It's a tutorial showing two ways of embedding a picture. Hopefully that's a little clearer now as I've edited the tutorial.

For your (and everyone else's information) there's a newly published Flickr Tutorial here! -
Disclaimer: This is an old guide, we have a newer Guide available here since 2026. Orginal Post: Flickr seems to change so often that it's hard to keep up with all of its functions. There have been a number of questions about deeplinking from Flickr recently, so I hope people find this short tutorial helpful. I have included TWO ways of sharing pictures from Flickr in this tutorial; using the "Share" button and through the "Download" button. Embedding pictures using the "Share button. Embedding pictures using the "Download" button. Feel free to post questions about Flickr here and anyone can answer them. For any other questions, ie anything not relating to flickr, please check the FAQ tab in the upper right of the forum, or post in the HELP! ! ! topic here in Forum Information and Help.

I've added you to the Reviewers Academy; next time, please just edit your original post rather than posting twice, thank you. I notice you had asked in several places about how to post a review. You will learn a lot whilst in the RA about how to create a review, but to post one you need only click on the "Start New Topic" in the upper right corner of the appropriate forum and add your content.

It doesn't necessarily answer your original question (about becoming popular), but if you'd like to join a group on flickr to add your pictures to, then we have our very own Eurobricks flickr group. The link is here.

Access granted, welcome to the Academy.

There's lots of help around. Check the other topic in this very forum which has information about posting MOCs and specifically pictures, otherwise the Forum Information and Help forum is another good place for help. Looking at how other people have posted their MOCs will also give you an idea of how to do it. -
Meet Delirium, from Neil Gaiman's Sandman universe, brought into stunning realisation in LEGO form by Hyler Talliwell in our Special Themes Forum. Head over to Special Themes to see more of this fabulous sculpture, leave some comments, and see what else Hyler Talliwell has done from the series!

This is a great car, I love how you've done the doors and I'd like to see how the model looks when you're completely done with it. I also really like the fact that your cars accommodate the Friends Minidolls without any other compromises at all - they are all recognisable as the cars you intended them to be, with appropriate colours. For me this helps "normalise" the Minidolls more, and I applaud you for that, as well as your building. Maybe you said something about your photos as others are commenting? Speaking as an RA teacher (ie a real stickler for pictures ), I think your pictures are really good. They show your MOCs off really well, they're in focus and the colours and lighting are good. Most importantly, too, you've presented your MOCs against a white background, so we can see them so much better, so I really think you should feel good about your pictures. I hope there will be more to come.

I don't know who it was (it wasn't me), but I can tell you for certain it wasn't JimBee. Only Mods or Admins can give out titles. My money's on BD. Hazard a guess...

Haha, good point. The difference is she'll actually still look 19.

Sadly it is not a British holiday; there are no attributed days off. We do indeed, however, have many fireworks displays and bonfires and other fun stuff. Nyx will, strangely, always be 19. Unrealistic? Perhaps, but that's how it is.

Hello there LegoLearner, and a warm welcome to Eurobricks. This thread that you've posted in is only visible to New Members and Moderators/Admins, so you'll get a lot more feedback if you introduce yourself (as you just have here) in the "Hello my name is..." forum, and you'll get a lot more help with power functions by having a look through our Technic forum (as your question may have already been answered) and if the issue hasn't been brought up before, then ask there. Have fun around the rest of the forum. -
Heroica RPG- Quest #96: Tying up Loose Ends

"But feel free to maim him. Badly." muttered Nyx under her breath. -
Please deeplink pics of both your passenger coach and box car so it's easier for our readers to see your creations! I love that you've made this for the minidoll proportions (I understand the blu-tack issue!), and it's certainly very bright. I think you've definitely made it Friends themed, but I believe you could even replace the bright pink with lime green (or medium lavender or medium azure) and it would possibly look even more "Friends" themed.

Heroica RPG- Quest #96: Tying up Loose Ends
Pandora replied to Scubacarrot's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Ah, of course, how silly of me, we are more alike in some ways than I remember sometimes. And I agree with you, I have a constant desire to be 'ready', yes. We've been here before, and we've been here for a good while this time, but it's still a strange land and we still need to be careful, I think." Nyx looks at her sleeping team-mates, some of whom are snoring more than they thought they were. "I've found something more like a family than I've ever really had, with Heroica. I don't need people, and I never want to feel like I need people, but I have grown to care for some, and the Heroicans in this room are some of the ones I've grown to care about most. I don't want anything to happen to them. Or me for that matter." She looks away again, already feeling she has exposed too much of herself and changes the subject. "I keep going places and ending up involved in politics. When we were in Dastan I ended up helping choose the next damn emperor; I don't know if you heard about that while you were there, but I certainly remember you being at the big battle just before then. Anyway, I have no idea who would truly be the best leader for Strivvi, but the fact that I can even influence it shows a poor political system to my mind." Nyx shrugs impassively. -

"That it is, big guy, but Eubric's not much better really, is it? Sounds like Maxis maybe wants to make it better, but who knows if he can or he will. Say, you look uncomfortable, would you like to borrow my other spare bedroll?" Nyx offers her second bedroll to Skrall to borrow. -
As this is more about the BURP pieces than anything else I'm going to move it to General Discussion, as the parts in question have been around since 1992/1995 and are not restricted to Friends or Town.

Nyx offers Atramor one of her bedrolls to sleep on, while she herself stays awake and on guard, leafing through her Book to entertain her as the others rested. -

Nyx listens to Maxis as he talks, feeling much more ready after Ellaria's heal. "Thank you Elpis, I am grateful. And thank you to you too, Maxis, for you assistance. If my comrades here are happy to support you, then so am I, and you do make a convincing case. I'm always up for more shopping, but if you want to head back to the safe house that's fine by me too." OoC: Scuba, could you update with the loot from the sewer battle please? Thanks. -

Nyx blinks at Boomingham. "Are you going senile? You're a healer, remember? Patch yourself up man! And you can fix me a little while you're at it, although my barbaric side has mostly sorted me out." -

"Something like that, yes." Nyx smiles kindly, trying not to show too much concern. "So Purple, what now? I'm guessing we can't go back in again, much as I'd like to, so what do we do instead?" -
Heroica RPG- Quest #96: Tying up Loose Ends
Pandora replied to Scubacarrot's topic in The Heroica Archive
OoC: FYI, I seem to be missing the loot from the sewer battle. Nyx stands up, allowing herself to be helped by Boomingham, and after briefly brushing her robes and checking her hair, turns to reply to Purple. "We were doing just fine, until we met some ridiculously overpowered monkey chefs that we had no hope in Hel of defeating, that's what happened. We went in there because you wanted us to rescue Zoë, which is fine, we rescue people, that's part of what we do, but you wanted it too. The others are still in there and hopefully they are faring better than we did, but we did the best we could, so try to be nice. If you can." Nyx leans on Boomingham's shoulder as she attempts to extricate a small stone from her shoe, balancing on her other high-heeled foot as she does so. "Blackhood, we went into the kitchen together. Don't hold yourself responsible dear, thoughts like that are never useful. If you start regretting things you'll never have the courage to make decisions, so... no regrets." and with her shoe replaced she pats him kindly on his back.
