  1. Hmm, looking better it could be the dashboard, but I still see a cable ...
  2. It looks to me the cabin is filled with a grey hub + there is a cable visible or is it my impression?
  3. I had not expected ever to see a Lego Technic model again with the colours of the 8466 model, but when I see the presentation of the Sian, it would not surprise me. Knowing Lego they will probably use the same colour as they used for the Landrover Defender ...
  4. No “Wow” feeling this year and you can see it from the underwhelmed discussion here. The Lamborghini is probably nice, but just another car. The flagship sets allow for complex models with different functions. Is it the case this year? Personally I don’t care if it can drive. Some MOCers here have understood this and offer a manual and motorised version. I would be curious to hear which is more popular. For me the pleasure is in the building, not in the playing with the final set. It’s cool to show the things it can do, but then you think “What can I build next?”.
  5. No surprise here ... I hope indeed that they choose a good colour! For the rest, I’m already looking forward to @jb70‘s Pimp my Lambo version!
  6. 42030 had 1635 parts, but I agree that at first sight it seems small for a flagship. What are the impressions of those who have seen the model in the flesh compared to other models such as the Claas or other recent sets?
  7. The cabin looks really good! I Think your prioritisation of form over function is justified in this case. Bought your instructions immediately. Thanks! This set turns out the best value for money with all these excellent C Models!
  8. Wow! Very impressive how you have combined functions with perfect form! Normally I am more into pure Technic building, but when I see what you have achieved with combining Technic with standard bricks, I have to admit that this is other level stuff. And then to imagine that you write that this a simplified version! I have bought the instructions to support your effort, but also to understand how you have created this masterpiece!
  9. Dear @Cumulonimbus, Thank you for your courage to share your personal pain with us. I have unfortunately experienced the same 15 years ago. Quite frankly I had not expected that so many of us here would have gone through similar situations! Afterwards we have had a healthy daughter, so don’t give up hope and stay optimistic. At the time I experienced that talking about it and diverting my mind with other things such as my hobby helped me. I know this is obvious ... Same offer as @Jim. Don’t hesitate contacting me via PM if You feel like it. Take care! Willem
  10. Nice to see a girl in the promo video for the catamaran! Lego Technic is also for girls, not just Lego Friends. My daughter of 13 actually build the 42100 and the Bugatti Chiron without my help!
  11. Cool! The Boston Dynamics robots are fascinating and scary at the same time. You can imagine such an unstoppable big dog just keeping going ... I’m curious to see your next steps!
  12. A big thanks! Just ordered the 42110. bol.com delivers in Luxembourg. I regularly order Dutch books there ...
  13. Wow, where did you find such a deal?
  14. Looks fabulous @efferman! Your MODs are the equivalent of a Pimp my Liebherr edition ...
  15. Maybe accept simply that there are different types of builders? Those who like to imagine and build things themselves and those who like to follow instructions. Providing a B-model actually stimulates children’s imagination. It shows that you can build something else from the same set. Otherwise it risks becoming a simple display set ... Build once, play a bit and up to the next. Now that I think of it, maybe this helps Lego sell more sets! Whatever the case, it is less value for money, so it justifies complaining IMO.
  16. I like the Catamaran and the Claas, but had hoped for something like the 8281 Tractor. So instead of B Models we now have 2 in 1? I hope that for the bigger sets and for the flagship sets they will continue to create B-Models. Luckily @grohl creates alternative models in his spare time!
  17. Fascinating! Thanks for sharing your process in perfectioning this amazing crane.
  18. @Void_S Really cool that you managed to build it as a C-model. Thanks for the instructions! Bought them already ...
  19. Go straight for the Pimp my Porsche version. Buy it now, logically the price will only rise in the future. It is a classic and an excellent display piece + you will not be disappointed by the building process.
  20. Wow, really cools MOCs. Who cares about 41999 when you can build this! I foresee an instant drop of the rip off prices on eBay. Thank you as always for providing instructions. Much appreciated!
  21. Just got the 42100 for 313 EUR + 62 EUR on a card to spend next time at the Cora supermarket in Luxembourg = 251 EUR. They advertised the set for 349 EUR, but when I arrived in the supermarket they had dropped the price to 313 EUR - 20% on your Cora card. Apparently 349 EUR was still too expensive for most. The Christmas period is often the best time for bargains, but this was totally unexpected!
  22. Absolutely! And it so obvious that it is surprising nobody thought about it so far ... Bravo! Would be very interested building this. The Mack has become the set with some of the best C-Models
  23. Another excellent C model from you! I had skipped this set, but I may reconsider now ...
  24. @m00se That is a great price! Online it did not work. Even with the 20% the price is still interesting as they apply the reduction on their initial price which is lower than the official price. Unfortunately, they in the end do not deliver to the Colruyt in Luxembourg ... I will be patient and wait for another interesting offer
  25. That’s what I thought as well. I have an Extra card ... I will try on 26/10 and let you know!
