  1. Quite the scary scene, with those lumberjacks outstaying their welcome. I suppose Leshy is here in his giant and/or animal protection shape, with that (well-build) crown of antlers? I've never thought of using those palm leaves substituting as needles. It works quite well. Other nice details are the camp site with the dark tan tent and belongings around it, and the use of that dark red head as a mushroom head.
  2. Someone here doesn't seem in a hurry to go on a quest. I Can't remember if that reverse arch with tiles in it has been done before for a counter and the door behind the clerk, but it looks nice. Is it all the tan tiles in the scene your daughter painted? If so, its a job well done
  3. An early 20th century sailing ship? Intriguing to say the least. And if the price point is as advertised, should be enough to cover for a number of sail shapes. Those barkentines had a lot of them.
  4. Someone's a realist! Any interesting new set that comes out between now and the 14th?
  5. One the one hand, I wouldn't mind visiting such a base. On the other hand, knowing Blacktron's, not likely I would get out again.
  6. Yeah, a delightful mix of new and old(er) elements. And those lines!
  7. I'm still waiting for a pink, purple, and orange helmet of the type you showed. And a reissue of the yellow one wouldn't hurt either.
  8. Most impressive. It must have been a challenge to put the roof together from so many angles. It is appearantly in European-medieval style, but some window -and roof parts do seem to have an East-Asian origin.
  9. Those are nice space craft, but to me it feels the fuselage is a bit too short to contain everything such type of craft should have. But that's just my feeling. My aesthetics aren't compulsory.
  10. Has Dark Bluish Grey ever come out? I wouldn't mind a classic astronaut in that color.
  11. My wishlist is quite modest in comparison: the door-with-window slot as first seen in the little 'cheese house' of the Medieval Town Square set.
  12. Nicely done. To me, it feels like seeing a cityscape at the size of a base with the soaring towers in the background.
  13. Like with the LKC, I feel its *just* a little too small. This time, while progressing on the build, I added the for me necessary space and features: closing up the open rooms of the inn and knights' room, making the carpenter tower 2 studs wider and adding wood tiles to the roof, adding 6 studs to the width of the inn/painter 'block', incorporating 2 staircases in the inn, making the entrance stair of the guard tower a stud wider and an easier slope, fixing a ladder in the tower and making the top wider so there's a crawl whole to enter the platform. Even the shield painter now has a sort of exit when the block is closed
  14. Without the robo-nanny?
  15. No doubt about that. Usually I like to wait a bit before ordering minifig parts/accessoires until its fairly sure no new set comes out with the same minifig prints.
  16. Usually a non-exclusive sets' parts (minifig parts too) come at some point to PAB. I'd say 3-6 months after the set goes to retail.
  17. That sure is a heartbreakenly beautiful design. If you wanted, you could turn it into a small town.
  18. I wouldn't mind a medieval farm hamlet... With a goat farm! But I wouldn't mind a medieval town gate either... With drawbridge, gate house, and city guard.
  19. Except for the name, the Lion Knights Castle is completely new.
  20. Its a nice concept, and clearly well-thought out. As for a name, I'd go for "Swift Shuffle System", or triple-S. ;)
  21. Or even better, a big vessel and a small sailing sloop for it.
  22. I suggest becoming a LEGO Insider member (its free) and waiting for an Insider discount or double Insider points with a nice GWP.
  23. I see what you mean, Yperio. More translucent sails with the printing "on the back" so to speak.
  24. Would you consider the sails of the Imperial Flagship (set 10210) as printed? In my view LEGO striked the right balance between detailing on the sails and lavishly printed in this set.
  25. Very beautyful and detailed build. I'm especially fond of the tree's foliage and the ground plants. The manned bird looks just right to support a passenger and fits right in the scene.
