  1. No problem at all, as long as the resulting model is still recognisable as a Camper, it's valid. You don't have to build from an existing theme. The limit is your imagination, as long as it's still recognisable as a Camper. That would count as a custom decal, which is allowed in the rules. Welcome to Eurobricks, you are most welcome to enter this competition. No, sorry.
  2. Nyx nods at Hybros's suggestion and follows him back to the hall. As she walks, she looks for Lady Marsh, considering just pushing the woman into the kitchen and locking the door. "Mind you" she thinks to herself "Avery's in there, and she might be a little upset by now". She walks up to Lord Chauncey and smiles in greeting. "Lord Chauncey, I've heard so much about you, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am Nyx, but I have no doubt you know that. I am led to believe you are a great friend of Lord Guffington's." Nyx stops there, not wanting to freak him out too much, and just stands, smiling expectantly, waiting for a reply.
  3. Nyx sees the expression on Hybros's face, and actually feels the need to smile at the little imp. "It's ok Hybros, I understand, I really do. And I die a lot, it's kinda becoming my thing really. I still have an... awareness, and it's becoming stronger each time, so I understand the circumstances, don't worry." She follows Hybros as he goes to explain, and on hearing Hybros's words to their employer she looks over at Guffington. There's no taste in her mouth, but there doesn't need to be, his face says it all. Guts' words jolt her attention. "Guts I don't know which "you" you're referring to, but I'd rather go talk to Chauncey - I can't be on wife duty at the same time, though. I don't think Guffington needs to come quietly, but Marsh certainly does. Best I can do is put him to sleep; I've no rope, sorry. Actually, Hybros, what do you want me to do?"
  4. What the hell?? We have to deal with zombies now?? Are you kidding me? And the fact we're at risk of dying during the night as well as the day is distinctly unsettling. Uncle Colin, I don't think you need to keep your vote on Shane anymore. On the plus side, the zombie didn't eat Shane, so hopefully there won't be more zombies, although any number of zombies greater than zero is bad. Do Ferraris keep zombies in their employ? I doubt it somehow. You're sounding a teensie bit defensive there Terrence. Keen to explain a point I'd forgotten about even, and sounding mighty huffy as you do so. Looking at the votes and what's been discussed I'm not convinced either Byr-Byr or Rolfe are scummy enough to be voteworthy. The tallies are still close, and frankly I'd rather vote for someone who's only contributed fluff. I will vote: DoÄŸukan Akbulut (Dragonator), because at least Byron and Rolfe are actually looking at things and trying to help, or at least that's how they both seem to me right now. I realise I'm not voting for the "hot favourite", so I'll be here until very nearly dawn to change my vote if we're lacking a majority, as I believe we need a conviction today.
  5. Sooooo teeeeemptiiiiiiing.... It'll only take about five years to plan it, right?
  6. I'm pretty sure scum would think carefully about who they're placing their vote on. I'm not convinced that you saying you thought more carefully about it makes you more townie. Anyway, for now, Unvote: Candy Nelson (Captain Nemo). You turned up, you said stuff. Not a whole lot and nothing groundbreaking certainly, but you at least said something. Let's see if you say any more. I would agree with Kristina's assessment of things, and I'm worried to hear she was blocked from talking to us. I can't see how that would be a town thing to do (to block someone from talking), as it wouldn't prevent the scum from talking to each other if used on them. Interesting that you're the first to come forward with this information of an unusual role, Kristina. I suspect it is a way to prevent us from communicating with each other effectively during the day phase, but I doubt there is more than one role of this kind. In other words, I don't expect to hear the same reason from DoÄŸukan or Priscilla.
  7. "Atramor" and "diplomacy" shouldn't be in the same sentence. Not unless the intervening words are "is really, really bad at".
  8. "I did that already, but I'm dissatisfied enough with what she's said to carry on today. My attacks aren't as strong as I'd like, so if any other attacker would better off being encouraged by me then please say so and I will change accordingly. There were (and probably still are) too many spells being flung around at Heroicans, me included." Panduin launches a Critical Attack on Eris. "Oh, and whoever it was who said they were healing Eris, are they still healing her? It'd be more than annoying if they are."
  9. Our next project will probably be Mafia, not Heroica (IMHOTEP 2); we've already made some headway into planning it. I'd like to do a simple Heroica quest for low level characters, though, but an insane quintuple quest is extremely tempting... Yes, you bloody well do! Oh, and can you add in some Ziegfried rep this time, too?
  10. Nyx shrugs at Everstein as she slides the bolt, essentially locking Avery in the kitchen. "Sorry" she mutters quietly to the door. That done, Nyx moves to stand next to Hybros, slipping him the Blue Assassin's contract, to aid him in making the case. "It pretty much says on that that Marsh is behind it. You could show it to Guffy if he needs further convincing of Marsh's guilt." she whispers to Hybros. "You're our leader, it's up to you, but I've got your back... as long as I'm alive, of course" she grins a little at the end. "Before you start, do you want me to have a quiet word with Chauncey? I'm pretty sure he'd be the one who hired Avery."
  11. "You're a grumpy kitty. I encouraged myself yesterday for lack of anything else to do with my time. I used my attack last night once I saw all them spells flinging around - it was a decision made with at least some more information. It has nothing to do with comparing how they were during the day and then me acting during the day, it was about me making best use of my action at night after seeing the magical sparks fly. It weren't secret, I do my fighting personal. I ain't accusin' you kitty, so go play with a ball of string."
  12. As regulators didn't know about it in advance, it's reasonable for you to be able to enter. (Rufus agrees.)
  13. "You seen any other angry, drugged up satyrs around here, blondie?"
