It is also mention on the mercedes homepage. https://www.mercedes-benz.com/en/mercedes-benz/vehicles/passenger-cars/amg-gt/ FYI, the mercedes made 2018 amg gtr's first debut at 2016 goodwood festival of speed, and amg gtr black series & roadster is soon coming out. So, the amg gt family members will be: amg gt, amg gt roadster, amg gtc roadster, amg gtc edition 50, amg gtr, amg gtr, amg gtr black series, amg gtr roadster. Please leave comments if anything is wrong

Thanks @I_Igor, @BrickbyBrickTechnic. This Sunday, I will be working on DNR gear selector and the paddle shift.

Current status: 8+N+R gearbox, D-N-R shifter, and the engine done. Also some color matchings and a little bit of interior --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, everyone. Today, I would like to introduce my new moc in progress (and the first to post here). It's Mercedes AMG GT R. (in 1:8, with porsche wheels&Tires) (From https://www.autoevolution.com/news/black-mercedes-amg-gt-r-does-insane-nurburgring-passes-110677.html) I'm planning to make it in black, as 3x11 curved black panels are available now. If amg gtr convertible model comes out, I want to try the convertible mechanism, too. My current status is only up to the drivetrain (engine&gearbox) And this is it. It's a 8 speed gearbox, with D-N-R which I built by myself. At first, I was goint to use charbel's 8 speed gearbox, which is awesome, but soon found out that the gear ratios aren't realistic (the last gear is 45 times faster than the first gear.) This gearbox is also combination of a common 4 speed gearbox and 2 speed gearbox, but different in the fact that the 2 speed gearbox is shifted every 90 degrees, and the 4speed gearbox is shifted every 180 degrees. And that resulted in a realitic gear ratio... in which the last gear is 6.25 times faster than the first gear. The hardest part was the mechanism to make one shift in the 4 speed gearbox while the paddel shift (which is not built yet) is shifted twice. The mechanism is here: Here's the sifting video: Under the chassis, you can see the D-N-R selector, which the gearstick to shift it is not built yet. As I only have times on Sunday afternoons, the progress will be very slow, but I will finish it sometime, so don't be angry even if the progress is slow. Comments are welcome, and advices are also welcome. Thanks. Oh, I missed some explanations on the gearbox. The 4 speed gearbox is just the regular one, with 1:1 to 1:5, and the 2 speed gearbox is 1:1 to 1:1.25 which doesn't work yet as currently I don't have any chains. The chains are also linked to reverse gear.

Thanks all

@Slegengr Thanks for your help! So, if I upload to brickshelf and then embed it to eurobricks, does the image come out automatically?

When I try to upload pictures, the notification says that I can only upload up to 20.48 kb. And whenever I upload pictures it gets smaller and smaller. What's happening to me? I'm currently working on an moc, and I would like to upload wip pictures but I can't because of this. Please help me!

Well, if you still want to do it with those tires, I'm not going to argue about it any more. Sorry if my comments sounded like offence, but please think that I only wanted to help you. Whatever, I am really looking forward to seeing more progress.

Though I'm not the one who built it, but those seem to be 1x2 thin liftarms(which is used instead of the cam).

The headlight seems to need some change. After the headlights of the real car, the curve of the round-shaped lights continues on and on. However, in your creation, after the light, the shape suddenly becomes rectangular, which would not be in harmony with the flow of the curve.
-
Not to offend, but the wheels & tires are quite off the scale... the tires are too thin(from side) I think unimog tires and wheels will be nicer for its wheel:tire ratio. Also those modern-looking spokes are quite odd on a 1962's car.

Befor talking about the lipo, nimh is also okay and this is the reason why: when we say a nimh cell is 1.2v, it means it is 1.2v on the everage. If you look at the discharge rate curve of both alkarine 1.5v cell and nimh 1.2v cell, actually the 1.2v nimh cell is usually at the higher votage than the other. you can take a look at the curves here And I can't understand how they made a 1.5v lipo cell. But I still suggest to use nimh cells as they are more stable and easy to deal with than the lipo cells. If you would use nimh cells, I suggest eneloop nimh. By the way, zn mno2 means alkarine.(at the discharge curve)

Your youtube channel is strange.... I can watch the arduino test video and the servo motors test video, but once I get into your channel, I can't see where they are.

Wow! A lot of functions even it's not a big model. Thanks for sharing your creation!

That is way better! Btw, after you changed the design, this 2parts (panel + bionicle tooth) looks like another headlight (which looks better than the other one).
