  1. Talk about a crazy design! Not something I can come up with, that's for sure.
  2. Except for the nostalgia factor, your design is way cooler then the original, MaroonedMarin. I think my most favourite part is the central staircase to the poop deck
  3. "A true pirate never shows his back."
  4. Oh that's an easy one! The CMF pirate shows the most details of all the regular minifigs (I discount the franchised minifigs).
  5. Looks like one of the blue hinge plates at the cargo area isn't attached right. I see a gap at the wing...
  6. Definitely worth a huge "Wow". From the staircase for rafters down to the sideway-build floor boards there are quite a number of things to focus on. I think my favorite is the appearantly unexpected dragon guest in the corridor. Maybe it is after the bite of cheese on the barrel at hte entrance? ;)
  7. Now that's a real guardian of the forest! Watchful eyes, intense pose at the edge of the outcrops' edge... Maybe the only thing missing (and in the previous scene) is a white cone on top of the little trees, to make them look a bit snowed over too
  8. It took 'balls to get them all!
  9. I like that cabins' entry hatch.
  10. My God! That's a marvelous achievement, YanWilma. You went all the way with details like the grid deck on the galleon and the wooden rope holder statues on the decks, not to mention the continued sloping of the decks on the stern castle. And the masts are more complete then the original in Lelystad. :D Did you have plans to show it on one or the other LEGO event in the Low Lands?
  11. That is a nice theme swap. Well done.
  12. Heh, that's so cute. And it looks like its more easy to unpack then regular wrappings.
  13. She's going to give you the castle for Christmas 2024?! Oh, the horror!!
  14. All of it... well, except the round 1x1 tile... Make that all the rounded pieces used in this CMF.
  15. Well, there's this black&red torso coverall outfit with a Classic Space logo on it. I liked to use that one for indoor activities of the classic astronauts.
  16. You're going to enjoy building the set, I.m sure.
  17. Looking marvelous already. Out of curiosity, how much headspace is there between the gundecks? 4 bricks high? A little less?
  18. Beautiful little scenes here. Can't wait to see them all combined at the end of the calendar. I didn't know that 1x1 rounded corner brick already existed in white. Its just perfect for use in a snow landscape.
  19. Great colour scheme here. The dark green accentuates perfectly with the brick walls, roof. And the yellow leaves on the boardwalk tree. The beautifully tiled workshop floor has just the right mix of pattern and utility feel, and the designs offer sufficient attachment points for the workers and equipment benches and other tools. The scene looks busy without it having an overly cluttered feel. Which leaves me with only one practical question: can the side gate open? There seems to be enough space on the side wall.
  20. That's a very expensive sword...
  21. A beatiful twist, and excellent homage to the original set. Especiallly the chain mail is golden. Though the castle around the statue doesn't exactly look "ruined".
  22. You can thank my glasses.
  23. I can only see a couple blue hinges who seem to both support the technic side-panels and are attatched to the gray frame. Without a shot from the bottom I can't tell more. And I suppose the two extra long connectors who come from the side-panels into the cockpict are to balance things a bit.
  24. Really? It means I've had to check a couple times to be sure which was front and which the back of the craft because of the orientation of the cockpit canopy. Also, the techniques you used to connect the technic parts with the more regular brick-build part of the craft took some deciphering; In short, you presented a conundrum and a puzzle at the same time.
  25. Don't think it was 'sold out'. It ran from 24th-26th. Today (27th) didn't fall into run.
