    OoC: It makes the most sense for you to go ahead and post Zeph, no worries. I was going to suggest that attacking might give you a chance to summon Barty, but you're right that you wouldn't survive the free hits without the Mulled Wine. We need Barty and Edgar (or the rest of the party!), really, but I'm willing to give this another shot. I have a smoke bomb, just say if you want me to use it (when I'm able to), unless you want to throw the battle? I don't mind either way.

    It sounds like you're selecting the wrong thing when you try to post your picture, could you post a link to what you're trying to post? It might give us a better idea of why this is happening. You should definitely be able to post pictures, that's what this thread is all about - just make sure the end of the image url is .jpeg and you should be ok, but if you can show what you're trying to post then we'll have a better idea of how to help.

I agree with you, we will get roughed up quite a lot - it's almost as if they knew we were coming seeing as how they can ignore most of what we can throw at them. I think we should probably sort out Niz and Biz first, because their free hits will likely be most annoying. What do you think, old friend?" OoC: Scuba, can we get a bit more information please? Like a list of ingredients thrown and their effects, and how much damage does the "double water damage" do? Thanks.

    Nyx considers tying the boy up, but before she knows it she's in the corridor. "Oh, I'm sure he'll be fine. Probably." she slips her arm through Boomingham's "Right then Larry, I agree, let's go to the kitchen. There might be something to drink or someone to kill, and either way I'll be happy. And I think we should make sure it's clear before progressing upstairs. Don't want to be caught from behind now, do we? "

    I have been trying (and failing until this evening, due to time constraints) to keep up with your quest, and now reading through that whole sequence and conversation is just The most wonderful aspects for me are the lines from Nerwen and XX (I really love Nerwen's character). I'd really like to say thanks to both CK and Zeph for casually, yet so accurately, referencing the relationship. It was beautifully done. Oh, and the "Camaraderie" effect is just great.

    "Soap? Marvellous! How did you know we needed that?! How wonderful of you!" Nyx breezes past picking up the soap and brush and begins to clean herself and Boomingham up whilst flashing the boy a winning smile. "We'll be on our way shortly and then we can all get back to work, don't worry."

    On seeing a relatively innocent looking face, Nyx just starts talking, hoping Boomingham will play along. "Oh thank goodness we found you! We've been lost goodness knows where! All we wanted was a little.. privacy, if you know what I mean, and maybe you don't, and somehow we ended up down there; I mean I have a terrible sense of direction at the best of times, but really it's just too much today. And there are things down there, you know?! Horrible things! Urgh, I need to get cleaned up, do you mind if I use your brush and water? Just, if the others see me like this I'm sure I'll have my pay docked, thank you so much, you've very sweet. Oh and tell me if there's something to drink in that bottle, because if I don't get him a drink fast I'm sure he'll complain and then I'll lose my job and then who'll be able to care for my dear sick mother? And really I need a drink myself to steady my poor shattered nerves after that terrifying ordeal!" Nyx smiles plaintively and innocently at the boy.

    "Fair enough, I'll give it to Atters then. And of course, you can definitely have one of my Phoenix Essences, because there's a very good chance you'll need to use it on me." Nyx winks and grins at Boomingham as she hands over a Phoenix Essence to him as they walk.

    Nyx looks over the loot, especially the Bone Scepter. "Why can't he have been carrying something that gave the 'dead' second type? I don't know what to do with this. The paralyzing venom seems most useful, and it might be best applied to one of your weapons than mine, Larry - let me know if you want it. The rest of the stuff I'll cart around for now in case some of the others want it, and if not I'll share it out later, is that ok?" she shrugs, turning "Right, well, this is no place for either of us to be, so let's get the hell out of here. Onwards, old friend."

    Hello Aura, and a warm welcome to Eurobricks. I see this is only your second post, so we'd love to know a bit more about you before joining the Academy, and we have a forum just for that here. You will be most welcome, but we just like to know a little bit about people before they join. Post here again when you've explored the boards a little bit more. Ttimman, we'd love to have you join, but do you have access to a better camera? One of our requirements is that you can use a decent camera (and we generally prefer students not to use camera phones, too) and can move those pictures into your review posts. From the first post here: Let me know if circumstances have changed. I can understand your baby daughter's needs come first. If you change your mind at a later date then please just post again and we'll add you.

    OOC: Hey Scuba, the way Sandy's run the "Healing Staff vs ally, then roll a Shield as a Battle Mage" thing was to have the Healing Staff heal all allies (including self) and the random elemental damage hit all enemies. I'm going to assume you're going to run it the same way as the Heroica Master ( ), so Abe gets less damage (just 36), and Nyx and Boomingham are both healed by 36, bringing them to full health. "Don't worry Larry, I've got your back." Nyx winks at Boomingham, seeing his slightly concerned look. Nyx uses her first turn to use her Scroll of Sealing on Abe, and her second to use her Scroll of Blindness on him, both from the back row. Battle Order: >Nyx (Scroll of Sealing) vs Abe >Nyx (Scroll of Blindness) vs Abe Boomingham (Frozen Sabre) vs Abe

    "Larry, could you take the little snake that's appeared instead? I'll try to heal you anyway, and it may be I need healing by that point anyhow, and there's a small chance I'll be able to heal both of us. If it doesn't work we can see how it stands next round." Nyx casts Light through her Zee's Standard at Abe from the back row, and after Boomingham's action, carefully attacks Boomingham with her Healing Staff.     OOC: Vermin (ie the Sewer Cobra) are weak to Wind, so I think it might be dead. Also, if Tunnel snake joined after Boomingham's turn then it'd also be dead, wouldn't it? I just would like to clarify these before adding in Nyx's second action, thanks.
