Yes but this white orc mentioned surely must be azog which means we will probably get him in the dol Guldur set.

I hope not doom as we got him in USM already! Malekith would make sense as maybe they would tie in the characters in this set, e.g. thor with Malekith to tie in for thor the dark world without releasing a set based on that movie (which is a pity). It seems odd to me that they would make sets for a run of the mill (rather dull in my opinion) TV show rather than making ones for money making big budget blockbusters such as thor 2 and cap 2. It just isn't a good product and marketing decision. Plus we already have the avengers members from the movie line. Falcon could've just been in the cap 2 set had they made the right decision. Then again the fact we may be getting hydra troops, modok and red skull then perhaps this has it's benefits! Still marvel not making sets for one of their biggest films of 2014 and a possible standout 2013 movie is just a risky decision that these "avengers sets" will gather more interest than movie sets would have. What I want to know is who is this black hooded guy? I guess this means the sets are Comic/TV show based which is a pity really as a thor the dark world set would've been excellent. The hooded guy could be either grim reaper or if they are tying these in with thor 2 it could be Malekith. the captain America one sounds loosely based on the movie or it could be a comic based set with the green figure being a comic styled hydra soldier. The other figure could be red skull or maybe winter soldier. Modok sounds interesting enough certainly nice to have a new villain in a set. The Spiderman sets don't sound that interesting certainly if they are TV show based and not Amazing Spiderman 2 sets. The yellow and green minfigure sounds like sandman which is good news as he is one of the main villains and a member of the sinister six. The doctor octopus doesn't sound brilliant as we already have the black hair version. I hope it may be the variant from the videogame but that's unlikely. The other two people hopefully are Coulson and power man or white tiger and Coulson. the batman sets sound good as we already know about batgirl and joker and man bat however the shark underwater set??? is contradictory to what we were told about one of the sets being man bat and a helicopter and batman and someone else. I'm very glad to see that the goblin and his glider even in big fig form is getting into a set. the Spidey and octopus set could be a junior one mixed up with another set.

Perhaps the necromancer summons all the orcs to him to join into one big army and Gandalf and radagast are fighting him. Bolg is in the movie promo photo posted is in Dol Guldur so maybe azog and bolg and the necromancer fight Gandalf radagast and a load of elves and you combine the sets to make a huge battle.

I strongly agree! Ras Al Ghul would be amazing as would Deathstroke, Killer Croc, Black Mask or Talia. I'm hoping in the next few years we will see those specific villains.

Judging by what has been said about the hobbit:dos I would imagine she would appear with the white council vs the necromancer(Dol Guldur battle) in the next wave of hobbit sets.

We already know from what PJ said in empire magazine that the dwarves have their final confrontation with smaug near the end of the film. He said this involves a lot of artillery and a mightily annoyed dragon. In the trailer it shows one of the dwarves firing a catapult in the ruins of dale presumably at smaug. Fran Williamson said the action sequences near to the end of this film are bigger than anything PJ has ever done before. I'm guessing we will have the battle at Dol Guldur intercut with the battle with the dragon as the big finale. Based on what has been said this is what I expect from Dol Guldur set: Gandalf, radagast, Galadriel, saruman, sauron, orcs maybe thranduil if he gets involved. A large fortress around helm's deep size but ruined and the small set will probably be Elrond in his armour maybe on a horse with another elf and two orcs and maybe a bit of fortress to be connected.

It is a decently designed set but the thing the bugs me is there is no conflict. The figures are nicely detailed but there are no main heroes to save the day. The last one had Luke, han and Lando! This one just seems bland. It is a nice ship with some detailed figures but that's it. There is nothing there to make you excited to get the set. There is no conflict leia is just sitting there. This is just a poor excuse not to make large sets with a lot in them anymore. The last barge had a skiff and a sarlacc. I understand the skiff set already exists but there were two in the film. If Lego had put a skiff in this set with han and chewie and a gamorean guard then this set would've been great as then you could by combining it with the skiff set accurately recreate the sequence from the film. had that been the set then I would have got it to put with the skiff set but sadly I must decline this set as to me it is a flying boat with some nice figures. Without a bit of conflict it puts me off the set as it seems well... humdrum. I think I'll go with the gunship this year as that is one of the best redesigns of a set I've seen in a long time! Plus it has conflict and a varied selection of minifigures to recreate a cool battle. Plus if you combine the Geonosis sets together you get an amazing battle! Maybe next year the flagship OT set of the summer will be less humdrum. My vote goes for the emperor's throne room if they are going for JEDI scenes. Very good review though!

the person said that there were two villains other than the joker so we could see two new villains. My hopes are killer croc and death stroke, Mad hatter or red hood perhaps as they are associated with the joker. But yeah croc how he appeared in the batman 2 videogame with ripped trousers and green legs would be awesome. Deathstroke I only say because he is in arrow and arkham origins at the moment. The figure I want the most is Ras al ghul but he wouldn't really associate himself with joker would he. Unless he has been hired like joker and deathstroke to get batman. Unlikely but a man can dream.

