Now we can see batsy's belt properly it is without a doubt a beware the batman design figure. Not to sure about riddler's jacket though, that is odd to say the very least. Looking forward to see what they unveil over the next few days. Hope they unveil the line of figures like last year.

Indeed those designs are too cool! I like the joker's waistcoat and orange shirt. The batman one looks very cool as does the robin one. Heres hoping.

Yes indeed my fears exactly. Shame he doesn't get a suit this time but if this variant is not to good looking I'll just have to buy the 2012 one off eBay and get the set for batsy flash and batmobile. I withhold judgement til I see close up pictures. Might get the 2012 one anyway as him and Harley are the only dc figures other than arkham that I'm missing. Still roll on pictures when they come.

I agree hope it isn't a racing jacket as that would be annoying. the again due to the set's theme of racing the batmobile with riddler's Hot rod?? (I can't tell what the vehicle is really) This could suggest riddler is wearing a racing jacket like a motor car driver would wear. Hope it still has purple question marks on it though. Looks like something Jim Carrey's riddler would wear. All will be revealed once we have pictures.

I'm definitely looking forward to the figure of riddler close up pictures as from the angle in the vehicle you can't tell whether he is wearing a suit or something else as half of his torso is obscured by the engine/cockpit of the vehicle. The colours match up with his arkham one but there is no telling what the design is based on. Brickipedia says he is wearing a zipped up suit with light green flaps and purple underneath. Its a shame but I don't think it is his normal green suit and tie. I think this is Lego's own design and it won't look like his usual gettup. Which is a shame as the 2012 one was near perfect apart from hat colour.

I certainly hope so!!!!! The movie is a cinematic universe movie so really it should get at least one set as cap is probably going to and iron man 3 did so why should this be any different!

Except this year we have confirmation that the batman set will be unveiled at sddc so maybe they'll just unveil one set for each sub-theme and unveil the figures for the January wave. October will probably unveil an exclusive (if there is one) and maybe more of the sets for Jan 2014. Guessing by what we know so far about the superheroes sddc reveals so far.

That's what I assumed due to that and last year. last year they revealed all the figures and then shortly after they revealed a dc set and a marvel set. They also mentioned the exclusive (which was arkham) but they unvield that at another event I think. but that was the first confirmation of there being an exclusive winter big set. Could happen again this year.

When today can we expect pictures and unveiling news from comic con of the sets and figures unless that's happening another day. I just assumed it was today as that's what the usa today thing said. Its probably really early in the states right now isn't it? I'll check back about 5 it'll be about 10am ish by then over there won't it. Looking forward to what we see unveiled.

I'm not too keen on the dragster! I'd prefer a green and purple car similar to the one with the really circular roof. With opening doors and question marks stickered or printed on them and maybe a function hidden somewhere. The dragster seems to be all we are getting though riddler wise so that's a shame but at least we are getting a better design of riddler. I hold judgement til I see it in real pics tomorrow not cgi! I agree but the design is clearly the same batmobile as the show same with batman. The only thing changed is the size of the cockpit which is more circular in the show rather than the piece they have gone for. Batman is clearly that design as someone has pointed out due to his utility belt. No I'd prefer if they are focussing on bats for them to do unmade villains that we actually know in his rogue's gallery Ras al ghul, croc, man-bat, deathsroke ,black mask, etc. Rather than those two villains. They had comedy value but that was about it. I just think it will be bats and his vehicles which might have an influence from the show.

Ok its conclusive now. That batmobile is definitely a beware the batman version. Notice the large gold wheels,the headlights, the gold opaque cockpit and the clincher the engines at the back look identical to the ones in the show as does the wide front. Once we see the vehicle with the back bit down we can be truly sure but the whole design is almost 100 percent identical to the beware the batman batmobile. Another thing. This batmobile is only suitable for one person to sit in and has a red and black interior. It is almost like they made the design for the show based on Lego's usual bat-vehicle traits. So for those complaining it is only a 1 seater. There (this time at least) is a logical reason for that! I'm anticipating proper photos tomorrow along with whatever else they unveil. I'm hoping they unveil a marvel set and the marvel and dc figures for wave 1 of 2014.

Yes I'd like something penguin related! I never got the arkham set but I have the original penguin figure. I hope it comes with penguin minions if we ever got a set like that. Do you know what would be cool but maybe only this vehicle and not the character styles this: as I'd say the 2013 variant of pengers is based on the burgess Meredith version then that would be cool to see this! With some pirates. and joker riddler, batman and robin and maybe another superhero.

not sure about non batman villains as it appears this wave may be focussed on bats but there hopefully are more superheroes coming: cough green lantern!! cough cough. Sorry I think I've caught something!

Just thought people are saying that riddler's arms are different colour to torso perhaps he is wearing a waistcoat? Or a body warmer . I was kidding on the second one there... Or was I.... Yeah I missed arkham 1 but I more want to see batgirl and Alfred and villains like croc, al ghul, man bat etc. than Nightwing. C'mon Lego we need some new design or variation of Alfred! Huh the quiz TV show that's on in the background (can't be asked to turn off television) just had a question on what is the riddler's real alias ,the silly woman went for the option Harley Quinn!!!

