  1. This is amazing. An engineering marvel. When I was younger, I lived on a sailboat for a year (even had to be hoisted to the top of the mast for maintenance). Thank for bringing back nice memories!
  2. I normally don't like such bright color but the torquiose works for me. I do agree with earlier comment that it clashes with small building. Maybe orange or medium dark flesh for smaller building would look better?
  3. You are such an artist (Windows on a couple of my buildings were influenced by Windows from your blue house). For this one, I really like the use of classy and upscale shapes and colors. Nicely done.
  4. Nicely done. Can't wait to see the finished project.
  5. I also really like it. It's enough of a departure from the original set, that it is exciting to look at the detail. I was also drawn to the rare notched sand green brick that I wish I had some extras just sitting around. ;-)
  6. This is awesome looking. I would also buy this set. You made it look convincing enough enough its sand. I agree with Mesabi. You are going to have sand stuck in your crack! Umm...I hope I don't get banned for that one.
  7. I wasn't sure about the outside and almost didn't get past it. Feels like doorway should be centered with taller and more spread out pillars and taller first floor. Possibly more texture/features on first floor. I normally don't provide this much critique as it all comes down to personal taste. However, only doing it because in total it's excellent. I was totally blown away by the interior and lighting! By the time I got to the fourth picture where the three are sitting around the desk, I could hear The Godfather theme music playing.
  8. This is awesome! I have been wanting to make this car and now glad I did not as I would have been disappointed with mine after seeing yours! I also like the flippers although not sure about the yellow. Would be interesting to see the black flippers on the white car.
  9. I'm pretty sure sure this will be a one of a kind. ;-). That's the great thing about lego that whatever your interests are, you can make something that represents your passion. Very nice work on the olive green shingle house. Not an easy color to grab enough of.
  10. "You wanna get outta here? You talk to me." I'm such a huge fan of the Mad Max movies. I also like how you were able to capture the shape at such a small size. I built one awhile back but had to resort to larger. Looks cool how you captured the light shine on that second photo.
  11. That is hilarious. I was out with the kids yesterday at a theme park and it looked just like this with people walking around with their phones. One guy was even holding two phones, one in each hand. Nice job capturing the craziness! (Ok - I confess that we were looking for pokemons as well)
  12. Thank you much for sharing. I always like looking at others towns to obtain ideas for our city. I have done a few posts that included pieces of it, but need to get around to posting some wide shots of the whole thing
  13. All - thanks for all the kind comments! The kids will be asking me first thing in the morning to read it to them. Sunhuntin - my son copied the flag exactly from Lego's fire brigade modular.
  14. This past week, we celebrated our United States holiday, 4th of July. My 3 kids each built a Lego float and we created a parade around part of our town. They are very proud of this....and me too ;-) Let us know what you think! corner - Copy by Brick Extreme, on Flickr front - Copy by Brick Extreme, on Flickr side - Copy by Brick Extreme, on Flickr Older daughter's float (Age 8) float 1 - Copy by Brick Extreme, on Flickr Sanitary specialists are critical when you have a parade of this magnitude that includes horses. 15. Wow! That's amazing. The tire tracks are a nice touch. I'm going to "borrow" those when I setup my winter village scene for the holidays at the end of the year.
