  1. I don't see any blue here at all, just black with a white dot as most animals.
  2. Currently seems to be confusion over the Train Station price. Stonewars currently says €80 , Promobricks €100 And I believe it's a LEGO exclusive too, which would make €100 extra steep (I mean, €100 is a believable price for 900+ pieces, but exclusive means no discount)
  3. I don't think the station is that bad, the set price is listed as €80 on Stonewars , €100 on Promobricks ? ? . If it is €100 that's quite steep despite the 900+ pieces (especially if LEGO exclusive) Either way, if minifig costs are spread across all segments, let's say the bus is €20-25 , the service vehicle €15-20, the rest to crossing , rails and station. Can't compare that to some big modular that's at least €200+. (with no 30-40% of it's budget going to side-vehicles) I have a feeling a lot of inspiration from the station came from this
  4. Not sure if mentioned before, but there's a Coral? frog in the wildlife mission set.
  5. I took a better look at the octopus set and I underestimated the amount of clips/ball joints because it's an 8 armed octopus with a ball joint and multiple clips each.
  6. There are 2 2x3 tiles with clips with solar panels as well , existing piece but still printed. The more I look at it, the better that set gets, with the amount of clips/joints because of 8 arms on the octopus, robot arms on the submarine etc, certainly a mech type of parts pack.
  7. Yes, windows certainly look transparent neon green to me, while the green bricks in those rainbow builds are likely transparent bright green. Also some 1x1 studs on a white fence piece, on the right side, the windows are closer to the neon green stud in color. I think those lightsaber blades look neon green as well. However, the final parts list will decide, I remember the debate about the yellow vs orange yellow on the City Crane pictures and I won't repeat that.
  8. I like the temple + crystal king, since you get all the "regular" ninjas (I know there's no regular nya) of the season that way + the sets use the same color scheme which I do really like with the grey and transparent-pink. As a whole wave, it's cool for sure, and a lot of nice colors and parts, but I try to avoid getting too many vehicles these days and especially those vehicles are quite high priced due to being bigger sets, but quite a large amount of pieces and figures in return. (I'm not saying overpriced) But yes, if I collect this wave I'll start with those 2 Crystal King sets first.
  9. I think the bike/icecream was mostly added to allow for parts for the alternate builds like the bike is reused in the bike garage/repair type of shop and as a hometrainer/spinning bike in the arcade, as well as the ice cream being reused as controller buttons. In recent years instead of 3-in-1 having 1 main build and 2 other builds with leftovers and afterthought I think the design for the alternate builds is already in consideration while making the main build. LEGO is making less of such buildings, 2020 was the last townhouse, 2021 had a beach house, so I think it's at least nice to have another of those €45 type of sets as I collect those buildings instead of the big expert modulars, that said, the new Friends art school will easily fit in a 3-in-1 style street as well.
  10. I think the submarine/octopus set isn't bad, just probably different from expected. The creativity certainly is there in the builds, just more like a bigger sea creature set instead of focus on different submarines. I still like the builds/pieces. 2019 Deep Sea Creatures is still sold so sea creatures are probably succesful for 3-in-1.
  11. That's a very nice purple truck build , and would fit right in with the 3-in-1 UFO ride.
  12. That's a big set for sure, using 4 of those 16x16 ART bases in white + more.
  13. There's a mostly black dog in monkie kid 80039, classic old shepherd/dalmatian mould but probably new print.
  14. They were in the set lists all along, just like the many stuntz, but the hype went mainly to the farm and train the last couple weeks. I predicted some variant of themed people pack , and based on parts count maybe some side builds, but they turned out better then I expected , all 3 of them imo, the extra parts make them more then just simple "build this vehicle and be done" Wildlife set has some cool custom crane arm parts, simple but easily makes it a truck to move terrain, get a fig into a tree, or move some fallen tree with the hook.
  15. Lion and Portal look good, after the plants got build it seems the budget ran out for the unicorn, however I know nothing about the park ride it's based on.
  16. Picture of Mythica Lion/Portal set (40556) appeared, has LEGOLAND on the box so exclusive. Those nexo shield tiles with runes look great as parts.
  17. It's very curious LEGO chose a Yellow Classic Space logo this time. (but I think the 2022 blue space logo was meant departure from Blue earth to the moon) Overall , I love the concept of this set, multiple classic engines and radar dishes and such and the price is very reasonable as well (€30 for almost 300 pieces). Those rocks with blue transparent pieces and blue flames seem to depict icy comets. Can't wait to see the full parts list as each picture shows something else, like there are 2 printed solar panels as well somewhere in the pile of bricks.
  18. My favorite sets from this reveal, definately are the Mission sets and the Supermarket. Mission Sets hopefully are more then just a 1 wave thing, I think they have high value and a good mix of a build, figures, accesoires/animals and a lot of extra side parts. 3-in-1 Noodle Shop , while not City , special mention and high priority for sure. The 3 farm sets are fantastic as well. Trains don't look bad for 2022 at all either (Passenger train one of the best ever for Town/City) but are in a very different budget category (€150-€180) and purpose so can't really compare to €10-50 sets.
  19. To me, even the Nexo Knight Eagle/Falcon emblems are compatible with things, but I'm not as picky as I only rejoined LEGO back in 2016 so most of my castle figs and print/sticker parts are actually nexo. I would even go as far as using those stickered parts as banners, however I can understand concerns from purists/classic collectors.
  20. Yeah, or maybe on second thought, i was thinking about how sharks are caught by the millions in the real world each year, and LEGO being big about preservation, maybe it's a choice to make them more statue-like. I know obviously they could be painted statues with eyes, but still, some people might think they are not. But LEGO had had box art mistakes on animals before, like the recent Pyroraptor has no stud on the back in the art.
  21. True, on second thought, eyeless does make them seem less alive and maybe a better choice for such an attraction instead of looking like real caught sharks being put up there. (sharks are being caught by the millions in the real world which isnt a good thing already, and LEGO probably acted accordingly to that, considering the amount of wildlife preservation sets) Normal Sharks were easy to get for a while via the Xtra polybag as well (and many in sets)
  22. Stuntz sets have some cool parts like the loopings, but those loopings also make them very expensive as a result , I can forsee some big discounts on those. The smaller stuntz sets are much more reasonable and look fun especially the Pirate-themed one. (except sharks without eyes? ? ? ) Batthub and Airplane fairings for the bikes are fun to see as well.
  23. Unprinted sharks are weird
  24. This is definately one of my favorite LEGO passenger trains ever, main downside is that you'd need 2 for a full train. Brick built looks much more appealing to me compared to many previous prefab cockpits on high speed trains, even while the dome window isn't perfect, I think it's fine.
  25. Roller disco has so much transparent and neon colors Recycling truck just does what it says ,very good. Art School looks like a midi Modular Building almost.
