The batshit craziness the fire giant came out with was also just.. weird. So all in all I didn't make too much of the whole thing. Yes. It has happened before. It wasn't a direct statement from you that you were/are corrupted, rather that what you said implied your state of mind wasn't with the rest of us and was thus worth commenting on. Following that up with something starting with "technically" doesn't help either.

It's not too complicated really, it's to prevent spammers, but it certainly doesn't stop you from posting your creations to the forum, or replying to threads or joining in with all the cool stuff we have (like the awesome raffle we have at the moment in Special Themes!) So head out there and join in, as you've got the hang of posting, and your ability to edit your profile will open up in no time! When you have permission to edit your profile, which is after you have made 10 posts on the main boards, you can then choose the option to add a signature. To do so, you just select "my profile" from the drop-down menu you get after clicking on your username in the top right of the screen. Nyx has no choice but to continue against the soul in front of her. She repeats her action.

Nyx inhales deeply and suddenly, a hand subconsciously reaching for her throat, but a fraction of a second later she is composed again. "Thank you" she exhales towards Skrall. Nyx repeats her attack.

OoC: Dammit, sorry. Thanks WBD, for the incense. And I forgot to say thanks to Zeph for the flashback. Nyx, distracted by her malfunctioning Healing Staff, fails to notice the side swipe from the Soul of the Paladins and falls to the ground like a furious, yet broken, doll. As she falls, she dreams she can strike back. A Darkness spell, through her Book, from the back row at the soul tied to her.

Nyx scans her allies; Skrall standing strong, but Hybros lying motionless and Ellaria on her knees with an odd look in her eyes. There's a nagging pain somewhere at the back of Nyx's mind, but she pushes it away. They have to keep standing, there is a purpose here. So she must keep going for as long as possible. She readies her Healing Staff to belt herself from the back row.

OoC: Sorry, going to fill in some bits... She frowns, remembering. "Well, the short answer is trouble. The less-short answer is the Court of Regret, some old gods, Zoot and his temple, crazy Wren and her chaos beasts, death, lots of it, and someone who means a lot to me despite my better judgement. And a whole load of craziness, and some fun." Nyx blushes slightly "The long answer is reeaally long" she adds hurriedly. OoC: Thanks for the understanding, and sorry to hold anyone up. It's completely right you should keep things moving. Nyx's eyes almost pop as she looks around the library. "This is amaaazing!" she gasps, staring around the vaulted room "Do you think there are books about gods and demons? Or about the origins of magic? That's what I'd like to look for. But I- I'm not sure whether I'd even be looking in the right places. But this feels like the kind of place that might hold all sorts of knowledge." Nyx has never looked so vulnerable, admitting that in front of friends and strangers. OoC: In order to keep things going, here are Nyx's battle actions. Sorry for the messy post. I say we go with the flow, but this does look very familiar. Mind you, I also remember the temple of Zoot, like you do, although there are more hints of Dastan. It all makes me think of Wren again, but I doubt she has anything at all to do with any of this. Ellaria, can you tell us more about the witches you mentioned? Were they good or bad? What did they want when you met them? Like you say, maybe they have some influence in all of this."

Nyx looks sharply at Heweyert, now that her eyes seem better able to focus "Anyway, I was with Hybros in the dark forest - the one that he finds familiar, so I don't really have much to say about that on top of what he has to say, but the atmosphere was weird. The other place I was in, at the same time, with Skrall, was like an old version of Eubric, or another version of it. There was a dragon, who owned a bar down by the docks; now, I've spent a lot of time in those bars and I know most of the landlords there, but I don't remember any dragons. And I'm pretty sure that's the sort of thing I'd remember. That and a dude made out of plants. Not sure we met death, either. I believe we were there, but beyond that I'm not sure. That Ellaria has encountered the woman before as a witch, well that's interesting. I'd like to see what happens next!"

Nyx instinctively puts a hand to her back, but quickly realises there's nothing there. Simultaneously, she looks for Skrall, to make sure he's ok. The Minoid catches her attention. "Not everything fears death. I think some people either fear pain, or what may happen to the world without them around, but not necessarily death and dying. No lesser motivation, but to bluntly fear death is inelegant. People should understand what they fear and why. Like having your consciousness split in two" Nyx taps the side of her head "Doesn't affect you so much if your head's already a bit squiffy and broken, but you kinda have to realise it" she gives a slightly lopsided grin.

This a great combination! I really love the R2-Squirrel droid, and I can see the Empire fleeing from the MP3 player's output. A really good mash-up of the X-Wing style with the Friends colours, with a good dollop of humour.
