My first post as a 40 year old Modular/MOC newbie!
lostdriveway replied to craigslegostuff's topic in Hello! My name is...
Welcome to Eurobricks and welcome to the world of Modulars!! Hope you have deep pockets or as some have done recently - changed the colours of the older modulars to make them a little bit more affordable!! Good Luck!- 15 replies

Love the Star Wars Carousel! Awesome work!
-
$250 for the Heavy Haul Train in Oz - better then the usual $300 which is good considering the lack of detail on the flat cars!
-
Beautiful model!! Can't wait to see when you get it built and running!!
-
mmmmm pretty!! Excellent work!

CoasterDynamix Lego-compatible roller coaster parts
lostdriveway replied to Erik Leppen's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Does anyone know if these are still around? Website doesn't go anywhere anymore and I'd really like to be able to pick on up still... Second to that - has anyone made any coasters since the last update on the thread?? Cheers -

I work at Robina and walk past that guy pretty much everyday - I've been meaning to secretly stick "I sell Fake Lego" signs up around his stall and see what happens! -
I just did up some LDD files for which I think are pretty close representations of the following BN Standard BN White Face 1 BN White Face 2 BN Back BN Tiger Stripe SP Standard Rio Grande Standard If anyone is able to render them for me I'd love to share them. I'm fairly new to LDD and Rendering! Obviously some parts probably don't exist like the orange buffers but we can only wish right?
-
Anyone willing and able to post their LDD file so that I can go in and play with the colours? If so I'll have a crack at the BN and SP this weekend.
-
Really liking to BN colour scheme on this and might have to do one or 2 myself! Would look good in SP colours as well... Might have to have my first serious play with LDD!

lostdriveway replied to VintageLegoEra's topic in LEGO Town
Looks like the new DC Jokers fun house will make some nice fairground / circus additions for the Mixer set! -

I believe it's a Rail Crane.... With PF
-
To me it looks like a Rail Crane... If you look really closely there is a gear piece so I'm assuming it's either a MOC or a Set but it definitely has Power Functions for the crane! My god I hope it's a set! We need more photos of that!!!!

Stock car looks amazing!! As do the Autoracks

Underwhelmed by the City Square set... Especially for the reported price tag.. Needs better / bigger builders.. Probably a pass for me..

Pretty sure I saw the Beach buggy transport at Myer today.. Big W Robina also had the Snow Plow and Bike Transport -
Well the problem is I only have 2 PF motors at the moment and I use them in the Marersk locos as they are my favourites so the first rest just sit there or get pushed around to make space somewhere. The station combo was just a small thing I did yesterday as I was making space for new sets. Now I just need more baseplates!!

Ok back for an update - Brickeyville has had a move back from the garage into the toy room but I have managed to fit 2 tables in. Its not what I want the final to be like as I'm still planning on using 6 tables but for now I don't have the room and I wanted to run some trains. So the new look Brickeyville I still have a bunch of buildings and vehicles but they will have to wait until I can expand some more!
