  1. Check again the pictures of the ventral side. There's two black guns to see there.
  2. If it wasn't for the minifigs (and the sail), I'd say your threequarters there for a Egyptial Nile boat. Marvelously done. Although... I noticed you put the helm on the port side of the boat?
  3. ... And 50% larger! Imagine a new space (mono?)rail set extra-sized...
  4. I don't. I own the set. 😉
  5. Well, there's still the small Falcon flag on the sticker sheet...
  6. I've never seen that technique used for a gun before. How stable is it? I see there are attachment points for the binoculars at the base of the barrel, but are there for the end of the barrel?
  7. I've seen speculation it might be an early release of the annual modular again.
  8. Barad Dur - Blacktron style. Quite a massive construction, but it fits Blacktron well. That's a good job on giving every floor another type of detailing, you succeeded in offering the eye variety when it gazes over the surfaces. And? Does it have an interior?
  9. You should get ready for the BDP medieval port then early next year. Regarding a cog, a Polish designer has one up on Rebricable. Its quite a nice ship, though it shows more of the lines of a caravel. A carrack was already in the cannon-wielding era, so might be a little too advanced for a medieval set.
  10. Ah, got ya. Didn't realize BlueBrixx was buying up licences.
  11. Well, there's still a couple aircraft carriers they could design instead of 'that one'.
  12. You might get away with using 1x2 cheese slopes on the wing tips before the engine inlets, placed back-to-back with the low side on the outer part and the inner side connecting with the slope towards the cockpit. Such a setup might look like a better 'air-intake' for the enginge inlets. And maybe one of the three grilles before the cockpit canopy to a normal tile. If you have them at home, there's those 1x3 modified tiles you could use on the bottom instead of the plates. Removes a number of the 'dots' those 1x(insert length) plates you used there. Gives for a more finished look on the ventral parts of the ship.
  13. It looks quite sturdy and sweeping at the same time. The coloring is indeed fitting. I like the functionality you put into it, and the way you use those 2x4 wedges to taper towards the cockpit front, it keeps the ship 'airtight' so to speak with the canopy you used. All in all, it reminds me of a cross of a Star Wars Republican A-Fighter and Buck Roger's Earth Directorate Starfighter
  14. The Griffin does too, of course, but the Kraken is to me a bit more of a fantasy creature in my mind. Perhaps its just the Griffin was used more in RL heraldry. Thinking further on that, and with a line of D&D CMF figs in the pipeline, I wonder if perhaps LEGO is trying to swat two flies in one go. A shield with new heraldry used in both CMF and the Ideas set.
  15. Liked the Griffin best. The Kraken would"ve been nice too, but it fits more in a D&D setting.
  16. In general, I agree with your sentiment. Though I can imagine that climate-change proponents might disagree with the original -and latter career of the ship...
  17. I can see it started from Versteinerts' Inn with the layout, but you made it into something completely your own. The pergola-like structure on the big bedroom is sublime, as is how you fineshed the roof. I'm definitely intrigued by your choice of how to access the flat roof part of the building. And the colors! They blend in so wel!
  18. Love the 'upgrade' of those old(er) vehicles. They certainly have no-nonsense feel to them. I'm almost sorry your custom rsdar tile doesn't exist. It fits the situation so well.
  19. City sets usually retire after a year to make place for the next wave. That said, other retailers can still have 'm for sale until their stock is exhausted.
  20. Preferably a well-restored castle, with a renaissance fair going on in it.
  21. Nah, he's just off-duty. Don't know if this is the effect of how you stored those minifigs, but the vintage version's torso print looks the least affected. Or is is simply the quality of the print?
  22. For me, the 2023 version is the best of those three.
