That would be amazing. especially Christmas palpatine. His robe would probably work quite well in red. With a red hood and cape as well of course. Nice ideas! I love the idea of the throne room duel. that set has needed an update for a good few many years, it could have collapsing walkways and the double staircase and the windows. It could also have a feature where you launch poor old palps into the reactor core.

I'd like to see an updated Grand Moff Tarkin As they have better hair and printing he is due for an update. I'd also like to see Emperor palpatine from episode 3 or six for that matter with leg printing and a more accurate colour for his skin. Worm tongue's Lego figure (lotr) head colour a sort of light tan would work quite nicely. He wasn't quite flesh but more of a paler cream colour in complexion. I'd also like to see Luke in flesh with his cloud city garb as we don't have a version of that in flesh. padme from ep 3 would be good like how she appeared on mustafar. An updated Vader with some leg printing and maybe blue and red (instead of green and red) buttons on his chest piece like he appeared in Empire.

If I'm honest I was highly underwhelmed by their lack of good deathly hallows sets. The final year of harry potter Lego was abysmal considering how good the 2010 range was. The tower and bridge thing was a decent add on but was unnecessary and had no new designs only redesigns. Plus for the battle of Hogwarts there was practically no sets. After seeing what they did in the video game 5-7 with character designs for hallows and with the story. It really makes the harry in uniform figures look terrible. A missed opportunity the 2011 line for harry potter 7 part 2 considering it was such a large movie. Heck the lone ranger sets were better and had more and that film was hardly anticipated and bombed. On the matter at hand I'd say smaug would be moulded like the castle ones but with some brick built parts. A bit like the horntail but much larger. Boga the lizard in star wars had a lot of moulding but some brick built parts too. If you look at the size of Bilbo figure and the size of the largest new T rex's I'd say that sort of size head and maybe body would be perfect.

I agree the horse needed to be in the Colby city one in my opinion as it is seen there in the film. I'll probably end up picking up the smallest one and the train one anyway but it would have been nice if it had been in one other set.

Yes but Lego's target audience are more likely to have seen the Robert Downey jr films of 2009 and 2011 than read the books of Conan Doyle. Yes some of the older ones might have but younger children may find them complex with the way they were written and the complex language. I doubt Lego would make a license of Sherlock Holmes unless there was a modern movie adaptation of it. They are planning another WB Holmes film for the near future(2015). As Lego have an existing and past arrangements with warner bros over harry potter, Lord of the rings/the hobbit and Man of steel I'd imagine if a new movie of the Sherlock Holmes franchise came out and warner wanted it made into a construction toy they would most likely turn to Lego to do it.

Enjoyed the movie immensely. Not all sets are entirely accurate but they have escaped Lego iron man 3 line syndrome. All of the characters look fairly accurate and the sets are very well designed. Wish with the train being based on one of the biggest moments had been a bit larger. It could've done with maybe another carriage and loose the Gatling gun or just have it separate off the train. Apart from that, Lego has done a Stirling job and I will be picking the rest up as I have the bank one now. The bank could be used for anything really and the design of both buildings is seamless. Perhaps silver the horse should have been included rather than the wheelbarrow as he is present in two of the scenes involving the town.

Use moe's shotgun to eject the drunkards from the bar and stop barney from raiding the duff truck. To be quite honest I'm looking forward to the Mr burns figure which was mentioned in the set list! Just him being made a character is pretty brilliant.

The film dabbles in action yet still stays true to the intellectual basis of the books and the character. They are actually fine films. I would definitely recommend them. A game of shadows is loosely based on the final problem and Jared hariss plays an exceptional moriarty. If Lego went down that road though they'd have to do what they did with Indiana Jones. have a wave of sets for Sherlock Holmes 1 and 2 and then have a wave for the new movie. Would be quite successful I'd say judging by the last two film's cinema takings.

I think if there was a Sherlock Holmes license it would be either a license based on the films of 2009 and 2011 and the third that is rumoured to be in production or a classic non-movie Sherlock Holmes like the Granada itv television series with Jeremy Brett. If Sherlock (bbc)ever became a construction toy then character options would definitely have the monopoly on it as they already do doctor who. Sherlock and doctor who are both made by the bbc and both by the same parts of bbc under Steven Moffat. Due to character having an existing deal with bbc then it would be like the Disney thing with Lego. Anything Disney wanted in Lego would become a construction set. Character will basically make the TV show toys bbc want them to make.

