  1. "You seem to have forgotten the ice spell that came my way on night one, there."
  2. "Aye, and he seems to be working on quite the undead army there. And they're starting to smell, too."
  3. Yeah, he's part Barbarian, part Rogue. If Guts can't break through a door one way or another it's frankly embarrassing.
  4. Nyx sighs as Guts' foot bounces off the door and he lands in an embarrassing heap on the floor in front of her. She closes her eyes and grips onto her Emerald, willing the wooden door fragments to bend to her will and part for them.
  5. If you're entering the competition then the MOC should be original (ie not seen posted anywhere else beforehand). If you wish to then later post your entry as a separate thread on Eurobricks then you are free too. Essentially, if you want to post it twice, enter the competition first.
  6. Panduin looks around. He drinks a potion, burping loudly afterwards. "I have a better idea of people I trust than those I don't." he says over his shoulder "Those who need me will have my support." another belch and a mouthful of beer "Zplif, I wasn't expecting no healing last night, so I thank you for the consideration."
  7. I will move heaven and earth to ensure that Ru and I come to this, and I'm still working on kidnapping the Dutch raccoon too. I think I'm winning.
  8. So many fantastic entries already! Keep 'em coming, everyone!
  9. And to me there's a lot of crossover, so this is now one glorious topic for all aspects of Army Building, past and future.
  10. Welcome to the Reviewer's Academy, you now have access.
  11. I'm sad to see Jamie gone. In my eyes she was speaking reasonably and sensibly. I would agree that this seems to be the same killer that killed Donny, and the consistent nature (that this is the only kill we've seen twice) and choice of victim makes me now consider more that it might be a scum kill. I wonder if the scum made some assumptions based on recent revelations? Am I right in thinking you're saying you've been blocked from posting but you have anyway? And that in posting anyway the worst that will happen to you will be a warning? And you're also saying that the mode of you being stopped from talking (even though you haven't stopped talking) is by you being drugged? I can't see any burning information that you wanted to express to us that couldn't have waited until you were allowed to talk again, so why on earth did you feel so compelled to apparently disobey Uncle Tam's instructions? I guess I can't expect an answer to that as you've supposedly been stopped from talking, but maybe you'll hear this tonight and you'll be able to answer then.
  12. Maybe I should have replied to this instead: As it was that sentiment I was actually replying to.
  13. Nyx follows Guts.
  14. There were six people in the hall when Atramor arrived, but only three of them have been seen to continue to quest for Heroica. I think those three have been prominent enough on various quest to be remembered, surely?
  15. "Uhm, sure, if we can get in there. I seem to attract bad luck though, and I seem to have developed a tendency to die. Keep me alive, though, and I might be useful." Nyx lowers her voice so Chauncey can't hear "I'd invite Chauncey too, but it'd be embarrassing if he died too, really."
  16. We have a similar topic to this already. I'll merge the two shortly.
  17. I know. That's why I mentioned tailor in that situation. And I mentioned framer being used by others or Dogukan as a possible suggestion for the result under the circumstances that Dogukan emerges with a scum reading. I know that too. I was saying that if the investigator is gullible enough to go with your suggestion, then maybe it would be worth a punt to put a scum watcher (should there be one) on Dogukan for the purpose of discovering the investigator. I was giving examples of some of the various ways your suggestion was a bad one, in my opinion. I didn't complain about you voicing your opinions. I'm glad you have some. I complained that it seemed odd that you (and subsequently two other people) seemed to be softly trying to manipulate our investigator. We could argue over the fine line between opinions of what's happening and opinions of what people should do, but I have no doubt that you can understand what I'm saying perfectly. Firstly, I have not already decided on Dogukan, but you seem to wilfully ignore that point. Secondly, just because Shane may or may not have been killed by a vig or SK doesn't mean we wouldn't learn anything from his alignment even without the information Kristina has just brought to light. You really think it would tell us nothing (even without Kristina's information) if Shane flips scum tonight? Or flips SK? Or even flips town? I'll niggle all I like while you continue to act so damn suspiciously, and I'm not leading anyone anywhere as you well know, I'm discussing things I find suspicious, which I kind of thought was the point here.
