yeah, they should made i like so: that in gear 1,2 and reverse the rear axle turns opposite(because low speed), in gear 3,4 the wheels turn the same direction. mechanically pretty difficult i guess but come on, they succeeded to shift with paddles, so this one must be possible to.

what a about 42051, a airport crash tender. It was planned to be released in first half of 2016 but it was canceled/shifted to 2017(don't know what it was) we have a picture of it. removed it is the truck in the middle. We still don't know why it is cancelled/shifted. also, dokludi made a replica from the picture.

i gave it a try as well, i made a tower crane. first <10 parts. it has 2 functions - turning the upperstructure. - the upperstructure can raise and lower. by sliding the yellow 1/2 bush. It also has - a solid base - a driver cabin - a counterweight dimensions: height: 32 studs (long axle touches the ground.) width: 25 studs (16L axle on the front, and weird thing at the back is 6 studs, and the #2 connector makes it 1 stud longer) length: approx. 7 studs (the wheel) then i made a 2nd version with <20 parts. this one has many more functions and features. it features: - a hook with 'rope' - a turntable - detailed cabin -detailed counterweight and functions: - it can rotate - it can lower/raise it's upperstructure - the upperstructure can be tilted, depending the position of the upperstructure, it can tilt higher or lower. - the hook can slide, and the boom can be retracted - the cabin can slide forward the last picture is somewhat messy

comes is special box, has a uniqe serial number, has stickers but not too many, 2704 pieces (3000 is not too far off), working steering wheel and paddlshifters, flat 6 engine (boxer or v6). i miss the brakes but further it is great

why do you think that? I think it is more logical that we see more in the building instructions, or in a review. Or were there earlier reveals for other UCS sets? I know we haven't had one in technic but maybe in starwars or something.