I reckon the Dol Guldur one will most likely also include the necromancer who is confirmed to play a large role in the film. His true identity has pretty much been revealed in this trailer. This is how I could imagine the set judging by what has been shown: Gandalf, radagast , The necromancer, a few orcs and as was confirmed by the German cinema magazine possibly Galadriel and saruman. Edit whoops didn't see you already put sauron. Elrond is appearing in this film according to imdb but in what capacity is currently unknown. My guess is he goes with the rest of the council to fight sauron and the small set is an add on to dol Guldur as some one hinted when the names got mixed up.

The fact that joker and batman are there with batgirl pretty much confirms batgirl will be the hero in the steamroller. So who are the other two villains I wonder?

Totally incredible! I expect good things for this movie. Now Lego that there has been more story aspects shown I say we should see some official pictures of the sets.

That would be brilliant as they aren't at comic con new York this year. They unveiled the last lot of sets of the hobbit in oct at that convention. they have to give us some new images and ideas on what the sets are soon in an official announcement as they supposedly hit stores in nov!

That would be great as it would give us villain wise next year judging by sets rumoured: Joker (new variant), penguin (new variant or carry over), riddler (new variant) killer croc, manbat,mad hatter. Which for four sets is a lot of new villain designs and new villains.

Has anyone noticed that the joker's facial expression has changed in this variant? from a full smile to a smirk/half smile! Anyways this joker variant just looks great! Its nice to have a new variant suit for joker and with a new expression and hat even better. lightningtiger is definitely right it is a very jack Nicholson vibe with the blue waistcoat and orange shirt. The hat I think is a nice addition as the joker appeared with and without it often. Also I wonder as joker and riddler are different in these sets whether penguin is going to be different from his design in the arkham asylum breakout. Food for thought

That batgirl is amazing! What Lego can do mold wise nowadays is staggering. The hair and mask is just superb! this is clearly the new 52 design. This is clearly what they based the design of gold gloves and all hopefully this means a purple cape. Using the new 52 look is no surprise to me and in my opinion looks slicker and cooler. If batgirl ever appeared in a modern batman movie then this would be the perfect costume.

Yeah definitely retail exclusive or USM set those I fear are the only ways unless they release either the game story on blu ray like with batman or finally do a helicarrier set in 2015 for avengers 2.

agreed we really need a Coulson. There are four possibilities there. 1. he appears in an ultimate spider man set, 2. he appears in either cap 2 or thor 2 and they throw him into one of the two sets, 3. they do a retailer or Lego exclusive agents of shield set, 4. they finally do a helicarrier as a dc2 winter exclusive either next or this year and he comes in that.

Based on what we has been confirmed about the 4 batman sets I can see these minifigures appearing. The penguin £12.99 set is obviously going to include pengers and batman and his robot minions apparently? The Man Bat set is said to include Batman, man bat and another hero they reckoned either robin or Nightwing. riddler chase we know about Joker steamroller: the joker apparently appears in a new hat with 2 other villains and another hero apart from batman. My thoughts on this are the villains could be either Deathstroke and Dark Archer, Deathstroke and killer croc or deathstroke and black mask unless they are recycling scarecrow from 2013. Hero wise I reckon it is one of four possibles: green arrow, batgirl, Alfred from BTB who is younger and a former mi6 agent or green lantern. I reckon green lantern could happen but very unlikely due to the setting of the set (a city). green arrow is quite possible as he has been in the public eye a lot and is currently very popular and in the media focus. Batgirl is once again a likely candidate as a member of the bat family who hasn't made her way into any sets and a popular and requested Lego character. Alfred from BTB animated series could be very possible as the new batman and bat mobile appear to be based off the show and it would be a way of putting Alfred into a set without it being Wayne manor as Alfred in the TV series is more spry and very action orientated.
