  1. This was the deal I was waiting for at Cora in Luxembourg: the 42115 Lamborghini for 265 EUR -20% on a bonus cart. I paid 203 EUR in total. Last year I had bought the Liebherr for a similar great price.
  2. Fascinating to see the pictures of the real ship! Is your creation fixed in a particular manner to avoid that it moves during rough weather?
  3. One can argue that this falls under Model Team, but the advantage of posting in the Technics forum is that you have more visibility and feedback than in the Scale modelling forum. As a side-note, if I am not mistaken Edwin started his MOCs with Lego Technic. I remember a brilliant Unimog firetruck he made ...
  4. Hi Lasse, just to tell you that I deeply admire your work. It is absolutely brilliant. I have so far done nearly exclusively Technic building, but your models and knowledge sharing are truly inspirational. Keep up the great work!
  5. Thanks! I can understand by the way why the owner does not want minifigures on the model. It looks like a toy instead of a model ... Only at closer look you realise it is made with Lego and that adds to the charm and fascination.
  6. What a pleasure to see your creations again here! As always I’m in awe how you manage to build ships so realistically with Lego. My only remark would be that the size is not really visible in the pictures. Maybe you should add a minifigure or a human for scale. That will only make your build more impressive. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing!
  7. Check out a recent Banksy in this context: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/amp/entertainment-arts-52556544
  8. I also hope for the return of a real flagship set without remote control. More emphasis on building than on playing with the end product ...
  9. I like your model and also your video (Moving the Corona virus around was hilarious!). Very original to cover the Technic elements with normal bricks.
  10. Your first version was already very good, but I like it that you found ways to refine it to meet your standards and overcome the limitations of the Lego standard power and remote functions. Really enjoyed the video, had to laugh on multiple occasions.
  11. Excellent news! I’m also not interested in the C+ stuff and prefer more bricks and complex builds than remote control. In the past there was an alternation of flagship sets with/without remote control. I hope Lego will come back to this philosophy and will provide at least every second year a flagship set that deserves that name ...
  12. Although I think it is a shame the set was cancelled because I found it one of the more interesting sets this year, I still think Lego did the right thing, just too late. I was actually surprised they issued this model alltogether because it was so obviously against their policy of not building military sets. As we say in Dutch “beter ten halve gekeerd dan ten hele gedwaald” (a fault confessed is half redressed?). I guess they had these discussions internally before releasing the set and the reaction just confirmed their doubts/fears. It shows that Lego’s moral values are more important than the cost of the recall/cancellation of the set and I have respect for that.
  13. Hilarious! And agree with @Rudivdk on your acting skills.
  14. I suggest taking it apart first and then simply sorting the parts by type/colour. If you want to store them, there is no need to sort the pieces. You can sort them before you decide to rebuild the set or if you try to build the excellent B-model by @JamesJT https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-46921/JamesJT/ferrari-enzo-42115-b-model/#info or the Pimp up my Lamborghini version by @jb70
  15. @kbalage Thank you very much for your review. I found the modular build with comments very interesting. Normally I always skip the build part in reviews, but you made it really interesting.
  16. Another great B-Model! Makes me consider buying the original set. It is not the first time this happens. I have bought multiple sets Thanks to your B-models. Keep up your great work!
  17. I think Lego is shooting itself in the foot with not providing B-Models anymore. Less value for money for the customers, systematic negative publicity in reviews. Lego should give the example and inspire (think of the brilliant 42078 B model) instead of counting on the community and Rebrickable to take care of that part.
  18. Wow! Another stunning model with instructions!
  19. Thanks for sharing here! Compliments to @JamesJT for having produced so quickly a great alternative model. He really is on a roll with his alternative models for super cars. This car deserves a separate topic
  20. I had to look up this bike, but it is recognisable. Well done with the limitation of the available pieces! A missed opportunity by Lego and Bugatti to provide an official B model and to promote another Ducati motor cycle.
  21. As always looking forward to the real ultimate model with the instructions for adults!
  22. There are also some excellent alternative sets for the 42100. One is already on Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-37222/M_longer/42100-skid-steer-loader/?inventory=1#info. The instructions for the snow groomer by @grohl will follow.
  23. I think this set is calling for a Pimp up my Volvo version! I think the proportion comparisons by @Ngoc Nguyen say it all. 42070 was IMO really rock bottom! It is the only flagship set I have not bought, even when I found a decent deal for it ... 42114 looks better, but at first sight it is a disappointing flagship set.
  24. A big thanks! Bought the instructions already!
