Ok so here is my collection. These are photo's of my lego / toy room. I had to build the layout around and under the desk in order to do a decent loop. I'm still sorting out all of my bricks from when I was a kid. Currently just trying to do by colour and then i'll get in a break them down a little more. Its just temporary. My goal is to put everything into a show layout in the next year or so.

Just got home from work to find my wife had 2 presents for me for my birthday.... even though it was a couple of days ago! Scored the 8403 city house and the 7684 pig farm and tractor! Pretty stoked as they will fit into my layout theme very nicely. Looks like I have a good night of lego building ahead of me!

pretty sure I have a heap of those duplo animals at my parents house still from when I was a kid... hmm, might have to go dig them out!

Found the small Ninjago figures today at both Target and KMart here on the Gold Coast. No good sales to speak of. Kmart did have the HP stuff on clearance which has already been discussed.

just finished building both and I must say I was quite impressed with the fire helicopter. It probably wasn't a set I would have bought myself but now I want more fire stuff! augh! haven't gotten anymore just yet, but my wife gave me a coupon to buy a lego set once she gets paid so I have a few days to decide what i want!

So tomorrow is my 28th birthday but my family got together tonight for a post christmas / my birthday dinner so I got to open some presents early! Scored the Yellow truck and trailer set #3221 from my brother and the fire helicopter #7206 from my cousin! Not a bad start to my birthday and everyone knows I want lego so here's hoping for some more goodness tomorrow!!

I'm in the process of sorting all my bricks out so at the moment they are all just going into plastic ice cream containers and dog food containers by color. Once I get that sorted I'll go through each color and separate them further.

I just got both the passenger set and cargo set for christmas and I have to say I actually don't mind the flex track! I plan on building a fairly large layout and when I do I'm sure I'll be able to utilise the flex track on a hidden yard or in tunnels etc, and with the new flex track packs that include the straights, I'm much happier to buy that then the curve / straight packs as they are. I have too many curves and not enough straights which seems to be most peoples problem so far! Also with the set up i currently have on the floor in my lego room, the flex track allowed me to negotiate through and around some desk legs which probably wouldn't have been possible before!

can't wait for the harbour!!

So nothing was created yet so I thought I'd start one so everybody can list what the scored for Christmas! My folks gave me the Passenger station and my amazing Wife gave me the Cargo train AND the Passenger train!!! Plus also the Baseball minifig from series 3, the ringmaster and surfer from series 2! Also the small pig farmer miniset. SSSSOOOO stoked! Now I can get started on my train / city layout over the next couple of months... How did everyone else go?

Hi I'm new and from the Gold Coast, Australia. My passion for lego trains started when I was a kid and my cousin had the intercity passenger set. Over the years I grew out of lego but now into my late 20's my passion for Lego and Lego trains has been resparked! I'm in the process of rebuilding all my lego sets from when I was a kid and I know I'm getting both the the lego PF train sets for Christmas and the train station as my starting point. I'm going to start working on a lego train layout in the new year but of course it will take time and $$! Hope everyone is well and also Merry Christmas!
