Yeah but in the uk it could be very different as it could do very well here as the pirates of the Caribbean films and Oz the great and powerful all did very well cinema take in wise. Critic opinions are meaningless to me. They are paid to find problems with the film to make their reviews more interesting. They don't review the film looking mostly at the positive side they focus on all the negatives and then make some sweeping (usually untrue) statement that makes people who saw the film think they are imbeciles. A good review presents balanced opinions and your own but makes no sweeping generalisation about the film's quality just because it didn't appeal to them. The problem with reviews is they make statements like: this film is terrible they don't say in my opinion this film is terrible and then say why you think that, which is the right way to write a review as others may have enjoyed it. Bad reviews can be off putting and I've only seen one film this year that made me agree with the reviewer on how terrible it was. I'd estimate that with the boost of the film coming out in the uk shortly after the sets that the sets will get lots of people buying them because they want to collect them before the film. I'm pretty confident that this film will be good and sell enough tickets and sets in the uk to be a success over here. Besides our papers are so unreliable that nobody even listens to them!

In the uk it is released august 8th which is when its American release would've been wiser to put as there are an absence of blockbuster summer movies this year it seems as the bigger ones seem to come out from sept onwards plus the uk box office for lr won't have to contend with despicable me 2. I think reason why they have not got many people in the states is kids would rather see despicable me 2 as kids today probably haven't even heard of the lone ranger. Admittedly I hadn't myself until I saw the first trailer. The sets look very cool and I will be picking all of em up if I enjoy the movie when I see it in august! Hope they don't stop the line before it is even released in the uk! The LR may be a rousing success in the uk as I've actually heard that the moviegoers enjoyed it immensely and the critics are being overly harsh yet again. Man of steel didn't have the best reviews nor did im3 or TDKR! The point is if people like the film they'll buy the sets if they don't they wont or they may buy them for the whole western thing.

Just thought that maybe we could get an updated Tarkin and an ozzel and a redesigned hologram emperor but like a figure rather than a block of blue with an image on it. Ideas for figures included: Darth Vader(redesigned with new printing perhaps some on the legs), Grand moff Tarkin redesigned with new printing and the Dooku cw hair piece and pupils in eyes, Ozzel (like in empire strikes out), two imperial officers, two storm troopers and hologram palpatine (redesign) also includes a mouse droid and probe droid.

Florrum I would buy in a heartbeat!! Just for HONDO! I reckon that his legs could be printed with his coat and we could get some new printing on the face and torso like his bone necklace and belt with a symbol on it! Heck maybe they could mold him a new hat piece as the 2009 one looks alright but isn't that accurate! I'd like to see satine and that would be a good way to get her as long as Lego doesn't mess her up like cw padme Burned Anakin would be cool perhaps an update to match his new 2012 torso as the 2010 one matches his 2005 design! 41st clone would be cool also is that the green marking ones if so great! Yeah I've always felt the final duel needs a large throne room set as the death star one (I don't own that) looks quite small compared to the actual room in the movie and with a baseplate and some cool windows and features, stairs platforms and columns it could become one mighty fine set!

I too am looking forward to star wars 7! There is promise after what Abrahams did with star trek and into darkness! If he can make this film or films just as good then we could be looking at a star wars filled future meaning a constant flow of material for sets! Just thought jj Abraham's star wars will look quite different! No barn door wipes! The sound design will probably be completely different. We might even get a part Imax filmed star wars! Now that would be cool! The sets would be amazing I reckon with all the detail he puts into his movie and the special effects. I reckon it will be a shining new ear for both lego star wars and star wars itself.

