years. love the Death Star Escape; iconic scene scene and a cheap way to get Leia to complete my a new hope crew display for my UCS falcon! a nice little wave, I like the trend of popular dogs in cheap sets Lego are doing with a lot of themes nowadays, I hope they keep it up!
  7. Yes! Stealing that idea! love the look of these, it seems they’re a lot let sticker heavy now. Looking forward to seeing the potential Dodge set. im not a huge fan of the camero set, but the others look great
  8. There was a rumour ages ago about the Doctor appearing in the movie, I wouldn’t be surprised if this turns out to be the case and a we get a Minifigure somewhere. EDIT: I’m a huge DW fan, like a huuuggggeee fan, but damn that tweet is a bit blinded. DW is not as popular as it was 5 years ago, and the Ideas Set was not a success, it sold poorly.
  9. Mine had none! ...because I’m in the U.K. and we don’t have the sets yet
  10. Not sure if it’s happeningg elsewhere, but the 3 DC sets from January this year are apparently retiring soon on shop@home. But quick isn’t it? Especially considering the Lego batman sets are staying put, and only 2 new sets are coming in January.
  11. It’s so strange, especially considering the video games and animated Lego movies have all had new 52/rebirth suits in them. The flash will have 3 versions by the next wave, Wonder Woman 4, cyborg 2, Martian manhunter 2, aquaman 2, green arrow 2, and then of course Batman has about 35. It is utterly baffling.
  12. Calling it now, the new firefly helmet is gonna be used for the next Wasp and Ant-Man Minifigures. Should be, the movie is released around the same time as Black Panther was
  13. That does look great. The App controlled batmobile is gonna be on sale for Black Friday (in the U.K. atleast) On shop@home, might have to pic it up.
  14. I just want a different superman. Why has he never got a different comic outfit?
  15. Most certainly want to get another Hogwarts Express set for the reasons you say, allso another Whomping Willow Set, but to make the tree bigger rather than the castle
  16. Well, the Woolworths closure wasn’t as sudden as TRU, and they didn’t have promotions as exclusive and major as Bricktober. you seem to just want to blame Lego for everything. Yes an official store sold the set, but just one store in the whole world, do you seriously think they dried up the stock? This is in no way the first time a promotion has gone out of stock quickly, the set was just popular, so it sold out, there is literally no other factors involved. Infact, the early leak of the set led to more anticipation, boosting sales of the promotion. and not having a backup if the promotion holder backed out? It was TRU, TRU, the whole bricktober theme was there’s and the closure was extremely sudden, of course Lego wouldn’t have a backup for products that even had packaging themed around the distributer, it’s taken this long to get them out there because they had to repackage everything, and then find a new distributer.
  17. Love the use of a parrot for Fawkes’ face! Really awesome and creative build all round!
  18. Tbh they don’t have much control on bricktober. Ya unfortunate that we all New about it, but form a business point of view, nothing was even hinted until the full reveal by Barnes and noble. Not mishandled at all by Lego, all down to B&N. Diagon Alley again just suffered from leaks, if there were no leaks, we would of just had a reveal and announcement and it’s been widely advertised like any other S@H promotion. as for the solo polybags, they were well advertised here in the U.K. on S@H. bricktober is gonna be a mess because of TRU closing, it’s not Lego’s fault, and they’ve sold atleast the HP ones to B&N, taking any blame out of their hands really.
  19. They could do a piece that is used for both the Bary and the Spino. Just have the sail on the spino be something you attach to the studs on the bodies back.
  20. It does seem that Lego are trying to stock things where they can in the U.K. polybags, that used to go to newspapers or TRU, are now stocking heavily in Tescos, Entertainers, and even the Lego shops themselves are stocking some, instore only, like the guardians ship and Star Wars U-Wing. the entertainer have a couple of old TRU exclusive sets they seem to have brought out of retirement (Civil War Tanker Set and Star Wars Spider Droid). No doubt old stock they bought cheap.
  21. The bricktober pack isn’t a confirmed promotion. It was in the US through Barnes and Noble. But has not been a Lego shop promotion anyway.
  22. Both promotions?! Is the bricktober pack in the U.K. too?
  23. I think that the AT-AP is just a placeholder image, I mean it’s identical to a promo shot for the previous version..
  24. Oof, that is atrocious. It utterly baffles me why they skimp on superhero Minifigures. The sets are sold by the characters, not the builds. But Star Wars sets, which are mostly about the builds, have really great Minifigures, and most of the characters from solo got brand new and detailed and printed mounds.
