USA exclusive patriot... A great pity! I suppose he'll appear on ebay at some point and loyal non USA fans will be forced to pay £20 or over for him . God i'm beginning to hate theese USA exclusives. Jor el will probs be uk as well as USA if he is in a lego shop promo in june like hulk. If not then i am one unhappy customer. Lego do remember that you are originally a european company and the USA is not your original home market.....

Finally a crowe figure. The face is awesome and the suit is quite different to superman's. As many have said before this is what he wears underneath his armour in his costume. If this is a promo then i will spend the required ammount to get him with my purchase.

Savin is bald in the film and never wears a suit like the one in the set.

Just tried your mod for Warmachine and he looks awesome! Way better than lego's design and simpler don't know why lego didn't just use it. Love theese renders lets hope lego takes it in their infinite wisdom to create a real "iron man 3" movie line.

I saw the movie yesterday and was really annoyed with lego afterward!!! Not one of the sets was remotely accurate to the movie scenes. There were so many sensational action sequences that deserve lego recreation. So many suits and characters and variants that will never most likely see the light of day. This cannot be even considered an iron man 3 movie line with perhaps the exception of the mansion. You dropped the ball Lego, big time! Not impressed. Not at all!

Just a thought but if you displayed it with gandalf being rescued by the eagle then how the devil would you get the eagle displayed up next to the top of the tower!!! You'd have to make a 28 inch tower of translucent cylinder/column pieces. It would be quite an amusing sight! A leaning monstorous tower of translucent blocks with a tiny eagle perched precariously on top of it Imagine what would happen if it fell over it would take out the top section of the tower on the way down!!

Same tonite!!! Extremely excited!!!!! I got the two bigger iron man 3 sets yesterday to celebrate! Contrary to people's belief i think the mandarin figure is really cool and nicely blends together comic and movie variations. It does seem strange that most of the big action sequences mentioned in the trailers such as the whole airforce one thing and the big battle havent been turned into sets but there is always hope for an exclusive battle set later in the year as marvel had a spiderman exclusive last year. Maybe they will go the same way dc went with arkham with a battle set. If they are saving patriot for a bigger set then that could be the reason we arent getting him now.... It makes suprisingly a lot of sense.

Thats a bit rubbish. They could've just left the other licensed themes alone and just gone with star wars glued.I guess they may have been preempting license disagreements with other manufacturers though. In my humble opinion lego figures detail wise beat hasbro's star wars figures any day of the week. That does say something about hasbro though if lego can get more of a character likeness on an even smaller face.

Good point but those were team GB minifigures so lego made the decision that they would be more suited to specifically a british audience. Iron man however is a superhero who has worldwide acclaim and is not specific to just one country so it would be wiser to release and iron man exclusive or even bilbo who is also well known and of british origin, orldwide not just the United states. I was just making a point that it seems the US get better and more exclusives than other countries and that it would be better if the patriot was a worldwide thing. Sorry if there are some mistakes in the text my keyboard is going haywire i'm gonna have to get it fixed..... Exactly my point!

I certainly hope not as bilbo was an american exclusive! It wouldn't be fair to just release a character as sought after as the iron patriot with a special edition blu ray that is just released to the US. Us over in the uk and every other country missed out on that exclusive and if the same was done with Iron Patriot that would be intolerable as he is a pivotal character to the iron man 3 collection. Nice thought though as long as it is an international thing as well as the U.S! I wouldn't be suprised if he was released at some point in some way shape or form. It would be a shame if he wasn't.

Do remember christopher lee is 90 years old. He might need a bit of help getting up and lego have clearly picked up on that lol. Can't wait for the HD photos hopefully we will get a look at saruman like the gandalf the white one we got earlier from grogal.

Looks decent but oh no the return of the dreaded cheekbones.You can't make a face look thinner by printing lines on it lego! Please accept that!! I thought that after pepper potts they would just use a similar face for lois as there were no cheekbones visible on that figure and she looked young and similar to how i expected black widow should have looked. Also i have just noticed that lois is sporting a suspiciously similar head to black widow the facial expression is so similar it could be the old head with some tweaks made on the front side of face and a new back printed face. At this rate mary jane if they ever make her may look similar to the backside mermaid face on the mermaids from whitecap bay!! The set itself looks alright but it seems strange the platform is just hovering in the middle of nowhere despite not being part of the speeder. Unless in the film in reality this is the exit to the ship and the scenery is on the ship which is hovering nearby? Only time will tell. I do like zod and supes though.

Awesome moc the camera angle really adds to the illusion of height of the bridge! The gunshot technique is amazing!!!! Good job!!!!

No it wasn't!!In the UK I received the quinjet for my birthday on 1st july 2012 and I had the hulk polybag free with it because quinjet was over £50, after the polybag was released in early may. They may have reissued it in oct. I assure you it is fact,that they released in originally in may. I really hope they release that over here as they have only advertised a US date for the blu ray/dvd. It would be a real cop out if they didn't.

Saruman and Dooku's shared head is double sided with a scowl so dooku doesn't have to have the grin although he has grinned like that before. Both figures look wonderful and the dooku is the most accurate and brilliantly detailed dooku we have ever recieved. Be thankful lego even decided to give us a prequel flesh dooku. All the sets of lotr this year look awesome and i'll pick up all four and hopefully if it comes out orthanc too!!!

Oakenshield is definitley my favourite and the best in my opinion!

I would imagine next year we will get two Thor sets in the January wave and two Batman sets. Then in april to build up to captain america 2 perhaps three cap sets like they did with iron man 3 but then again it could be more as there are no big DC movies next year. Could be a great year for minifigs though as with thor 2 we would most likely get Malekith,Odin,Thor, jane foster probably some dark elves and of course lego would never miss an opportunity to release another loki but hopefully heimdal and the warriors three would be made. Captain america wise we could finally get a movie style nick fury,the winter soldier,captain america,steve rogers,Crossbones who is the apparent villain of the film and maybe a better variant of black widow (absent of cheekbones??) as she is appearing also. What i'd really like is one of the sets to be a first avenger set so we could finally get hugo weaving's red skull. I wonder what the exclusive large winter set would be though as we've had arkham last year so if it had to be DC then i'd like to finally see a wayne manor as we still miss alfred,batgirl,nightwing etc. Another variant of bruce in a different suit colour would be nice if included and maybe some exclusive villain like ras al ghul (i would kill for a figure of him especially neeson's ) Most people think it might be marvel and if so i would hope for a helicarrier or stark tower but there are numerous posibilities of other locations. Helicarrier: movie nick fury,agent hill,agent coulson,shield agents,bruce banner,the hulk. Stark tower: stark(black sabbath),iron man,loki,dr selvig,pepper,thor,more chitauri,the hulk (dark purple pants like in movie and maybe even banner in a tatty shirt. The tower or helicarrier could be the pride of the superheroes line if they just made one of them. Just some ideas

The coat colour is inaccurate as the one shown in the Unexpected Journey promo shots was dark blue but that could just be the light. I hope the waistcoat is not orange like it looks there as it in the movie and in the promo shots is a creamy gold and has a pattern on it, a bit like merry's waistcoat colour.Who knows that may be a preliminary and the figure may look entirely different in person! Hope this blu ray version is availiable in the uk at some point i love exclusive figures.Probably would have been better with just the waistcoat though for when gandalf first meets him outside bag end.Still a great figure nonetheless.

If they made that i'd buy anything from lego to get him!! Thinking about it i wouldn't be suprised if we got flesh sidious next year in a wave of rots sets!!!! A redesign woud be in order as dooku,anakin,obi wan,padme etc have had ones this year.