You do know that the show is said to focus on teenage protagonists like with series 5's young padawan episode arc. I doubt these rebels are even the rebel alliance! Plus everyone knows in canon as force unleashed light side ending is cannon that the rebels were accidentally formed by the empire themselves trying to destroy all their enemies at once with the help of starkiller (Vader's apprentice). The apprentice was betrayed by Vader and sacrificed himself to attempt (that failed) to destroy the emperor and let the rebel leaders escape. Inspired by his brave sacrifice the leaders including bail organa,mon mothma, princess leia and others formed the rebels to free their galaxy from the empire using star killer's family crest as their symbol! You can't overwrite that Disney! It happened and nobody is going to even consider Disney's version of events to be true if they change this!! I won't be able to watch the show as I have virgin media and that doesn't include Disney XD but the way it is going I'm thankful for that! The only thing that could make that show remotely good is if Darth Vader shows up as a prime antagonist voiced by James earl jones! Back on topic there is a lot of ot and pt.. and some remaining cw stuff plus other star wars stuff that they have to do. Rebels isn't even announced properly and Lego's 2014 wave is planned a year in advance so there is a high possibility in 2014 we will not see any sets based on yet another of Disney's dreadful television shows!

I like the movie themes as I like the movies and if it has a strong Lego line I usually see the movie. They do a really good job on comic and movie themes. I just wish they had got the license for GI Joe Retaliation as that was a really cool film and a Lego line for that would have been immensely popular same with star trek into darkness but sadly kreo which sickens me to talk about it got it as GI Joe is Hasbro and paramount (who own star trek) don't really care which brand does their lines e.g. star trek as long as someone will do them. On subject though I like both comic and movie lines.

Yeah could be. I was simply stating that as of now what we know is Lego can only make comic based sets of the F4 and X-men as fox own the licenses for the movies. This could change however a fox deal could work quite well. Either way a F4 set would really go very well with the doom we've been given. You never know they may guest star in ultimate Spiderman in the future so we may get the figures at least or Spidey may go to the Baxter building you never know..

The movie is owned by and made by fox not marvel/Disney. So Lego hasn't got rights to make sets based on the film so no. Unless they enter a deal with fox which I don't think would work with the current marvel superheroes line as that is all marvel/Disney, Lego cannot make sets based on any of the x-men films which are all fox. They cannot make sets based on the 2 and future fantastic 4 movies but comic based f4 sets they can make same with x-men just no lines based on the movies that fox own.

Like it that was quite a good sequence of the movie! The droideka has been updated so many times that there is no definitive version.

Duel on Geonosis and corporate alliance tank droid (ep2 version) due to my birthday on the 1st July, I'm hoping to pick up the cw barc speeder or 2013 maul mandalorian one next.

The set consists of padme's apartment similar size to what was done with the Malibu mansion iron man 3 set with padme's bedroom with a breakaway window for when Kenobi dives through it! A probe droid, Anakin's speeder updated with smooth tiles and printed/stickered bits to make it look even more accurate and zam's ship updated. Battle over coruscant £59.99 includes Anakin (ep3 with headset and a grimace but no dark circles around eyes and a smile on the other side of head),obi wan Kenobi (ep3 same as other ep3 sets I've proposed with a similar design to the cw one with the brown tunic underneath the robe showing at the neck and printed dark orange legs with tan printing for robes similar to design used in cw 2013 variant with headset), artoo deetoo and r4p17 and two buzz droids. Included in set: Obi Wan's red eta class interceptor, Anakin's yellow eta class interceptor both updated with similar design to the Anakin one from 2012 one vulture droid (updated) and one tri fighter (updated). I'd say invisible hand but after the criminally under scaled malevolence last year I feel there may be no hope for an invisible hand set.