  18. Threads opened as requested.
  19. I said nothing of a lawyer. I was talking about tailors (the role, not the occupation), framers and watchers, and they aren't as uncommon as you suggest. And I'm all for sharing opinions publicly, but suggesting a specific role performs a specific action appears to me to be an attempt to manipulate. The fact that three people in a row, who had all been previously railing at us over lynching and talking, suddenly come along and say "oh hey, let's just investigate, I'm sure we'll find someone else to lynch" seems remarkably odd to me. I have no doubt you'll disagree. You may find it all confusing, but the suggestion is quite clear and other people seem to understand. And to further clarify where you seem to have misunderstood, I said that without the benefit of information we'll get at the start of the night, and because of Dogukan and your actions, I'm finding Dogukan extremely suspicious and unless there's a good reason to lynch someone else he would be my choice. What was that you said about voicing opinions? I'm just voicing mine. And I too am interested to see whether Byr-Byr turns up scum. I'm also interested in whether Shane turns up scum - is that not something you're interested in, or do you already know? Eh?
  20. "Lord Chauncey, do not misunderstand me. I bear absolutely no ill will toward either you or Lord Guffington. In truth, I am here to protect him. I believe someone else has hired some... help... to protect him, too and I was just wondering if that was you. If you would rather talk about our other common interests instead, then I'd be happy to."
  21. It was nice of Dogukan (sod the accent) to turn up yesterday and basically say he said nothing because he has nothing to say. Still saying nothing. That and saying Kristina was "framing" him. I don't see how, and Dogukan didn't bother to elaborate. There was a suggestion that surely if he were scum his team would be encouraging him to say something, but that assumes he'd even be around to hear his team trying to encourage him. And then we have this: Three people all in a row softly suggesting, in public no less, what a great idea it would be for the investigator to investigate a specific person. A specific person who, if they are scum, would then be ripe for tailoring or any other form of result corruption, or (should the scum have a watcher) be a useful way for the scum to discover the investigator. I cannot think of a worse idea. I'm surprised considering these are people who've been keen on lynching in the past, and now they seem to be calling for clemency for someone who's done bugger all to help, and may even be setting in motion a way for him to be "cleared". If it's suggested so publicly and the result is "Ferrari" then does that mean tomorrow you cry "He was framed!" because it was discussed so publicly? Right now, without the benefit of any information we'll get when the night starts, frankly I'd be keen to just lynch Dogukan tonight. He turned up, he didn't help, he didn't defend, he did nothing. Dexter (I think you referred to "the Town" Dex, and not "us"?) says we should talk about lynches early, so why not now?
  22. I had to re-read that several times. I think we get to talk to the guests some more. Maybe Guts and Nyx should get outrageously drunk and start dancing on the tables. Unless Guts can suddenly develop badass lockpicking skills and get us into that room, or Nyx blows the door into splinters. Maybe we should bring a few guests with us and move the party there?
  23. Nyx spots Guts producing his wine and frowns to herself, wanting a glass herself. Instead she turns back to Lord Chauncey. "I suspect the smart are also well prepared, sir. What would you do to protect your friend, Guffington? Please don't misunderstand me, I ask not as a threat. I will tell you I am here to protect him, and I suspect that, in a way, you are too."
  24. Oops, apologies Terrence. But I still think Bernard sounded a bit defensive there. Thank you, yes. However I shall be retiring for my early morning nap soon, so I'll take this opportunity to change my vote. Nobody has joined after me to vote for Doğukan, and had I spoken properly it would have been 6 to Byr-Byr and 4 to Doğukan. Neither is enough for a conviction. Reluctantly, to get us closer to a lynch, I will vote: The Great Byron (Bob), but the fact that there was no movement to follow up the vote on the most unhelpful Doğukan is interesting.
  25. "You are a charmer, Lord Chauncey." Nyx blushes ever so slightly, but grins widely, her expression becomes more somber, however, as she continues "I would love to discuss our interests in common, but I must confess that this evening seems a strange gathering, as if we are waiting for something bad to happen. Do you have that sense too?"