  14. Where is everybody? We can't talk by potatoes, so... we're just not talking? How are we going to catch the Ferraris this way? Uncle Tam says "very bad things will happen" if we don't select a lynch, so now we have a little more conversation to work with, we should be doing something and talking more, not less. Candy hasn't even showed up yet, which is remarkably unhelpful. Let's see if this will get her talking: Vote: Candy Nelson (Captain Nemo)
  15. Panduin downs the dregs of his beer, wiping his lips on his sleeve and burping once more. The din was unbearable but he had some things to say, so he stands on his barstool and shouts in his deep booming voice to make himself heard. "It seemed to me that there were a good number of spells being flung around yesterday evening, and Eris struck me as someone who may well have been responsible. I'm a dwarf of action. I fight." "It's this kind of drivel that makes me more content in my action" "Possibly more, girly..." "No, but you gave killing me a damn good try last night, along with some coward with a handcannon, and some ice-flinging mage sort. Three attacks on me last night, three! You bloody bastards. Frankly, I'd likely be dead if the angry drugged-up satyr hadn't protected me. I have no idea why he did, but I'm bloody grateful, I'll tell you that. It seems to me there are too many people flinging spells around at all the wrong people. From the "will" Piro has left, it seems mage types might have more than one gem, so they can't be ruled out by "owning up" to a particular type of element. Right now I'd be happy to see all the trigger-happy spell flingers in a pool of their own blood, but even I can accept that won't get us muchplace. I hope this information allows people to understand there are far more attacks going on than previously thought, and I have trouble believing the satyr is a Nephilim if he's going round protecting Heroicans like me. Doesn't mean Piro is clean, though. And he's a spell flinger. I have half a mind to kill him on principle. Him and the U'dagon thing that tried to splice me in two for no good reason and miraculously has enough gold to buy a powerful item." With that Panduin glares at the entire Hall before returning to drink yet more beer.
  16. A very slight smile appears at the corners of Nyx's lips. "Fair enough. Let's go inside. I think I'd like to talk to Lord Chauncey, he seems like a very nice man, and a man of means, certainly. Would it be too much to ask you for a glass of wine when we're inside? At least I'll know it won't be poisoned, but... I know you're not really a serving girl, and it seems rude to ask an assassin to fetch me a drink." she shrugs "I could bloody use one, though. It's been one hell of a night. Uhm, so far." Nyx moves to re-enter the hall with Avery.
  17. Just to clarify, I didn't say I was assuming Donny was killed by the SK, but purely that if we had a SK then they would want to kill as much as the Ferraris, and thus only having one death implies at least one of those two were frustrated. That statement isn't a comment on who killed Donny, but I have said I think it's less likely to be the Ferraris based on the MO.
  18. I'm still not convinced the Ferraris kill people by squishing them with billboards, but as I've said before we'll find out in due course. Working with the assumption that we do have a serial killer, it seems likely a kill was frustrated last night, one way or another. I'd be very disappointed in the VITS if clues have been left in the security footage from the daytime, and I agree that it would have been miraculous for scum to have determined Donny was special and kill him for that within such a short space of time.
  19. There are lots and lots of things we can't discount, but that would be remarkably lucky for the scum, and there's absolutely nothing to indicate that that's the case, Byr-Byr. I thought the blending in bit was because his outfit matched the billboard background.
  20. Yeah, it's way past all of the heroes' bed-times in our quest. Even Nyx's.
  21. These rules seem specifically tailored to our current predicament. Careful examination of the rules themselves would reveal that to any interested reader. The potential third parties have been given their own colour scheme and everything. Plus, I find it interesting to note that there is no mention of conversions, where often one might expect some mention of conversions and one's behaviour should one be converted. As a result, I'm inclined to believe that we do indeed have at least one third party member to deal with in addition to the Ferraris, and I doubt that that third party will have a role that does not require them to kill. Whether a third party was responsible for Donny's death remains to be seen.
  22. "Too much of a longshot" is very different from "blatant".
  23. Nyx nods to Avery, warming to her considerably. "I'll pass that message on to Hybros, thank you. And like I said, I didn't think you were here to kill Guffy." Nyx carefully examines the Blue Assassin's contract, and without looking up continues "If I were a betting woman I'd guess your last target is Lord Marsh, but that really is just a guess. I have no intention of getting in your way, even if that were the case." She looks up and thoughtfully at Avery, smiling kindly. "Yes, we should probably go back in. I was just wondering whom to engage in conversation, when I return. Let's go."
  24. I don't think I'm going to get any answers to my questions from Donny now. Yet it is implied in the rules that there is a third party or parties, so will these third parties be likely to be devoted pacifists? Because?? Being smooshed by a billboard seems an unusual MO for Ferraris, especially when we've already seen them shooting with guns (at the very beginning - the events that started all this).
  25. Nyx gets herself of the floor, dusting herself down as she does so. "Thank you." she smiles but hesitates to use Avery's name "He was very rude, and annoying, and I have absolutely no problem with blood, especially other people's, but I've also seen plenty of my own. Probably why I'm so pale." Nyx moves over to Watters lifeless body, admiring Avery's craftsmanship. "Beautifully done, I really must say. Not my personal style, but I certainly respect your art." she nods approvingly as she checks Watters body for loot. During the process, she looks at Avery again and carries on talking. "I know you have rules, and, although I find that frustrating, I do kinda respect that. I will tell you something instead, though. I worry for Lord Guffington's life." Nyx eyes Avery carefully "I don't think you're here to harm him, but there are a lot of odd occurrences tonight. He seems like such a nice man, and it'd ruin the party for me if the host died, so I hope my instincts are wrong. It'd be really nice to find someone at the party who cares about Guffington as much as I do...." Nyx leaves her last statement hanging as she looks around the courtyard as if admiring the stonework.