Includes opening sliding doors where the royal guards are stationed with the large column above it. There is a walkway to stairs which has a flip function to launch palpatine off the side and into the "reactor" or the edge of the table depending on your level of imagination. Double stair case(two black stair pieces) and a large platform with the correct details and a large detailed window piece like in the movie and the spin round chair. There are also catwalks on either side and one of them has a collapsing feature to knock Luke down under the stairs. At the top of the stairs there is a panel that flips up to launch Darth Vader down the stairs to recreate the moment when Luke kicks him down the staircase. Anakin vs. Obi wan ultimate duel £100- £150. There have been previous variations of this duel but none have managed to create it that faithfully. Includes: Obi wan Kenobi (rots with leg printing hood and cape and hair included also),Anakin skywalker (rots 2012 variation hood and hair and cape included). Padme Amidala (rots duel scene),C3PO ,Wat-tambor, 2x nemoidian guard, 2x security battle droids. Set consists of Padme's shuttle (as seen in rots) with opening flap which turns into a boarding ramp. Inside the ship there is a corridor area and a closet for obi wan to hide in. There is also a cockpit with controls and spinning chairs for 3PO and padme. The large part of the set consists of the landing platform where the fight begins with space for shuttle and fighting. The platform leads into the large building complex with a long catwalk into the building inside there are corridors with breaking tiles and the command centre is a large room with two big hologram tables and controls around and a feature to send obi and Anakin flying to opposite sides of the room. There is also the conference chamber which is fairly simple which leads out onto the lava vane which has a breaking/collapsing feature. As one of the most visually spectacular and iconic sequences of the star wars saga this would be a must own set and sell many copies. Good point! Yeah I agree with that! Wat tambor Lego figure? Could happen as we got poggle this year. Good point. Usually I would say that's a bit dark for Lego but then the lord of the rings sets undermine anyone who says that. I have to say a tusken raider one would be good I wonder if they'd do a new mold for the beasts that the tuskens keep. I don't imagine his mother would be included certainly not scarred anyway.. I agree I want a cw sidious damn it! I'd like to see Maul cw Mandalore version, pre vizsla cw s4 onwards and maybe even bo katan as she was pretty good in those episodes! An updated Hondo would be good! Who doesn't like Hondo? I WANT THEIR TONGUES!!! They could add leg printing as he wears a long coat! I never picked up either shuttle nor cloud city either! That is why I suggested them. The shuttle could do with a system version anyway. Tell you what I'd like to see a £40-£60 set of the final duel between Vader, luke and palpatine because even the death star (I don't have that wish I did) one was a bit too small. With a £60 set they could really do that scene justice of course with collapsing platforms and a catapult to launch Vader down the stairs after Luke kicks him

Good review but I think there have been better castles in the past. The interior seems a bit bare and the set doesn't look that foreboding and impressive as a castle should look, plus for that price the castle should look better and have a better overall design. The vampire monster fighters castle was £80 and that was huge inspiring and impressive looking plus very detailed and well designed and helm's deep in the lord of the rings line was £100 and had much more to it. The set they've done is just too simplistic after what has been done in the past and the minfigure amount is also low for such an expensive set.

Hope that the patriot is released like lex was over here in the uk as it was much easier just having a version of the game that included the figure on all platforms. I don't have a console I just grabbed the pc version for £18 with lex last year off amazon which was brilliant! Hope they do the same this year as with lex he was originally a GameStop exclusive but then when the game was released lex was included in a pack with the game in quite a few uk places!

Starfighter is similar design to ucs but minfigure scale. £24.99 Rescuing the chancellor includes Anakin (ep 3 variant but without the dark circles around the eyes),Obi wan (ep 3 variant with printed legs similar to cw 2013 version) and a cape, Count Dooku with an angry expression and a shocked expression and the chancellor with a smiling face and a sombre face in black robe seen in ep 3. Set includes chair in front of window piece for palpatine to sit captive, a platform with hand rails and with a door and back walls at the top and some stairs on each side. Play features include flipping function to flip Anakin and Dooku off the platform and a collapsing platform piece function for when count Dooku tries to crush obi wan with the platform. Smyth's have wizard battle to buy in shops according to website but not online. I'm just gonna wait til Argos gets them. Believe it or not the saruman set is the one I want the most just for minifigures. Saruman is my favourite lotr character so its lovely to see sir Christopher lee's fantastic character in Lego form.
