Great achieved effect, truly liking the lamp.

Never heard or seen of the character but boy! you truly made something with curves and geometry on this one. Good job. :)

Nice little depiction of two great factions, great work at the fireplace using those pieces and the windows colors are uncommon, you can feel the atmosphere there. Just as a little advice you could change the head and hands of the Gandalf fig, so you could keep the continuity on yellow colors on the figs.

Book II - Nocturnus: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Niku replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
Good to see you back Angeli :) This is the part I of the new prelude to this challenge -
The ship and temple really are constructions to appreciate they have an appealing look and smooth nice forms. Impressive collection of troops also. :)
-
Nice depiction of Geralt with the witches heads, and well built with the selection of colors and posing, I might suggest that another color background could help a bit to distinguish better the moc. :)
-
I remember the previous versions you shared with us before. Your towers are specially eye appealing, I just might try one myself, if that is ok. Also liking the posing and the interior of the castle, it has a nice proportion and looks massive. It is great what you have done with the pieces you have, keep on building.

Never Look Back [Book II, Chapter V: Prelude, Part III]
Niku replied to MassEditor's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great photography and narrative, the creature looked really menacing, and the dark creepy atmosphere is well achieved. I want to know what this chapter awaits for GoH. -

My god this is fabulous, the story and the moc is so well captured in the photos you can really immerse into it. Definitely one of the best on GoH lately. I am so pumped out as everyone else for the last chapter. Keep them coming.- 19 replies

Welcome paulima, you have a nice collection there, also some of your mocs are nice too they fit well the city layout. You will find that displaying and organizing the sets and pieces is another big part of the hobby we all have to learn to deal with. Enjoy your time on EB and on Lego.

Nocturnus Minichallenge III/c: Igronows offer
Niku replied to kahir88's topic in Guilds of Historica
I like how you write the story adding little nods to previous events on Historica and referencing some builds and ideas on your construction. Well executed. Ps. I love how you made fun of Lord Ravage.- 7 replies

Latest CMF series impact on Historic themes
Niku replied to SirBlake's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
For me I could only use the legs, and to be honest is not a print that make them that interesting. The sword is out of scale totally. :\ -
Nice technique used on the sand, maybe cover the road a little bit with sand would look more natural. The palm tree is very interesting and looks naturally shaped. Well done.
-
Looks very natural, and the posing it makes it feel vividly in motion. Thanks for the tutorial on snow.

It is a nice Hippo, in proportion with the body and elements used, just as a positive criticism, maybe the slopes on the head could be put on 90 degrees to the front extending the jaw. The actual way is now it may also appear as a kind of a monkey. Nonetheless again I say is a nice representation.

This is just beautiful. Excellent construction, proportion and combination of colors.:)

Interesting opinions of late, I will try to add my own, although is more leaned toward speculation and personal wish list rather than facts. I expect(hope) in the future we see a "castle" theme with a thematic around the ancient world & mythology. During the CMF production a lot of new molds had appeared with iconic figures(medusa, poseidon, minotaur, roman, greek, egyptian, celtic, barbarian, pharaoh, liberty statue, satyr, yeti, wolfman, etc) that I constantly hear are an attractive material to the historical fanbase. Maybe TLG could exploit those already created molds with a theme that appeals equally to kids and adults.

Great collection of figs. There has definetely been an evolution on them related to printing. I really like them all as a whole. And even the retro ones seem to blend properly for recent themes. Thanks for sharing. :)

Very cool interview, great display you have there in your Lego room. I find always surprising to relate a human face to a sigfig once the person behind is revealed. By the way the technique on the ship is eye appealing and it seemed the interviewer was also nice asking the correct questions and showing interest. Greetings Captain. :)