A bit late to the party due to account problems but here are my thoughts on the January wave: The Battle Pack for Kashyk looks like some lovely new clone figures I am glad to see they are giving us lots of clones for this clearly ep 3 based wave. The death star one could be useful once as the royal guards are good to have but not in bulk. The two vehicles of the bps aren't that. inspiring. Not to sure on the blasters those look like a step backward rather than forward. Now the recruitment sets I like the idea of getting some wanted figures such as the clones especially as I have none of those figures minus the droids. I am especially happy to see a cheap way to get a what looks like redesigned face han solo as I only have the medal one. Anakin's interceptor must be relatively cheap, as it only has two minifigures. The design and minfigure variants are spot on. Will definitely be picking that one up! General grievous wheel bike is slightly disappointing due to boga being sadly absent. I would have liked to see him updated with printing. I like that they have finally given obi wan a rots accurate costume with leg printing and the brown undershirt showing at the neck and the right tunic printing Grievous looks similar to his clone wars variant in the minfigure pictures. I hope he gets his two toned cape and perhaps a more movie styled face. The atap looks a bit pricey for me. With only two unique minifigures it doesn't really interest me. Salucemi could be good, although it looks just like a repackage of other sets combined with a new figure. The Droid Gunship is a big draw due to it's new printed Chewbacca!! Which is the most accurate I have ever seen! Can't wait to see that in reality. Other figures look good too. Wonder where the police gunship and tri fighter are. I've heard there is a rots palpatine in the tri fighter can anyone confirm this? I also think the vulture is a bit big as in the movie it is just a bit smaller than a Jedi interceptor.

The TDKR one would be very cool. for the manor though I reckon it would contain more minfigs: Bruce(different design),Alfred, batman,Nightwing, Ras al ghul, a recycled villain and a new villain maybe death stroke. I would think we'd also get a car for Bruce that could maybe transform into a bat vehicle. TBH they will probably not reuse the joker again and give us someone else new. I'd like to see for the dc one like they did with supes in 2012 one with arrow and dark archer from the TV series. Also I'd like to see another batman and hero team up set with green lantern maybe they could be fighting killer croc or someone more powerful.

Judging by what we know that could indeed be the reason. Perhaps the winter wave is made up of asm and usm Spiderman a comic set and thor the dark world. The may wave could be made up of captain America 2 and maybe gotg or if not that then if fox and Lego have a deal we could get days of future past sets in the summer. I wouldn't hold my breath though. To be quite honest how I see it going is: USM, Thor and a comic set Jan 2014 then captain America 2 and Amazing Spiderman 2 in the spring wave. then maybe gotg in the summer. True you could just add some fire pieces if you wanted to illustrate his powers or as Lego encourage, use imagination.

Definitely Coulson is a possibility to get in a 2014 set, Stan could be in one too maybe but I reckon he would be in maybe a marvel visual dictionary or a superheroes character encyclopedia.

Do not forget ASM 2 is out in some countries including the uk in April. In order to build up excitement for the ASM 2 film they would have to release the sets in march at the latest so January could be them getting ahead of the game. I highly doubt that gotg sets will be in January because the movie probably won't even get a commercial trailer until march-may. I reckon in the January sets there may be some usm and some thor the dark world maybe and maybe 1 comic based set(either F4 or X-men most likely). The march-may spring wave will most likely from what we've heard be captain America 2 and ASM2. Then there will probably be one or two sets in summer for gotg. It would be the most logical way to do it unless thor the dark world set/s? appear this oct or something.

The character will most likely be unlockable in game anyway (which is this year) as he is such a well known character. I really reckon he meant in a set. I mean if they are doing more usm in January (like fwoosh said) then that is really the character to go with next as he still is the biggest antagonist of the television series and also I thought very well done not nearly as cringe worthy as other marvel villains in the show. I also hope Coulson turns up maybe in the same set! They can't make a videogame character and not gives us a Lego figure! That gun he is holding looks cool! Hopefully that turns up in a set with him. I like big fig lizard from the trailer and definitely want to see him!

Clark Gregg?! That's good news as the one in the earlier this year preview times square walkthrough definitely wasn't Gregg so hopefully that was just a preview in the early stages of the game back then. But Gregg voicing Coulson in the game is just awesome! I'm hoping to see him in a usm set in 2014.

Indeed just look at that azog mould! Two new moulds for one figure! I would not be surprised if more batman villains such as croc, man bat, Ras and clay face turn up in 2014.
