  1. The original hairpiece is discontinued and will never be used again. The one they have used is the piece that was designed in a similar style to be more up to Lego’s modern hair standards - more crisp and proportionate. also with Enterainter and HP, that’s true they don’t, however it is odd they stock the trivial pursuit and top trumps HP sets.
  2. I hope not, the last TIE advanced was very recent and a great build, I’d rather we get an Interceptor or bomber
  3. Stranger things have happened. I hope we find out about the bricktober packs soon
  4. Thank you very much. Heading on a road trip Saturday so will stop at one, really hope it’s the polybag, it’s all I need other than the Bricktober pack to complete the collection (unless this is the bricktober pack, who knows)
  5. Do you know where I can find more information about he Harry Potter Smyths thing you mentioned?
  6. Ooo hadn’t heard about that for the U.K., if it’s not Smyths, my bets are on Entertainer or Tesco, they seem to have hand a lot of TRU stock and polybags recently
  7. Replace the raptor with Hammond and it’s a perfect set
  8. That’s fair enough, I was just meaning if someone can only display it from one angle, they’d be mad to choose the interior over that gorgeous exterior. I do so love a set that I just can’t get over how good it looks
  9. Well that explains why that designer said about the end of the year. Shame, thought we’d fonally get the tour vehicle. Oh well, still an Ian Malcom!
  10. When people say minifigure scale, they mean system scale like the Great shall Set, which is silly conceivable to have a 6000 piece add on in my opinion.
  11. To give a polar opposite view...I was originally not on board with the microscale, as I wanted a system scale set. But basically a 6020 piece architecture set of my favourite pop culture building? Yeah, I’ll take it! The set is beautiful and close to being my favourite set ever. The microfigures are so-so, but that’s not the point of the set for me, I don’t even really care about the interior, but I’m just displaying it from the front and it looks grand and gorgeous. The designer (Justin, is it?) should give himself a huge pat on the back, not only has he made a great set for fans, but he even managed to turn around a lot of people who hated the idea of a microscale Set, by designing something so great! additionally, the castle in the films is soo much better after the redesign in 3 (not 4). So much more added and just looks so much more alive.
  12. Not an Overwatch fan but these being system sets rather than construction figures is pretty great, the designs of the game are pretty great so there may even be something for non fans
  13. Noticed today that Lego have listed Fantastic Beasts abs a separate theme on shop@home. I’m the U.K. atleast, they were filed under Harry Potter before now
  14. The angle is really the only angle people would be displaying it anyhow. Anyone displaying the back of the great hall and grand tower is a madman
  15. meh, it’s fine. Interesting it’s not actually a UCS though. slave 1 is such a waste of parts IMO
  16. Okay, so to stop you saying you’re triggering people with micro scale. Peoples issue is not you saying it’s microscale. It’s saying that it is 100% coming and that you’re right. You claim it’s coming and that’s it’s D2C, but you don’t hide the fact that it is your prediction with no leaked info, and you’re just stating it as fact. I think we are likely to get a Knight Bus next year, but I have nothing to support me if it decided to say it is a fact that it is. you may end up being right, but you can’t just tell people you’re right like that and tell them they’re triggered when they call you out. also, you didn’t predict Hogwarts correctly, most of what you said wasn’t the case
  17. I did correct myself later on saying I’d watched the video and come to a different conclusion
  18. The thing is, they’ve had the design for the new 52 Superman since 2014, but they’ve never updated the figure, and yet have updated batman and wonderman and a few others for both new 52 and rebirth. It’s really annoying that they refuse to update superman
  19. If you watch the video in action, looking at the distance between that model and the Whomping Willow Set that can be seen in the foreground, it certainly looks smaller than minifig scale. The windows at weasleys could easily be 1x2x2. And as I said before, it looks like the top hat is just a minifig top hat, and one of the 4x4 or 6x6 domes is on top of Gringots, both are far too small for a minifig scale set
  20. Chamber has a chance of happening. If the line is successful I have no doubt it will happen. Maybe not next year, but the following. i really hope Diagon Alley is coming. A nice Modular type build with a cobbled Street would be cool, but I’m fine with standard system facades. im glad the list is fake, there’s so much from the first 3 films that can be done. Hagrids Hut with buckbeak, Knight Bus, Chamber of Secrets, duelling club, hogsmead and the Shrieking Shack, privet Drive, the Stone challenges with fluffy, the troll scene, common rooms, class rooms, the clock tower, the dark tower...so so much!!!
  21. I think it’s a mistake to presume this is a D2C. I don’t know what everyone else is seeing but the set could easily be similar in scale to the previous, and granted that was a D2C, but it could easily just be a £120 sorta set, maybe a retailer exclusive
  22. I’m not sure if it’s due to the camera they’ve used. But watching the clip with the Diagon alley set, it does actually look like a micro scale type build. You see the womping Willow Set in the foreground and it certainty makes it look small. And the top had of the Weasley character looks suspiciously like a minifigure too hat, and the dome on grindgots looks like either the 4x4 or 6x6 dome... I wouldn’t be so sure, all the other sets seen are either from the current wave or the development process of Hogwarts. This wouldn’t be the first time Lego have shown a future set in on of these videos, they did it with the Helicarrier
  23. Well if the blurred set in the background is to be believed, here’s what I’d like to see in the Diagon Alley Set: 4 buildings; Gringots Bank, Ollivanders Wand Shop, Flourish and Blotts/Quality Quidditch supplies and Weasley’s Wizard Weezes. minifigures: Harry (Diagon Alley costume from Philosophers Stone), Ollivander, Lockhart, Ginny, Arthur, Fred, George, Ron, Hermione, Lucius, Griphook, Gringots Goblin
  24. I highly doubt it would be microscale. The only reason Hogwarts is is so it could be a scale replica of a famous building, Diagon Alley definitely wouldn’t sell as well, it’s not iconic enough or architecturely interesting enough for it. And besides, these building are clearly just placed next to each other rather than in a set street scene
  25. Looks more system scale than microscale. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the set Ollivander is from. Perhaps it’s coming near December, which let’s not forget, leakers were certain was the release date for Hogwarts
