  1. In october a new book about minifigures will be released. LEGO Minifigure A Visual History New Edition comes with an exclusive minifigure: an orange classic spaceman. As the book is pretty expensive, could there be any other way to obtain more of those spacemen?
  2. I really hope not, as castles, especially some of those you mentioned, would be more popular in more age groups than a blacksmith in the castle theme. I like the original submission of the blacksmith, but I think it's too big to represent a medieval building and I would be thankfull if the designers shrinked it or, even better, turned it into a small medieval village.
  3. I am open for such a new, more customizable road system and I see how it offers a lot of benefits, but I fear it will get expensive (starting with replacing the old road plates) and it bothers me the road level will be 2 plates high, higher than the pavement that comes with the modulars. I wonder the 2021 modular building will have another base, like plates instead of the regular baseplate. I'm not sure it will happen as it would drive up the price of the set, without visual result. If they would change, I know how to use my free time by adapting the previous modulars to new standards!
  4. That house is a nice addition to your town! It looks cosy and warm. The European style fits well with your town.
  5. Hence the toilet in the bow of the wrecked Black Seas Barracuda in set 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay! There is no trace of Steve, but that bucket has to be his!
  6. Fantastic! The shapes and dimensions are just perfect. Great work!
  7. When I saw your creation on LEGO IDEAS I was immediately hyped. The castle looks substantional, it is polished, packed with detail and has the nice feeling of classic castle! It looks it could be an official set right away! It is a pleasure to browse the pictures! Great job! I wish you good luck on LEGO IDEAS! I really hope the castle will make it!
  8. When I saw the forestman statue, I too started thinking it could be a hint your project was making it in an official set. There have been hints to future sets in LEGO sets, but they're barely predictable. We'll have to wait and see. Do you know when we can expect the results of the review? It is a fantastic submission and I think it has a great chance! I really hope The Castle in the Forest will make it!
  9. Those are some fitting names for your city! The way you have set up your coastal city I especially like Brickpoint, because of the sighting point above the beach, and Brickport, as such a big bridge is fitting with a harbor nearby. It can be refreshing to take a break from a project. Focus on your other interests for a while, it could lead to new ideas for your LEGO project!
  10. Those colored rowhouses sure will look great in your city! I'm awaiting the delivery of the parts I've ordered last week for such a bright purple rowhouse. I already have them in medium lavender and flame yellowish orange.
  11. I really like the small beach with the surf shack! It's also nice to see a main street with modular buildings. Looks like you have a sunny city! Do you already have a name for it? So many parts you must have used to make all the rockwork and water tiling, wow! Keep bricking on, we're following!
  12. Interesting, ambitious project! It looks like a very eery park to visit. Do you plan to fill the park with minifigures?
  13. Nice tennis court. I like how you gave all those minifigures fitting faces! You gave that tree a very nice treetop! Impressive!
  14. There can't be enough in any town. All those minifigures need housing! It would be fun to see your modifications of the Pet Shop residences! Do you have pictures of them? I have some reddish brown copies and now I'm building some color variations of the residential building of set 10270 Bookshop. I'll post them here when they all are done.
  15. I'm very impressed by your school building! Words fall short to express how fantastic your creation is! The size is impressive, the color scheme is great, the dimensions are perfect and it is perfectly packed with excellent techniques and fun details. Were you inspired by a existing school building?
  16. Very fine charming town you have! It looks like an ideal place for minifigures to go to for a relaxing day out! It is nice how you have incorporated all those official sets in a heartwarming scape with an old school LEGO vibe.
  17. I appreciate nice box art. Because I mostly don't have the time to build my sets right away, I like to stare at the boxes every now and then. I would be bummed all boxes become black since lately LEGO has made nice boxes, with first on my mind Stranger Things and Pirates of Barracuda Bay. The Hidden Side boxes on the other hand I didn't like at all.
  18. I really like how there is always something going on in your LEGO town of Ballabreek! It is always fun to see your updates!
  19. Great mosaic of Sonic! I especially like the yellow and orange side. It really stands out colorwise and in terms of building techniques. The big arched window in the middle is a nice centerpiece and the old type jumper plates above it make a nice roof decoration!
  20. Such an atmospheric winter landscape, I particularly like the frozen pond and mountain trail! Great work!
  21. Here is my small row of colored townhouses based on set 10218 Pet Shop: I Meanwhile I've turned the green door around, just like was supposed in the instructions!
  22. I first thougt it was a new bird mould, but now I've seen a better picture I think it's a seagull.
  23. Now LEGO has changed it's approach for the more advanced sets, does Creator Expert still exist? The logo isn't present on box of the Haunted House and the Crocodile Locomotive, but on the site they are still listed under Creator Expert. Can we expect the next modular building (if the line continues) to have a black box too? On some sets black can be fitting, but I prefer Lego sets to look cheerfull and atmospheric. I'm also curious what the age recommendation will be. Personally I think '18+' doesn't fit for any LEGO set at all.
  24. I'm just speculating, but it looks like there is a statue of a forestman in LEGO City set 60271. Could it mean The Castle in the Forest that's being reviewed on LEGO Ideas is making it into a real set?!
  25. As always there are some parts and even builds in those big City sets that really interest me, while the redudant and recurrent builds make those sets too expensive. I would prefer the different builds being improved and rereased individually. I'm curious if these big sets are popular. I also prefer generic minifigures instead of those repetitive characters. But I can't be too dissapointed as it looks there's a statue of a forestman! Could it be a hint The Castle in the Forest will make it on LEGO Ideas?
