Any particular reason why you put the link in such a hard-to-spot place? Posting links to prelims isn't against the rules, so your link is fine, but if you're ever unsure I'd rather you contacted me to ask rather than just posted them anyway. Oooh, another Battle Mage, welcome to the (incredibly small) club!

Come to the Town Forum, we have cookies! We also have some pictures of the new 2014 wave of LEGO Friends sets - which include printed cookies! Head on over to the Town Forum for more pictures and discussion.

I've put the High Res pictures of those three sets in the first post, and these include the box pictures and a few details pictures. I'll add more pictures as and when I find them, but the aim is to have them all in one easy-to-find place.

"That's it, Lady Baba or somesuch; terrible warbler but charms everyone who hears her. I saw her at the Founder's Day Ball too. I don't like her. At all." Nyx turns to the young girl and elven woman. "Hello Sküld, it's very nice to meet you, I am Nyx. You have an honourable position as the Oracle's altar girl - you must be a child of accomplishment. Thank you for coming to meet us. Teresa, you say you're a representative of the Embassy - forgive my ignorance but.. which Embassy?" "Hey, you know I'm always up for setting fire to people, but it sounds like even taking on that dude might start a riot. Anyway, Namyrra's the leader this time round, so it's up to her. I'll fight if she wants me to. Mind you, there's a big sign there saying 'Keep out!' and frankly that's as good as an invitation in my eyes. "

Thanks for that, but people seem to have abandoned the 2013 thread in favour of this.

For now, I've added High Res pictures of the Advent Calendar to the first post of this thread, as I've already seen it in the shops.

It's really exciting to see these sets, and I agree that so far the Lemonade Stand is the most interesting of the three, but there are still some very interesting parts in all three. I really like the medium lavender cupboard piece in Stephanie's Newborn Lamb, and of course the dolphin in Emma's Lifeguard set. The light aqua moped looks fantastic, though, and I love the use of the trans clear head with a trans clear cup together to make a jug. I'm really looking forward to seeing these for real, but for now I'll index in a few high-res pictures of each set into the first post and into the index in the Hub. Additionally I saw the new 2013 Friends Advent Calendar in the LEGO store yesterday (I really should have bought it) and I've found some pictures for that too, so I'll add those in as well.

"Uhm, yeah, I thought so, but I miss stuff sometimes. Thanks." Nyx turns and regards the little girl and elf woman who had appeared, briefly making a "sick" face and sticking her tongue out at the mention of Namyrra being eaten by a demon. "I wouldn't trust the Wolfgangers either. They have a very powerful witch at the very heart of their organisation, striving and gaining control, and I doubt she has good intentions for Eubric."

"Alright, keep your hair on. Jeez, you're touchy for a librarian." Nyx mutters as she moves away from Byblos towards Atramor. "Hey Atramor, who exactly is the ruler of Eubric right now?" she whispers out of the corner of her mouth "And that dude doesn't look anything like Hybros, Hybros has never evah smiled that wide. Digging the hat, though. If only these people knew who was really controlling the Wolfgang and that..." Nyx trails off as a small child runs up to Namyrra and the group.

I thought you were the next generation!

Nyx grins at all three of her questmates. "I'm ready to head out too. The Wolfgang aren't too hard to spot, they all smell of wet dog; and I'm eager to meet the Oracle again, it's been a long time."

As this seems to be very much based on Disney, I'm going to move it to Licensed.

OoC: Sandy I upgraded my Standard in the marketplace, and added the Bright Polish to my Robe of the Archmagi. Nyx pointedly ignores the silly guards and instead looks from one to the next of each of her companions. "Namyrra, it has been too long since we quested together - it's wonderful to see you again; and Atramor, it really hasn't been long enough. " She smiles more kindly at Atramor after her jibe "You look well. Better. You smell better too. Good to be fighting with you again, mate. Master Docken, I want to say it's good to quest with you again, but you'll give me some nonsensical answer - could you just nod? It'll stop my head from hurting." She turns to Byblos, head cocked to one side as she examined him fully. "Mr Byblos, are you quite well? You look... tired. Oh, I see you fight with books too! Look, I have a fighting book, and it's got great pictures, and a spider crawls out sometimes! What crawls out of your books, Byblos?"

Nyx walks into the marketplace with more money than she's ever had before. She looks around, not really expecting Elphaba to be back already, but still half hoping. She looks over all sorts of items thoughtfully, but in the end just asks Anwyl to upgrade her Standard from WP:14 to WP:15. As she hands over the 150 gold (leaving her with 536 gold) and takes back her Standard, she stares off into the distance slightly, thinking of somewhere far away. She shakes herself into the present and makes haste to her new quest.

Let me make this very plain Lord Duvors (and please note that I speak here as a forum Moderator): please be polite in your interactions on the forum, especially to people who are being kind enough to host you on a Heroica Quest. There have been several instances where you have been rude or unpleasant within the Heroica forum and it has not gone unnoticed. I would not wish to remove you from the forums for a private conversation whilst you are on a quest, but if you persist in being rude, I will. I look forward to you interacting with your host and fellow players in a more friendly way when you are Out Of Character. Thank you.

I would absolutely love to play. Sadly (or maybe not ), I shall be away for a while in the near future. I'll be watching with interest, though.

Hmm, contests eh? Funnily enough we might have a few coming up, but I like the idea of having a "seed piece" too. Maybe we'll come up with something. We have tags too, if that's what you mean. We could possibly even make some more.. Positive feedback is welcome too; it's nice we're doing the stuff you guys like. Thank you for your encouragement.