I have reason to believe judging by what we can see of him in the cockpit and the design of the batmobile that those two features are based on "BEWARE THE BATMAN" a new animated television computer generated series that premiered on US television last week. I managed to catch an episode of it on yt and was impressed the only thing I disliked were the villains! Batman himself looks awesome. I posted a picture back a page of what he looks like and judging by the gold utility belt and black symbol which is that design. I hope that is a suit the riddler is wearing. I love the bowler hat. Please give us a Lego cane in gold Lego!!! If these are loosely based then the credits symbol log would be cool to see on the box as it looks very cool and is very reminiscent of btas.:

I'd certainly be happy if when they show the figures off tomorrow as usual they show a green lantern as he is a crucial JL member even if he only guest stars in a set. same bat's ride from 2012 is awesome, this looks like a nice design to add to the collection.

Anyone notice the wider cockpit and windshield for the batmobile? Probs to accommodate his cape. Hopefully the batsymbol is printed on that piece. also noticed you can sort of see batman he is wearing a completely black suit with hints of dark grey armour? and the batsymbol is black and has no circle around it and looks similar to tdk one or the one on the windshield. In fact the suit seems similar to the comic con 2011 one but clearly isn't that one. I'd definitely say he is wearing the beware suit. or some variation of it. Another thought if they are doing sets loosely based off that show. Does that mean Alfred will have a bowler hat a suit and no bowtie or beard/moustache and look like a retired James bond? If so... awesome! This could mean Alfred is fighting in one of the sets with bats. Also the cowl on bats is the bigger one again probably cause the one he uses in the show is quite large.

Judging by the price range and what happened in 2012 it is increasingly likely that Batman will dominate the dc line again this year with all 6 sets in January being devoted to our dear dark knight maybe with one normal dc set following the pattern last year. personally I think if they do a dc set non batman in a line where all other sets are batman it will either be another mos or an arrow based set. So I'd guess including the riddler chase, we can expect 4 other batman sets possibly starring other superheroes as helpers and perhaps batman's own helpers such as Nightwing, Alfred and batgirl will be present. This is the £29.99 one like with the batwing and joker's helicopter so we could still have on the way a £79.99 flagship set which is most likely batman again. A £39.99 batman set which could be like the funhouse in size unless they make it an mos set, a £20 dc set mos or arrow I'd predict unless the other one is one of those is the dc set. And a small £12 set which could very well be an arrow set so the rest of the line can focus on batman. Finally the £50 set like the bank robbery size. This I know will be quite disappointing for some of the people who wanted dc's Lego range to expand to cover other dc superheroes solo lines rather than just bats and supes if my predictions are correct that is. I would not be surprised if it went something like this: £79.99 Wayne manor set with a vehicle for which ever villain (hopefully al ghul). £50 set some situation of crime with bats and maybe another hero against either two villains and a henchman or a villain and two henchmen. £39.99 set like funhouse with batman and maybe some exclusives like batgirl and Nightwing and two exclusive villains and maybe a recycled one ala joker in funhouse. riddler batman chase thingy we've seen so that leaves two sets maybe one bats and one green arrow or mos. That is predictions based on what we know! I may be wrong but I could see this happening. On the bright side we could get a few missing bat-heroes and villains and some guest heroes maybe. Just a prediction we'll find out as the weeks pass. I personally like the set as the design of the batmobile is cool and they've ditched the yellow and gone for gold on the symbols and wheels and batsy's belt. Riddler looks cool and his vehicle is perfectly wacky enough to think a guy like him would drive that around. The flash is awesome so glad we are getting him. Overall good for £30 as the last batmobile was in a £50 set! Hopefully flash's inclusion means that they will be including other superheroes in this wave to help bats on his missions and maybe Alfred and batgirl and Nightwing may make appearances along with some more of his rogue's gallery. I'm hoping so. Looking forward to tomorrow to see what they reveal figure and set wise.

Remember guys this is probably not the only unveiling for 2014. the dc line usually consists of six sets same as marvel and dc don't have any big summer movies this year so all of the dc sets will most likely be in 2014 January. This is as they say only the tip of the iceberg. They hopefully will reveal something marvel and some figures for dc and marvel like last year I hope. Yes I remember they revealed the figures from 2014 then they revealed bugle and the dark knight rises set at the con. Hopefully something like that happens this year. Plus we are still missing two 2013 sets so there could be an exclusive2013 set for dc on the way and a set for marvel as we got a total of six sets for each line last year so we are missing one for each line perhaps...... Its is loosely based thankfully no professor pyg..... I think it is just the design of the car and maybe batman. There doesn't appear to be any cw style eyes and facial features either!! TBH the beware the batman bat suit is really cool and sleek. I watched an episode yesterday and it was quite different but very modern and enjoyable. Wasn't too keen on the villains though. Hope they bring some regulars in at some point. Like joker and riddler a sign they will maybe..... Back on topic I will definitely get this set as I didn't get the riddler from the funhouse set and this has more cooler figures in it. it is clearly the beware version batman as you can see his belt and a black suit identical to this one:
